I have a technical question? On amazon there is also the Secret History in Spanish although there are not any books on stock and does not have any reviews, there is also a "Recomended books forum in spanish" that I thought could be another possibility ... but my question is:

If it is usefull to post a review of the book in Spanish one, due to the time Laura mention here: http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,27220.0.html or just focus on the english one. ( I do have an account in amazon. com, but not in other amazon of other spanish languages countries.

I think it would be a good idea to post a Spanish review -- there may be a lot of Spanish-speakers who could benefit and who might not read the English reviews.

agreed and point taken, I will post a few reviews as well although I have not purchased from Amazon.

One thing I think will help improve awareness and subsequent sales is to have a kindle version of all books - since this is in Amazon's format (and contains DRM) there is little fear of piracy. Amazon has sold an amazing number of kindles (I have two of them as well) and I see them everywhere - on planes, bus stops, coffee shops etc. The fact that you can download the kindle app and use it on Apple and Android devices increases their appeal and market audience. I mostly buy kindle book these days since its usually cheaper and you can instantly get in on your device. fwiw.

I've added a couple of my reviews as well on amazon US, and went over to amazon.es to buy a couple of them in spanish so i can lend them to my family and friends (and i'll add some reviews in spanish as well), so i hope that helps :)

I have given a few weeks of break and added a few reviews to other books, and will now get my hands back again into commenting on Laura's books.

Reviews in Amazon UK are looking sooo much better and numerous :D

Just a note that the 2008 edition of Secret History, which is right at the at the top of the list when doing a search on "Laura Knight Jadczyk" has 19 reviews with a total of 3 and a half stars. However, its 2005 edition has 15 reviews and 4 and a half stars, but appears much further down on the list. So, perhaps we could add a few more reviews to the 2008 edition (at amazon.co.uk)?

You might need to add ALL of the titles to your bibliography (using Author Center) before requesting the combining of titles. Some of the newer titles do not have any reviews, but the older ones do. So combining would hopefully fill out all the titles with a certain amount of reviews.

If this is done on amazon.com, say for SHOTW, will the multiple copies that are available on amazon.ca, .es, uk, etc also get grouped together?

I've created the author page and added all the various editions of the books to it. They have a popup window that facilitates this by just clicking the "this is my book" button under the numerous editions, etc. It says it will all be combined and fixed up within five days, so let's see what happens.

Again, I really, really, REALLY appreciate the efforts of all of you. This activity will, I suspect, erect a substantial "wall of defense", so to say, as well as help many other individuals who are seeking for information and guidance. It is definitely "giving back" to the Universe!
