Pets acting strange?

This may not be strange, but more interesting. On 2 recent walks, one at the evening hour with light before it became dark and the other later in the evening dark already . In the first walk on a paved road that I take frequently, I will pass by a home, and the same two dogs come to the gate when they scene my presences. They always jump up on the gate and start baking, as any normal dog would being protective of there boundary's. On a another evening where it was still light as I started my walk, but this time the owner was out front of the home where the dogs live with him, and the gate was open. The two dogs (1 large German Shepperd, and large Spaniel mix), seeing me immediately ran to me and started to bark. But once I extended my hand to let them scene I had no fear, they comm down and then started wanting to play. The Shepard picked up large stick with his mouth and began to prance as if come and get if you can. So I engaged them throwing the stick toward there home. This went on for a couple minutes and the spaniel end the game and wounder off back home. The Shepperd on the other hand wanted to play and would not leave my side. With repeated attempts to shew him back failed. I continued the walk, thinking that if i stop entertaining him he would leave. But as it end up he would escorted me for the entire walk which was another 1 hour till would finish. On the way back from the turn around he runs down embankment towards the road below that find its way back to his home. Buts it pitch black and the thought he might be in trouble, lost or be off chasing something as there wild bore, deer, and fox's that rome the area at night. So after while I gave up and started back and low behold there he was behind the gate barking at me again as I past on the retreat home.
The second night was a different road but more heavily traveled. This time it was on the road back to my residents that I would encounter 2 dogs in the dark . They check me out, (being pretty friendly for the dark night where little can be seen)and after the cursory smell and sniff, they once again follow for a bit. As I proceed one goes back to where they met me . The other second density friend was Border collie and he began to follow me as the Shepperd. Nothing strange just an escort if you will with another 30 minutes till I would finish in a light misty rain. He ended up going all the way to the front door. And at that point I thought he might be lost or a stray. So thinking that I would bring him inside, dry him, feed him, and house him and wait till next day to figure it out what then . But once I tried to cox him inside, he would have nothing to do with it. And took off for home (I hope) as have I yet to encounter him again. Their is nothing strange about the situation, but more entertaining that they would provide escort for a stranger. But it was nice to have there company and thought it unusual, but nice ! :)

I just want to ask if anyone has noticed any unusual behavior in their pets lately - like over the past three weeks or so? Changes of habit; a little more nervous; clinging or staying very close; appetite changes; that sort of thing.

I know this is an old thread, but I just wanted to mention that even though chihuahuas are nervous types anyway, in the last 6 months or so I've noticed more instances of them (we have two) wanting to hang around my feet or stay very close, especially when doing anything at all in the kitchen. Plus, they want to go outside with me way more often than they used to, so when I put them out and don't stay out with them, more often than not, they want to turn right around and come back in.

My little friend, [a Maltese X] is Also very clingy at the moment. Funny thing though. On our walk in the park, there is a pathway
by the duck pond. Sometimes as we get to the pathway she will not follow me, she just sits there ,no way will she come to me
She does the same with my son when he walks her in the park. It's just this one spot............ Strange.....

My little dog, Echo, has been sort of clingy since we got him. If possible he is always near me. If I go to another room or outside he wants to go too.

He's doing something else though, also. Maybe it isn't unusual but I've never noticed another dog doing it (that I can recall). He pays attention to the TV, he doesn't actually watch it (that would be weird) but if an animal comes on he goes over to the TV and starts growling and barking. :O
He also looks behind the TV for the animal.

Sounds like you've got yourself a pretty smart dog there Tom! I mean, he may not watch the TV, but if he can recognize things on it then that's pretty impressive IMO. It might wear off after a while though when he figures out that those critters in that box thing don't seem to pose any threat. :D

Yeah, it's sort of weird. I can't remember any of my other dogs ever doing that.

He is fairly smart though. He seems to have been born house trained. Sometimes when I talk to him he cocks his head to one side like he's trying to figure out what I'm saying. :)

Well, at the time this topic was made, I had a total of 7 cats living with me. I had two myself, then "adopted" my mothers cat when she died, and this cat then soon had 4 kittens. It was basically a kitty daycare here..
One of my cats "Tessa" had always been the one who loved to cuddle, and sit on my lap, and my other cat "Lilly" was more independent. She didn't like too much human contact really. It was difficult to really "get to know" my new cats as I suddenly had so many of them, and I didn't keep them for long, as it soon became too much trying to give everyone love and attention and everything else they need. The kittens got new homes, and sadly I had to put down my mothers cat.
Anyway, at the time this topic was made, Tessa got a habit of going out and not coming back home for months. I remember one time, she had been away for two whole months, and just one day came walking in the doors as if she just left. She looked healthy, well fed, and I couldn't help but wonder where she had been. I kept her inside for a few days, in the hopes that she would stop being away for so long stretches of time. When I let her back out a couple days later, that was the last I saw of her.
Then Lilly, who used to just stay by herself and not really caring all that much about me, became very clingy, and she still is. She wants to be around me all the time, follows me everywhere, even to the store, she looks me in the eyes like she's trying to tell me something, but only meows if there's something she wants and I'm too stupid to get what it is.

 I have to ask you something Laura, if you have some idea of. What is going to happen to the animals, with the arrive of the wave?

Hi, that question is touched on a little in this thread:

Ok, I have read the thread and talks about pets going to 5d, so maybe I didn't read what I wanted to know or on that thread there is nothing about my question. What is going to happen with the animals, and plants with the arrive of the wave, if we or the humans, are going to have problems or an issue with the emotions, are the animals going to live something similar? what about the plants?

I don't ask what happen with them when they die. But thanks anyway. Please, if someone have an idea, I will be thankful.

Here's the video of a kitty who seem to really enjoy its food...

If "speaking" is the sign of a coming transition for 2D creatures, this one seems pretty close to graduating.
