Olympic games in Paris (2024)

Is it too much to say that they're trying to bring about the antichirst?

And again in Paris, I recall the Notredame fire, and despite never actually having seen it personally, there was a little heartbreak when seeing the flames taking over the temple to our holy mother. And here's the thing that I've been considering when witnessing it all happen.

I keep thinking, well if there are queer people in the world, and they're so creative and there's appetite for their stories, and they have something to say to the world, why not write their own stories? that thought It really bugs me.

Why not write an original story that suits their needs? why do they have to take established stories, LOTR, Star Wars, and so many others and supplant them with their own views and inject their politics? And it strikes me that it's gotta be a bit beyond simply lacking creativity, I think their very purpose is to supplant those stories that are so sacred for humanity.

Same thing goes for the last supper, it's a story, Caesar's story in a way, about mercy, about sacrifice, about goodness. It's a story that for better or for worse, has inspired millions throughout many lifetimes. So, like a parasite, they have to leech off of it.

And the thing with stories, whether it's LOTR or the last supper, is what they contain for those who connect with them, in dark times, they can be a light of hope and inspiration, supplanting them ensures that no one has any hope left when darkness descends upon us all.

Talk about the antichrist, not here to inspire and transform, but to deform and despair.

I have not found a clear photo but it is mentioned in social networks that she has the Tarot card XXI "the World" (le Monde) tattooed on one of his forearms.

So it seems that she was chosen for a deep purpose. As they say colloquially the Opera ain't over till the fat lady sings.

"It ain't over till the fat lady sings" The phrase is a reference to Opera sopranos, who were traditionally fat. It is believed that the phrase came about as a result of Wagner's piece "Twilight of the Gods". The "fat one" would come to be the Valkyrie which with its final scene, ends the piece and the entire cycle of four operas. As Wagner's piece is about the End of the World (or at least the world of the gods) in a very significant way "everything" ends when the "fat lady" sings.

I mean, it's things like these that led to the rise of nazism, under the veneer of patriotism and 'return to tradition'. They'll just keep shoving this stuff down our throats until you either become one of them or you're forced into a corner where 'drastic measures' become the only option...and when the dust settles (i.e. when things "reset"), they get to hold the moral high ground by playing the victim yet again.

It just seems all too coordinated in an attempt to provoke a violent reaction to an age of decadence and moral degradation. Whether the reaction comes from Islam or Christianity, Iran, Russia or China...what have you, does it really matter whose side you're on in a controlled demolition where bankers and the military infernal complex are the real winners? In the end, the cycle repeats itself, brief prosperity followed by controlled chaos, with the leash becoming ever so tighter with each iteration, for the 'greater good' of course.

How do we steer clear from history repeating itself? Because to me, it's as clear as day we're experiencing more or less the same theme (with a couple of extra ingredients) that lead to ww2. Not to mention the dangers and fear mongering revolving around immigration, mandatory conscription (or else!), AI, nuclear & biochemical threats and false messiahs lately. Maybe I'm not adhering to the rules of the EEQT model correctly.

About a Palestinian 2022 junior weight lifting gold medal winner:
Times have changed regarding the quality of the amount of gold in this year's Olympic Medals.

Some say inflation is the cause, or is it that the current French economy is bleeding money due to the loss of revenue behind the Boycots from the Trans Agenda?

The opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics marks the start of what is officially called the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad Paris. Starting on Friday, approximately 10,500 athletes will participate across 32 sports in 329 medal events—in front of billions of viewers worldwide. They will all be competing for the Olympics’ ultimate prize: the gold medal.

The value of the gold medal to an athlete who has spent much of his or her life pursuing such a goal can’t be measured. But the materials used for the gold, silver and bronze medals can. The podium cost of a 2024 Olympic gold medal is approximately $950, based on the spot price of gold, silver and iron on the morning of July 24 and the amount of those materials that are used for the medal.

It is possibly the highest value of any gold medal in the history of the modern games, primarily because of record high prices for gold. It surpasses the $708 record for the 2012 London Olympics. However, it should be noted that the value of all the previous gold medals has increased dramatically based on the record price of gold.

All medals are 85 millimeters across and 9.2 millimeters thick.

Iron From The Eiffel Tower—And 6 Grams Of Gold

The Olympics gold medal weighs 529 grams, more than 95.4% of the medal is actually made of silver (505 grams). Six grams consists of pure gold, which serves as the plating for the medal, and 18 grams consists of iron, according to various reports. If the gold medal was made of pure gold, it would be valued at approximately $41,161.50. This is why the last time pure gold medals were presented was in 1912.

The silver medal weighs 525 grams with 507 grams made of silver and 18 grams of iron. Its value based on the July 24 silver spot price for silver and iron is approximately $486.

The bronze medal weighs 455 grams and consists of 415.15 grams of copper, 21.85 grams of zinc and 18 grams of iron. Its podium value is approximately $13.

Iron isn’t usually a metal used in the making of Olympic medals, but it’s not just ordinary iron. It comes from the Eiffel Tower, the universally recognized symbol of Paris and France.

The metal specifically came from sections of the monument that were removed to modernize the elevator sometime in the 20th century. The metal was refined in the forges of the city of Pompey, in eastern France through a process called “puddling.” Once the excess carbon from the cast iron is removed, the iron that remains is “almost pure and extremely robust,” according to the official Olympic website.

When determining the intrinsic value of the Olympic medal, the design typically isn’t included in the price. However, for these medals, this may change, as they were designed by the historic French high jewelry house, Chaumet. Founded in the 18th century, the jeweler with its workshops in the equally historic Place Vendôme in Paris is perhaps best known for producing jewels and tiaras for French and British royalty. In a statement, LVMH, the French luxury holding company that owns Chaumet, say it is the first jeweler in the history of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to design the medals.

French Symbolism On The Olympic Medals

The iron from the Eiffel Tower, stripped of its brown paint, is incorporated into the center of all the medals in a hexagon shape, which serves as the overall shape of the country. It is engraved with the emblem of the Paris 2024 Games, which unites the gold medal, the Olympic flame, and the face of Marianne—a cherished symbol of the revolution and the people of France. The words “Paris Olympics,” and the Olympics logo of five rings appear below the emblem.

A series of metal rays coming from the iron center evoke the radiance of the nation as it hosts the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, as well as that of the athletes. “This radiance is heightened by the faceting on the medals, designed to reflect light and evoke the French capital’s nickname, the ‘City of Light,’” Chaumet said in its statement. “At the same time, it imparts a special brilliance to the athletes who will wear the medals around their necks.”

Connecting the iron center to the series of rays are two techniques frequently used by Chaumet for its high jewels and watches. Six metal appendages on each corner of the hexagon-shaped center use a “griffe setting” technique, an ornamental and often oversized decorative overhanging setting. The appearance of the griffe setting is designed to be like the “Clous de Paris” hobnail motif, consisting of small pyramid-like squares, found in fine jewelry and watchmaking. More specifically, it is designed to imitate the pattern of rivets on the Eiffel Tower.

As with every Olympics, the reverse side of the Paris medals tells the story of the rebirth of the Games in Greece, an adaptation introduced of the goddess of victory and the stadium for the Olympic Games Athens designed by Elena Votsi. A traditional feature of the medals since 2004, the goddess of victory Athena Nike represented in the foreground, emerging from the Panathenaic Stadium that witnessed the revival of the Olympic Games in 1896. The Acropolis of Athens, another compulsory feature of the Olympic medals, is joined by the Eiffel Tower for the first time in the Paris 2024 design, which Chaumet says links the inspiration of the ancient games in Greece, the French origins of the modern Olympic Games and the 2024 Paris Olympics

There are no such restrictions for the reverse side of the Paralympics medals. This is where Chaumet was truly able to express itself. The medal presents a graphic representation of the Eiffel Tower from an upward perspective, a rarely seen angle. The words “Paris” and “2024” surround the feet of the tower written in Braille, the symbolic language of accessibility and a reference to its French inventor, Louis Braille. To enable athletes with visual impairments to feel the difference between the medals, dashes are engraved on the edge: I for gold, II for silver and III for bronze.

A great deal of symbolism is reflected in the ribbons for the medals as well. All the medal ribbons are adorned with the Eiffel Tower lattice work. The Olympic medal ribbons are dark blue, while those of the Paralympic medals are a deep red—a mix of the first two coats of paint (“Venice red” and “red-brown”) used on the Eiffel Tower. Paris Olympics: Dutch beach volleyball player and convicted child rapist draws boos and whistles

PARIS — The convicted child rapist playing beach volleyball for the Netherlands received a mixed response before his Olympic debut.

Steven van de Velde drew mostly muted applause on Sunday when he and his partner emerged from the Eiffel Tower Stadium tunnel and walked across the sand for the first time. Boos and whistles were far more audible when the stadium PA announcer introduced van de Velde before the match, but those were soon replaced by cheers from orange-clad Dutch fans once the match against an Italian team got underway.

They roared when van de Velde began the match with a big block. They oooohed when van de Velde unleashed a devastating cross-court kill on a key second-set point. A group of Dutch fans above the stadium tunnel even stood and applauded for van de Velde as he exited after he and partner Matthew Immers lost their opening match to the Italians in three close sets.

The response wasn’t so gentle from the international media horde that came to Sunday’s match. A few dozen reporters from at least eight different countries made a beeline to the mixed zone after the deciding third set where they waited to see if the Dutch would follow through with their pre-match plan not to allow van de Velde to speak to the media.

Van de Velde indeed did not show, leaving Immers and Dutch National Olympic Committee press officer John van Vliet to face a barrage of tough questions. A British reporter even asked van Vliet if van de Velde’s unwillingness to speak with the media made him “a coward as well as a child rapist.”

Immers told reporters that he was “disappointed” by all the focus on van de Velde’s past conviction, particularly after their “hard fight” to qualify for the Olympics. Van Vliet defended the Dutch’s decision to honor van de Velde’s request to stay in a hotel rather than at the Olympic Village and to allow him to skip out on post-match mixed zone interviews.

“As an NOC [National Olympic Committee], we are here to create an environment for all our athletes in which they can perform well,” van Vliet said.

When asked if that made it seem like the Dutch were protecting a convicted child rapist, van Vliet responded, “We are protecting a convicted child rapist to do his sport as best as possible for a tournament in which he qualified for.”

Van de Velde sentenced in 2016
The firestorm of controversy surrounding van de Velde, now 29, stems from an incident that took place almost a decade ago.

In August 2014, when he was 19, van de Velde flew to England to meet a 12-year-old girl who he had befriended after she began following him on Facebook. The victim told her parents she was staying with a friend and snuck out to try to book a hotel room with van de Velde in her hometown a little over an hour’s drive north of London.

Van de Velde knew how young she was when they drank Bailey’s Irish Cream together. He knew how young she was when they slept on cardboard boxes under a hotel stairway after they couldn’t get a room. He knew how young she was when they had several sexual encounters.

Before he returned to the Netherlands, van de Velde advised the victim to get the morning-after pill because they had not used contraception. Staff at a family planning clinic alerted the victim’s family and the police because of her age.

At his 2016 sentencing hearing, van de Velde wept when he learned the victim had experienced guilt and had been self harming, the Milton Keynes Citizen reported. Judge Francis Sheridan issued a scathing rebuke, according to the newspaper, telling van de Velde that “the emotional harm that has been caused to this child is enormous” and that “as she matures she will have to come to realize that you are not the nice man she thought you were.”

“Prior to coming to this country you were training as a potential Olympian,” Sheridan added. “Your hopes of representing your country now lie as a shattered dream.”

That prediction hasn’t held up as time has passed. Van de Velde only served 13 months of his four-year prison sentence. Twelve of those months came in England. He then was transferred back home to the Netherlands and released after a month as a result of the country’s more lenient laws concerning statutory rape.

In interviews with Dutch media shortly after his release, van de Velde said he initially broke off contact with the victim when she revealed that she was 12, but conversations picked up again when he sought comfort from her. The sexual encounters, van de Velde said, were “the biggest mistake of my life.”

“I did what I did,” van de Velde said. “I can’t reverse it, so I have to live with the consequences.”

At home in the Netherlands, those consequences have been modest. The Dutch volleyball federation welcomed van de Velde back after he sought and received professional counseling and demonstrated “self-insight and reflection.” Over the past three years, van Vliet said Sunday, van de Velde has played “at least 100 tournaments in beach volleyball where [his rape conviction] was never brought up.”

Victim advocacy groups call for van de Velde to withdraw
The response has been different across Europe and beyond since van de Velde and Immers qualified for the Olympics. International media outlets have shined a spotlight on van de Velde’s disturbing history, social media users have expressed outrage over his inclusion on the Dutch Olympic team and sexual assault victim advocacy groups have called for him to withdraw from Paris 2024 or face a ban.

“His participation sends a message to everyone that sporting prowess trumps crime,” said Kate Seary, co-founder and director of UK-based Kyniska Advocacy.

An open letter from The Brave Movement earlier this month said, “There is still time for Van de Velde to withdraw. There is still time for the Dutch Olympic Association, NOC*NSF, to withdraw him. We believe that is the only appropriate action.”

Asked what his message would be to survivors of sex crimes, van Vliet said he had “no message.”

“We respect every opinion on this matter,” he said.

Van Vliet and Immers both said the Dutch have been surprised by the response to van de Velde playing in the Olympics after so many years without complaints.

“In general, sex-related crimes are definitely a much bigger issue than sport,” van Vliet said, “but in his case we have a person who has been convicted, who did his sentence and who did everything afterward that he could do to be able to compete again.

I spoke with few peeps at work and they are talking about it, though not very openly from not knowing how others will react in this over-hyper PC world. I chimed in dismissively so, that gave them the encouragement to open up and the general consensus is that they saw clear satanic symbolism, pointless nudism and a push to destroy christian morals. Not sure what the intended effect was but it's certainly polarising quite a few people towards more orthodox/conservative ideals and I think they have had enough of the LGBT parade. There is the odd one (also, happens to be a vegan) who is saying that it was very "French" and they liked it - well, not much can be done about those.

Well, so far, I'm not surprised by the choice of logos, decorations, etc. That's the Macrons for ya! But what's up with that horrible fencing that leaves tourists out of the center, and spectators looking like they are viewing animals at a zoo? And the QR code? I mean, it's just dystopian. Are they expecting (read:planning) a terror attack, or is it just more programming?

I also read on X that hospitals in Paris are back to making masks compulsory...
There are always programming attempts during events like these. Whether those fit in with a particular agenda is a secondary question. I honestly doubt that this 'artistic director' knows anything relevant whatsoever. Compared to London 2012 all of the stuff we saw was fairly tame imho, but to be fair its almost never random. The sorcerors know how they want to speak to the public.

First, I am not a Christian but the show from what little I saw was really artistically awful as well as factually inappropriate (or appropriate as a trap :-) ). So I am not here to defend it. But Work that can be done on tolerance by believers prone to division and victimization can start from artistically TOP works. I personally consider NEPTUNE FROST Neptune Frost | Rotten Tomatoes
one of these. The cast and direction are completely black. You have to get past the vomit and right woke thing to fully appreciate it. But from the point of view of the work it is worth it. Ihmo

There are a couple similar posts circulating on Facebook attempting to "explain" how the Olympic opening ceremonies were NOT mocking Christianity, that the Smurf ensemble was NOT related to the last supper painting, and that it was NOT death riding a pale horse, but were rather based on other ancient Greek figures from history.

Fore sure, but as the goal is for the minority to oppress the majority, they would have no so much fun.

Why Lady Gaga? Well it’s pretty obvious that she is one of those ‘deep level punctuators’ that the C’s talk about. She has a spell bound air about her induces a hypnotic state to the minds of people she can affect- which in my guess book is a lot.
Lady Gaga a ‘deep level punctuator‘? I'm not sure about that. I think she's small fry.

What makes me angry about these degenerates, is that by their actions, they bring the chances of homosexuality being decriminalised around the world around nil and void. But these nutjobs only think about themselves.

Many gay people are decent, many probably produced work of art, but somehow, their talent was enough and they didn't need to play the gay card😉.
Last Friday, people around the world must have thought "if this is the end result, we'll keep throwing them in jail". Even in the West, I'm sure we will see gay rights attacked, because now, being gay nearly equates to being in favor of pedophilia.

As for Notre Dame, seeing it burn was a wake up call for some French people, many didn't buy the official story and they felt as if the soul of the country was attacked. I heard it from so many that I was stunned. So maybe some good came out of it. Just like Covid, the wars, the genocide in Palestine, this LGBT, anti-chistian, anti-white freak show, all these shocks are waking people up.
