Putin Makes Joke About Russia Gearing Up To Interfere In The 2020 Election | Hallie Jackson | MSNBC
NBC News' Keir Simmons asks Russian President Vladimir Putin about potential Russian interference in the 2020 U.S. election. Putin mocked the possibility of future election interference, saying sarcastically, "yes we will definitely intervene."

Just an opinion. I invite you to show otherwise.
I agree Bastian: Chirac fighting against deep state? I'd like to see this. Chirac was an opportunistic, more interested by his image and his own celebrity. The first time he presented for mayor elections in his village, he was from socialist party previously but took the "right party" cap because the other guy who presented for election was socialist ("left") too, so he has to present himself as "right". he wouldn't be able to stay so long in politics if he was against deep state.
Also, saying he was against Irak war is not the whole truth. He's sent bombs on iraki civilians, isn't it? Chirac's France participated to Irak's invasion. At first he was against attacking Irak because he had financial interests in trades with this country, in the domain of providing stuff for nuclear plants (for civil use, electricity). He was initially against, not for humanistic reasons, for money!
Jean-Claude Maurice of the Journal du dimanche tells us: In 2003, the French President understood, by a phone call from his American counterpart, what prompted the latter to want to wage war on Iraq... Jacques Chirac learned this the previous month from Bush Jr. himself. A revelation received first with astonishment, then, with information taken, with horror. In this telephone conversation to convince his French counterpart to join the coalition, George Bush Jr. used a unique argument, stating that... "Gog and Magog are at work in the Middle East" and that "Bible prophecies are about to be fulfilled". Chirac incredulous opens himself to his advisors, He charges them to enlighten him more precisely on Gog and Magog. A day later, George Bush recurs, pronouncing these two mysterious names at a press conference on the "axis of evil". The Elysée urgently consulted a specialist. This is Thomas Römer, Professor of Theology at the University of Lausanne (...) His report has enough to freeze the blood. Gog, Prince of Magog, it's the apocalypse. This character appears in Genesis, and especially in two of the most obscure chapters of the Book of Ezekiel, prophecy of a world army waging the final battle against Israel. A conflict willed by God who must, overcoming Gog and Magog, destroy forever the enemies of the chosen people before a new world is born. This parable of an apocalypse announced to fulfill a prophecy worried and tormented him. He also questions religious inculturation at a time when religious foundations are much more decisive than one would like to believe in political and military decisions. […] »
"Jacques Chirac is therefore not mistaken. The American President has summarily deciphered the Scriptures: a fundamentalist Islamist world army threatens the Western world that supports Israel. The September 11 attacks on the Manhattan towers are proof of this. "They're going to set the region on fire and blood. They understand nothing and are of a filthy unculture with regard to an already complicated East. Ask them to name you an Arab poet. And to list everything that's going to happen." « You'll see: they'll fight a Pandora's war, win it quickly, but the hardest part will then begin. Sunnis and Shiites will tear each other apart. After the invasion, a civil war will cause more civilian casualties than the flash war battles. Al-Qaeda will find in Iraq a manoeuvring ground that it has been prohibited from using until now. In a year's time, we'll have to send reinforcements. And in three years' time, when 3000 GIs are dead, they will have no choice but to withdraw or send new troops. »
