I'm just wondering why the US and their "highest officials", up to the Obama administration and the Pentagon, are so "interested in helping"?
Yes there were 3 passengers from the US on the plane, but I'm wondering if there might be other reasons then just helping, for why the US is so on top of solving this "mystery" now?
Those are two very good questions that need to be explored further. Why wait "day's" to do something constructive in helping, other than lip service? Why all the false leads and driving the Families and love ones to desperate melt downs over conflicting information?
As noted earlier, the U.S. and Malaysian Military are involved in Joint Military Drills and exercises and there's a top Military Installation on the Island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. It's not like the U.S. has to deploy ships from San Diego, California, half way around the World, they're a stone throw away?

U.S. officials said earlier that they have an "indication" the missing Malaysia Airlines jetliner may have crashed in the Indian Ocean and is moving the USS Kidd to the area to begin searching. (Comment - That's convenient! )
It's not clear what the indication was, but senior administration officials told ABC News the missing Malaysian flight continued to "ping" a satellite on an hourly basis after it lost contact with radar. The Boeing 777 jetliners are equipped with what is called the Airplane Health Management system in which they ping a satellite every hour. The number of pings would indicate how long the plane stayed aloft.
It's not clear, however, whether the satellite pings also indicate the plane's location.
The new information has greatly expanded the potential search area into the Indian Ocean.
"We have an indication the plane went down in the Indian Ocean," the senior Pentagon official said.
Investigators also said today that U.S. officials gave them reasons to keep searching the waters west of Malaysia, far from the flight path of the Malaysia Airlines plane.
Malaysian Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said that the search’s “main focus has always been in the South China Sea,” which is east of Malaysia and along the plane’s route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
I'm slowly coming to the conclusion, that this Malaysian Airline disappearance was a staged event, planned and orchestrated by the U.S. highest officials, the White House and the Pentagon? I feel there's a link to what's going on in Ukraine. I can only pray - that the passengers - are alive and safe.
Timing is everything in Warfare. The plane in question had undergone a routine Inspection in Feb. 2014. The plane could have been outfitted to help in it's disappearance and lack of signal or enhanced with a cloaking device or any other requirement to pull off the event. Chances are that it was remotely controlled from a secondary outside source and guided to an unknown destination? As for the passenger's - Gawd only knows.
As time increased with desperate Families demanding answers to simple questions and Authorities running around in circles, in false claims and dead ends, a report surfaced that a Military source had tracked the plane flying low on radar, having made a U-turn and gone 200 miles in the opposite direction, yet did nothing on their end to confirm the information. A Malaysian Military officer then denied the report or having issued any type of statement. I sense, the U.S. was directly involved in this fiasco for at least two reasons, one - to add more chaos and confusion to the situation and two - to make the Malaysian Military look foolish and incompetent. Insert - Big Brother U.S. to the rescue, to help their Military and further manipulate the situation to their agenda.
The bottom line, to get U.S. Carrier Ships in the South China Sea.

Release Date: 3/11/2014 - The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100) was one of the first responders in the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 that was lost sometime March 8, 2014.
The Kidd's crew is utilizing all capabilities and assets to assist in the search of MH370. The ambiguity of the potential crash site makes the area to be searched expansive but the two MH-60R helicopters deployed on Kidd provide a much improved search capability than ships alone.
"Kidd's ability to respond so quickly is a testament to the importance of the U.S. Navy's presence in this vital region," said Lt. Cmdr. Eli Marshall, Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 78's air detachment officer in charge.
It is just fortunate we were already operating in the South China Sea, allowing us to get on station in a timely manner."

The U.S. has dispatched a second destroyer to assist with the search efforts for the missing Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777.
The USS Kidd, an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer, joined the USS Pinckney in the search effort, according to the U.S. 7th Fleet. Both destroyers were conducting training in the South China Sea when they were dispatched to aid the search.
Both are equipped with MH-60R Seahawk helicopters, which have the capability to conduct night searches using Forward Looking Infra-red cameras, according to a 7th Fleet release.
The Navy also dispatched the USNS John Ericcson, a Military Sealift Command underway replenishment oiler. This will "ensure Pinckney and its helicopters can maximize their time on station," Marks said.

Current events in Ukraine

Secretary of State John Kerry warned of serious repercussions for Russia on Monday if last-ditch talks over the weekend to resolve the crisis in Ukraine failed to persuade Moscow to soften its stance.
Kerry will travel to London for a Friday meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov
ahead of a Sunday referendum vote in the Crimea region to secede from Ukraine and join the Russian Federation
U.S. and European officials argue that Moscow is orchestrating the referendum and waging an intimidation campaign with thousands of Russian troops controlling the region.
If Russian-backed lawmakers in Crimea go through with the Sunday referendum, Kerry said the U.S. and its European allies will not recognize it as legitimate under international law.
The U.S. and Europe on Monday would then unite to impose sanctions on Russia, Kerry told a Senate Appropriations subcommittee Thursday during a hearing on the State Department's budget.
“There will be a response of some kind to the referendum itself,” Kerry said. “If there is no sign [from Russia] of any capacity to respond to this issue ... there will be a very serious series of steps on Monday.”
“Our hope is to have Russia join in respecting international law. ... There is no justification, no legality to this referendum that is taking place,” he said. “The hope is that reason will prevail but there is no guarantee of that.”
Sen. Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina Republican and a top critic of President Obama's foreign policy, asked what the administration would do if Russian forces advance farther into the eastern area of Ukraine, and the new government in Kiev asks the U.S. for weapons to fight the Russians.
Kerry responded carefully, saying “we have contingencies – we are talking through various options that may or may not be available.”
(Comment: One of the options, I would guess, is the U.S. starting a War with Russia? With the U.S. also now positioned in the China South Sea, due to a mysterious missing Malaysian Flight, China would have the U.S. guided missile destroyers and equipped with MH-60R Seahawk helicopters on it's borders, within firing range, if China try's to assist Russia? )
How do explain something like that to the Families of the missing passengers of Flight 370?
