RIYADH: A suspected meteor streaking across the sky in Saudi Arabia was caught on camera.
Clips of a light streaking across the sky were shared by social media users on Twitter in the early hours of Sunday.
Several comments on the social media platform suggested that it had been spotted from several regions in the Kingdom.
Saudi astronomer, Mulham Hindi, also shared photos and videos on his official Twitter page of the suspected meteor

Impressive meteor-like fireball captured in Cordoba, Argentina, this Thursday, August 25, 2022.

Dozens of people from several points of the city of Cordoba were able to observe in the sky the fall of an impressive fireball with a strong flash this Thursday night around 23:51 local time.

As can be seen in the images the fireball was greenish in color with a strong explosion as it entered the atmosphere illuminating the night sky.

Yes, although I can't figure out WHY they'd want to do something like that. It's not like they don't have Chelyabinsk to refer to as far as meteor strikes go.

They also don't have beaches like that in Germany... But they do in Lebanon. Maybe it was the sound of a real explosion? 2 years ago, almost to the day.
