La magnifique métamorphose du Actias Luna (papillon lune).Ce papillon lune se distingue par ses ailes émeraudes dont le diamètre varie entre 7 à 12 centimètres et qui se terminent par de longs prolongements des ailes antérieures ressemblant à une queue.Il est présent en Amérique du Nord, du nord du Mexique jusqu'à l'est des Grandes Plaines des États-Unis. Au Canada, on le retrouve dans la province de la Saskatchewan jusqu'à celle de la Nouvelle-Écosse.
