A Brazilian bird had the most fun bouncing a golf ball on a cart path

According to Golf.com, this fun-loving Brazilian bird is a seriema, which looked like it was having a blast when it took a ball from a practice area and proceeded to bounce it a couple of times like a kid.
Did it think the ball was food with a shell that could be cracked open? Is this a seriema pastime? I really want to believe it’s the latter.
