Re: Red eye

Wow... In the course of researching a nanosilver article for SOTT I just discovered this thread.

Oxajil did you receive your order from lifesilver.com? It ships from Tulsa, Oklahoma and if you were told 6 - 10 days for delivery, you must be international. Sometimes the destination country's customs people will add another day or two to the delivery time. Domestic US deliveries are usually always received within 3 days.

Your herpes/viral condition should respond very quickly to the silver hydrosols. It has in every other case of this type that I have had experience with. It is also completely non-toxic and very gentle on the eyes.

Part of my personal silver regimen involves spraying a fine mist into each eye after showering. This is particularly important for me after working outside clearing brush and weeds from my property. My eyes are very sensitive to dust, mold spores and pollen, as are my sinuses. It works like a charm. Using it as eye drops or nose drops will work equally as well.

If you have any questions about these products, feel free to email me at info @ lifesilver.com

Dear Rabelais,

Yes I did receive it in perfect condition and if I remember well I didn't wait too long for it. It did help clean my eyes, but it wasn't that effective against the virus, but maybe I haven't tried it enough times to really know that.

Now I use it some times on my face as it cleans it really nicely. Also have used it as nasal drops when I had the flu, which also was effective.

Thank you for your suggestion of using it as a spray in the eyes, I'm going to try that out!

For the eye problem I would also suggest taking a teaspoonful, 2 or 3 times a day orally, in addition to the spray or drops in the eyes. You have had this for long enough that it is well systemically established. Best to hit it from two directions at once.

Re: Red eye

Okay, so I've been using DMSO drops in my right eye for three days now, (two times a day), there isn't much improvement, But I do see that the little redness that was always present, has recuded.
It does quite sting in the beginning, but after a few seconds the pain goes away.

The virus is still there, though weak, and my sight has not improved yet. There is also a scar, and will be observing if it recovers.

I'll keep you all posted. Thank you for reading.

Re: Red eye

I've been using DMSO for ten days now, I can notice the redness going away, but my sight has actually decreased :( (it doesn't seem to have (much) effect on the virus) Perhaps I'm doing something wrong...

Your sight is steadily decreasing? Or is it sometimes better? Is this started before or after you started the DMSO?

It's not steadily decreasing, also not sometimes better. After starting DMSO, the blur kind of came back and my sight decreased. It's the virus doing it, I think. It did sting for a few seconds after the DMSO drop hit my eye, maybe I should try a 15% solution?

I'm now giving myself a vit. C overdose, and I have my FAR infrared lamp helping me out, I'm also back on the aciclovir pills now to calm the virus down. Maybe the sting stressed my eye, I don't know.

(Before DMSO, I have had on/off blurry sights, but it wasn't as bad as it is now)
Do you think I should continue DMSO? Maybe calm the virus down first, see if it gets better and then try DMSO again?

Thank you for replying!

I think you should discontinue because we're not sure what is going on and you feel uncomfortable with it. You can try the DMSO 15% later if necessary. I can't find any info regarding eye infections, only that DMSO is very effective to eradicate herpes virus in the skin. I find something today that may be of interest to you though. It is about low dose lithium and it's applications for alcoholism, herpes virus, brain health, etc. You can read the part regarding herpes virus here: http://www.thorne.com/altmedrev/.fulltext/11/2/93.pdf

And info in general here: http://www.digitalnaturopath.com/data/Lithium.html

Re: Red eye

Hi Oxajil,
I am sorry to hear you are still doing battle with this virus. Herpes is definitely resilient & difficult to treat, especially in the eye. I have not tried DMSO in my eyes. I was hoping I could use it to increase lens flexibility & keep myself out of reading glasses. But so far, I haven't mustered the courage and felt I was too stressed to tackle it. DMSO seems to be very powerful & its effects can be overwhelming.

I did use topical DMSO 50% on inflammed lymph nodes in my neck (see this thread http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=17014.90)
While the swollen gland did improve, I also ended up with a cold sore on my upper lip. I never followed up on the thread, but I ended up having several cold sores back to back. I commented, I thought the DMSO "shook the virus up" and perhaps there is more to this observation. I ended up taking oral acyclovir & left the DMSO alone.

I don't know about you, but for me, I am feeling stressed. I haven't done any international travel in 7 years - and I am anxious about my upcoming trip. My diet has been lousy lately, I have been working extra days, and to top it off, I got the worst haircut I've had in years! So true to form, Herpes reared it's ugly head - I have a cold sore inside my nose! Of all places. And a bad cold - runny nose, sore throat. I'm a mess! LOL

Having said all that, are you under any added stress? I would stop the DMSO & any colloidal silver. I would take the acyclovir 5 times a day, without fail. Do castor oil packs on the lymph nodes in your neck and around your ear. And if you still have the anti-viral eye drops, I would use those, in addition to the oral pills.

And of course, try to relax! I will include you in my prayers for a quick recovery! Stay strong! Lilou

Yes that's true. I think the main key is to have it as sterile as possible, and I don't think it would harm the eye that much if there's no virus in it, I've heard from some people at the chateau it has improved their eyesight! But I can understand your worrying.
Also, be sure to have no "natural" mascara on your eyelashes, as the DMSO might take it with it (just a thought).

That is certainly interesting!

Oh, dear! There's really nothing to worry about (other than staying vigilant). Be nice to yourself, have a nice diet, take some time for yourself to relax, and I think a haircut doesn't say much at all about your beauty :) And hair grows back, so :D
Inside your nose huh! Try to eat less sugar or no sugar at all, also keep this list in mind: http://www.herpes.com/Nutrition.shtml It seems lysine can help with the process of battling this virus and arginine worsens it. I've noticed this before as when I used to eat nuts (high in arginine), the virus was having a party in my eye.

Lilou said:

Yes I am. But I think I'm dealing with it alright, I've been talking a lot to myself about it, and EE helps. I might talk about it soon in the Swamp.

I still have the Pred Forte drops, are they anti-viral? I think it might be best to start using those drops after a week of having acyclovir pills, so it won't help the virus with growing (since the steroid can do that, right?). Also, is it possible for me to take acyclovir on an empty stomach?

Thank you so much Lilou, I will also pray for you, don't worry about the upcoming trip, it'll be a lot of fun I am sure!
