Kiyomasa, un gorille dos argenté presque adolescent, accepte à contrecœur une séance de toilettage de son père attentionné. Contrairement aux autres singes, le toilettage parmi les gorilles n’indique pas le statut social. Même le dos argenté dominant soigne les membres de sa famille. Observer leur comportement c’est vraiment intrigant. On aura beau le répéter mais quand on les regarde, on ne peut s’empêcher de voir notre reflet. Sûrement l’un des animaux qui me fascine le plus...

Watching their behavior is really intriguing. We can repeat it but when we look at them, we can't help but see our reflection.

Cela fait quelques années que je recueille des témoignages d'attaques et de prédation sur les nids de cigognes.
Le nombre de nids de cigognes augmente fortement et les milans en profitent.
Cela ne marche pas à tous les coups, mais ils essaient.

Un Pic glandivore en train de stocker des glands dans un arbre pour passer l’hiver. Le pic glandivore a adopté une manière très particulière de stocker sa nourriture : il se sert de l’écorce des arbres dans lesquels il creuse des petits trous avec son bec pour y ranger soigneusement les glands.
