The Lower Franconia police tweeted that police officers still have a large presence in the city and parts of the city center were sealed off.

However, there is no longer any danger to the the population, police added.

"We have arrested a suspect," Lower Franconia police said on Twitter. "There are no indication of a second suspect. There is NO danger to the population."

A knife attack in the German city of Wuerzburg in which three people died and six were injured had an Islamist motive, prosecutors have said. The attacker, a young Somali man, was shot and arrested by police.

“An Islamist background for the crimes is likely,” the Munich Prosecutor’s Office said in a joint statement with Bavarian police on Tuesday, describing Monday’s rampage. The perpetrator shouted “Allahu Akbar” at least two times during the incident.

The gruesome attack occurred in the Bavarian city on Friday, when the suspect, a 24-year-old Somali, embarked on his murder spree. The man assaulted passersby at random, killing three and injuring six, two of whom remain in a life-threatening condition.

He was confronted by several brave civilians, disturbing footage from the scene shows, who tried to fend him off with chairs and other objects before the police arrived. Officers shot the man in the leg and took him into custody.

The attacker was not known to the authorities as an extremist, nor on any watch lists, German media reported earlier. Nonetheless, investigators reportedly recovered Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) propaganda materials from the homeless shelter where he lived.

He has reportedly shown no remorse for his actions, telling the police he had achieved his “jihad” goals. A senior security official, Joachim Herrmann, said the suspect had been admitted to a psychiatric unit suffering mental ill health a few days prior to the attack and subsequently released.

A possible serious incident (of an unknown nature), averted in Massachusetts. According to Fox news, Quote:
The group’s website draws strong connections with Morocco, asserting that the term Moor does not refer to Black people but to people from Morocco, and that all "people branded as Dominicans, Haitians, Tainos, etc. do not come from blacks, they are descendants of Moors."

The Southern Poverty Law Center describes the Moorish sovereign citizen movement as a "collection of independent organizations and lone individuals that emerged in the early 1990s as an offshoot of the antigovernment sovereign citizens movement, which believes that individual citizens hold sovereignty over, and are independent of, federal and state government.

However, it is not clear if Rise of the Moors is affiliated directly with that movement.

Massachusetts police have been in a standoff with an armed group of men who fled into the woods after being confronted by an officer. Authorities have asked local residents to remain in their homes.

A police trooper in Wakefield, Massachusetts, a town near Boston, came across the potentially dangerous group early on Saturday, after spotting two vehicles pulled over on the side of a highway. According to media reports, the men, who were wearing tactical gear and armed with rifles and pistols, were attempting to refuel their cars when the officer approached. The trooper then asked for identification and called for backup. Instead of complying with the order, “approximately eight males fled into the woods carrying rifles and handguns,” Wakefield Police said.

The armed men are said to be part of a group that calls itself ‘Moorish American Arms’. It is believed that the group “does not recognize our laws,” the police said. The group was reportedly traveling from Rhode Island to Maine for what was described as “training.”

No threats have been made, but the men should be considered armed and dangerous, Wakefield Police said. Residents have been asked to lock their doors and remain inside their homes until the standoff is resolved.

In the latest update, the force reported that all nine men have been taken into custody.

An individual was injured during a knife attack outside Dusseldorf airport’s departures terminal on Tuesday, and the assailant is on the run, according to the country’s police force.

The stabbing occurred at a ticket machine in the car park of Dusseldorf’s airport, according to Andre Hartwich, a spokesperson for the city’s police. The victim is being transported to hospital for treatment.

Authorities haven’t yet identified the assailant's motive but believe it could be due to a territorial dispute between homeless individuals, stating that “the names of both people are known to us.”

Seeking to reassure the public, Hartwich stated that the individuals involved are not believed to pose a risk to passengers or flights at the airport.

According to authorities, CCTV cameras captured the two men involved heading towards the airport parking area at 12:16pm local time (10:16am GMT), when the stabbing occurred.

This is the latest stabbing in a spate that has plagued Germany. On June 28, a 32-year-old man stabbed two individuals in Erfurt, causing serious injuries, before fleeing the scene. He was later detained, after police used a helicopter and sniffer dogs to track him down. Days earlier, on June 25, a mass stabbing left three dead and 10 injured in the southern town of Wurzburg before police stopped the attacker with a non-fatal shot to the leg. Authorities have not suggested the attacks were linked or a factor in the incident at Dusseldorf airport.

Dusseldorf is Germany’s third-largest airport, behind Frankfurt and Munich, with more than 25 million passengers passing through its doors per year. German air carrier Eurowings is headquartered at the facility, with it providing a base for a number of other airlines, which use its three terminals and two runways.

Meanwhile in the Cali.

A man wearing nothing but a pair of blue shorts scaled a church in LA and set its cross ablaze, local media footage shows, with the scantily clad arsonist then beating a hasty retreat across rooftops and powerlines.
Dramatic videos captured by local news agencies circulated on social media late on Wednesday night, showing the unidentified man as he climbed atop the Boyle Heights church and attempted to ignite a cross on its roof.

The individual then attempted to flee as officers arrived at the scene, leaping across at least three rooftops, and later grabbing onto a powerline and shimmying over the street below in an exceptionally dangerous getaway.

The suspect’s motives remain unclear, and it is unknown whether he suffers from any form of mental illness or psychosis.

CBS Los Angeles reported that the man was eventually taken into custody. The channel said that police used a helicopter with a spotlight to track down the suspect. The channel’s reporter at the scene suggested that an infrared camera was also used.

An American Airlines flight spiraled into the surreal after an emotionally disturbed passenger was restrained with duct tape following several midflight no-nos. The airline later defended its Hollywood-esque security measures.

The routine flight from Dallas, Texas to Charlotte, North Carolina quickly became anything but normal after a female passenger began mumbling to the man sitting next to her that she did not want the plane to “fly up anymore.”
The “odd” woman “started getting more and more agitated and very loud, and the man sitting next to her, along with the flight attendants, kindly tried to console her and calm her, but nothing worked,” according to a passenger on the ill-fated flight who spoke with the media about the bizarre ordeal.
The woman, described as in her 30s with green hair, reportedly bolted out of her seat and tried to rip open the plane’s door. She was quickly tackled by flight attendants, who restrained her limbs with duct tact and zip ties, according to the onboard eyewitness.
Passengers sitting in rows in front of and behind the unwell woman were then asked to move out of the way so that flight attendants could duct-tape the misbehaving customer to her seat.

According to one witness, the aircraft’s pilot got on the intercom and urged people to stay in their seats as personnel dealt with a “bad situation on the plane,” without elaborating further.
American Airlines later confirmed the incredible incident, explaining that a “potential security concern” required the plane’s crew to take action. The air carrier also disclosed that the woman “physically assaulted and bit” one of the flight attendants.
“For the safety and security of other customers and our crew, the individual was restrained until the flight landed at [Charlotte] and could be met by law enforcement and emergency personnel. We applaud our crew for their professionalism and quick effort to protect those on board,” American Airlines said.

The incredible midflight drama was initially documented in a TikTok video that later spread across social media. The video shows the woman with duct tape around her mouth and across her chest, preventing her from escaping from her seat. Despite the extreme measures used to restrain her, the woman reportedly yelled obscenities throughout the duration of the flight.
According to media reports, police met the plane in Charlotte and escorted the woman to a hospital, where she underwent a psychiatric evaluation. The woman was promptly placed on American Airlines’ blacklist, according to a spokesperson for the company. It’s unclear whether the woman will face criminal charges.

I wonder if she got the vaccine.
Neurological side effects of the experimental mRNA injections ARE being reported.
From my observations, of the elderly and others in my small community, that have taken the experimental injection, their personality's seem to be changing. For instance, my neighbors, one is a paramedic and her husband a college Professor. They were semi-normal, happy 40 somethings, kinda the neighborhood Go getters, generally happy loving people, and they appear to be changing in front of my eyes.

They both appear to be changing into dullards, she can't sleep enough, her face is puffy and pale.

The yard is a mess, flower and shrubs all dead, and he seems to have become rather brooding and mean.
They adopted a young female puppy about 7 months ago, and he has put a shock collar on her.
Its horrible, as she is very "alpha" and this will never work, but I have seen him smile, and even laugh, when as she gets shocked, falls, yelps and drops in pain.
I have also heard them explode into hyper-emotional and angry arguments.
Voices echoing across the back yard.

The 66 year old Grandmother across the street dropped dead, 1 week after the Pfizer injection.
Catastrophic Occipital brain bleed...woke in the middle of the night with a headache, and she dropped dead at the hospital.
She was the daytime caregiver for her grand kids, and those poor kids are devastated.
The 12 year old preteen girl has attempted suicide twice, and the 7 year old boy comes across the street to my place, if he sees me outside, for Gramma hugs, when he feels sad.
This Big Pharma mass murder just Breaks my heart....

The routine flight from Dallas, Texas to Charlotte, North Carolina quickly became anything but normal after a female passenger began mumbling to the man sitting next to her that she did not want the plane to “fly up anymore.”
Odds are the pressurized cabin "may" have initiated a brain bleed.

The “odd” woman “started getting more and more agitated and very loud, and the man sitting next to her, along with the flight attendants, kindly tried to console her and calm her, but nothing worked,” according to a passenger on the ill-fated flight who spoke with the media about the bizarre ordeal.
Heightened agitation, anger, and violent behavior are all considered "stroke" symptoms, or indicators, from what I remember from my experience as a Caregiver.
The woman, described as in her 30s with green hair, reportedly bolted out of her seat and tried to rip open the plane’s door. She was quickly tackled by flight attendants, who restrained her limbs with duct tact and zip ties, according to the onboard eyewitness.
Yeah, panicked behavior, another red flag of a possible brain bleed.
Gawd, having worked for a few years as a flight attendant in the past, and being married to an Airline Pilot, I feel a lot of compassion and despair for all the staff of the Airline Industry.

Did you all ever see the movie "Snakes on a Plane"?
I have a hunch that this seasons "Crazies on every Plane" is going to be a much worse horror show.

Several people were injured Saturday night after a driver ran his truck into a Hiram restaurant while firing a gun, police said.

Eduardo Morales, 34, was arrested after a group of restaurant patrons detained him while he was trying to reload the gun, the Hiram Police Department said in a statement.

A concert was happening at the 278 South Bar & Grill when Morales drove his vehicle through the front entrance, the establishment’s owner told Channel 2 Action News.

Hiram police determined Morales had been asked to leave the bar earlier in the night because he was intoxicated, the agency said. He left the restaurant but returned in his black Dodge Ram 2500.

The man then began shooting at the restaurant through the window of his truck, police said.

“When his weapon was empty, Morales then drove the vehicle into the bar through the front doors striking numerous patrons,” police said.

One person was grazed by a bullet during the incident, and another was hit twice by the vehicle. The number of people who were injured is not clear, and police did not specify their conditions.

The truck stopped when it hit the restaurant’s bar. Morales tried to back out of the establishment, but the truck became stuck, police said.

“While the vehicle was stuck, Morales attempted to reload his weapon, but was pulled from the vehicle and detained by patrons of the bar until the arrival of law enforcement,” police said.

Morales suffered minor injuries while being detained, officials said. He was taken to Paulding Wellstar Hospital before being transported to the Paulding County Jail, officials said.

An assailant armed with a knife stabbed several individuals inside a food market on Nankamen Road in Dadong District, Shenyang, July 14, killing two and injuring seven others. As of late July 14 authorities say the suspect remains at large. The attack occurred after a dispute with an employee at the supermarket; the incident does not appear to be ideologically or politically motivated.

Heightened security is likely near the incident site and nearby areas as investigations continue and police search for the suspected attacker. Localized business and transport disruptions are possible.

Context

Mass stabbing incidents occasionally occur in Chinese cities. Attacks are usually related to personal grievances or disputes.

Advice

Exercise caution near the scene of the incident. Heed instructions of the authorities. Plan for possible localized transport disruptions; allow additional time to reach destinations near the impact location. Remain courteous and cooperative if stopped and questioned by law enforcement personnel.

The president who professed not to allow the vaccine seems to die suddenly

Authored by John R. Lott Jr. via RealClearInvestigations (emphasis ours),
In response to sharp increases in violent crime, President Biden stressed again last week that his administration is focused on “stemming the flow of firearms used to commit violent crimes.” But critics warn that this “guns first” approach ignores a basic fact—about 92% of violent crimes in America do not involve firearms.

Although firearms were used in about 74% of homicides in 2019, they comprise less than 9% of violent crimes in America.

The vast majority of violent offenses—including robberies, rapes and other sex crimes—almost always involve other weapons or no weapons at all.

Consider Chicago, which has become a national symbol of violent crime. While shootings have increased by about 11% this year, the number of murders has decreased slightly in 2021—to 382 as of July 11 compared to 387 for the same time period last year. The dramatic increase Chicago is experiencing is in sex crimes—a 23% rise (1,068 as of July 11 compared with 868 during the same period in 2020).

In New York City, murders through the same period have dropped by 36.4% compared to last year. But robberies are up by 18%, rapes by 9%, and other sex crimes by 35%—all of which do not usually involve guns, sex crimes rarely so. This year murders make up 0.3% of felonies.

Even if gun crime were to rise dramatically, experts point out that it would still be a small fraction of overall violent crime.

The National Crime Victimization Survey, in the latest year available (2019), shows that there were 5,440,680 rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults and 16,425 murders. Firearms were used in 440,830 incidents for rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults (Table 25) and 10,258 murders. Adding those numbers up, 8.27% of violent crime incidents involved firearms. The percentage has stayed virtually the same for decades. For example, in 2000, it was 8.5%. In 2010, it was 9% (Table 4). Nor do most gun crimes end in murder: just 2% do.

The gulf between Democrats and Republicans on this is large. While Democrats are continuing to push for restrictions on police authority, Republican states are responding by giving police more power to do their job.

Nevertheless, Biden and other Democrats argue that lax gun control, which allows gun trafficking, is responsible for the increase in violent crime. The Biden administration’s focus on gun crimes is seen in the titles the White House put on Biden’s talks in April, June and last week: “Remarks by President Biden on Gun Violence Prevention,” “Remarks by President Biden and Attorney General Garland on Gun Crime Prevention Strategy,” and “Remarks by President Biden Discussing His Administration’s Comprehensive Strategy to Reduce Gun Crimes.”

In three speeches on crime, Biden mentioned “gun” or “firearm” 148 times. The term “weapon,” sometimes in connection with “assault weapon,” is used another 21 times. By contrast, when not directly discussing guns, he mentioned the words “crime,” “violence,” or “violent” about half as often—89 times.

Unmentioned by the president as factors in the violent crime increase were last year’s widespread unrest over the George Floyd murder and the dislocations of the pandemic, including mass layoffs, youths kept out of schools and, notably, the early release of many convicts from infection-prone prisons. Against this backdrop, some scholars question the president’s focus on gun laws.

“What change in gun control laws in 2020 could possibly explain the increase in violent crime over the last year?” asked Carl Moody, an economist who specializes in studying crime at the College of William & Mary, in an interview with RealClearInvestigations. “Why did violent crime increase now, rather than two or three or four years ago?” he asked rhetorically.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

Republicans, such as former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, point more generally to law enforcement. They argue that in many urban areas, more than half of prison inmates have been released on account of the pandemic and the releases are continuing. Bail reforms allow those accused of crime to remain on the streets. In some places, police have been ordered to stand down and their budgets cut. Prosecutors in many major urban areas have refused to prosecute violent criminals.

The Los Angeles Police Protective League, the union that represents rank-and-file officers, released a statement late last year criticizing Los Angeles County’s then newly elected District Attorney George Gascón’s pledge (since fulfilled) to reduce criminal sentences and eliminate cash bail for misdemeanors. “As homicides, shooting victims and shots fired into occupied homes soar in Los Angeles,” the union wrote, “it’s disturbing that Gascón’s first act in office is to explore every avenue possible to release from jail those responsible for this bloodshed.”

Gascón’s office did not respond to a request for comment.

In contrast with Republicans, Biden mentioned policing just four times in his three addresses. He did so once in connection with “red flag” gun laws, and three times boasted that the American Rescue Plan passed earlier this year by Congress provided funds to hire “more police officers, more nurses, more counselors, more social workers.” However, the bill did not require that local governments spend any of the $350 billion they received on law enforcement.

Moody told RealClearInvestigations that the president’s emphasis on violent crime is “understandable if only because of how heavily concentrated murders are in the country.” Over 50% of the murders take place in just 2% of the counties (60 of the 3,140 counties, the 60 making up 27.5% of the population), and even within those counties most murders occur within 10-block areas. These are overwhelmingly gang-related murders. They are surely important, but don’t touch the lives of most Americans. Fifty-four percent of counties have no murders and another 15% have one.

A man with a knife stabbed at least 10 passengers on a commuter train in Tokyo on Friday and was arrested by police after fleeing, fire department officials and news reports said.

NHK public television said two passengers were seriously injured. It said the suspect left his knife behind as he fled and was later arrested in Tokyo. The Japanese capital is currently hosting the Olympics, which end Sunday.

The Tokyo Fire Department said nine of the 10 passengers were taken to nearby hospitals, while the tenth was able to walk away. All of the injured were conscious, fire department officials said.

NHK showed a number of police cars and people in uniform on the street where it said the suspect was arrested.

The stabbing occurred near Seijogakuen station, according to railway operator Odakyu Electric Railway Co. The train line is mostly above ground but runs underground in the area of the attack.

Police refused to comment and no other details were immediately available.
