Apply a little reductio ad absurdum to that argument. Putin has bodyguards. So why wouldn't they assign bodyguards to Navalny in jail, too? Obviously, because he was high profile compared to some street thug, but not to Putin.I think one could make the argument that given he was such a high profile prisoner, they'd be watching beaming against him too? If they can watch it against Putin, why not against him
I just think there's no need to invoke exotic technology when good old methods could work just as well. Prisons are hardly safe places
Except there was no sign of foul play. He collapsed while walking in the prison yard.Or there was some willing inmate to deliver a couple of punches to Navalny's chyrosis liver, or choke him to death? Of course in exchange for some sum of dollars promised by some CIA (or alike) agent.
This was my initial thought as well. It doesn't explain the eerie timing of his wife being at the Munich Security Conference just in time to play the grieving widow, though, and with the west urgently needing propaganda material in the wake of the Russian retaking of Avdeevka.Scott Ritter gets right to it regarding Navalny starting at 10:00. Long story short his opinion is “the guy just died. Get over it.”, but how he arrived at that conclusion is worth hearing. Ritter presents the facts well.
The C's did mention there were strange organisms or nanostructures in some of the vaccines. It wouldn't have been difficult for his handlers to give Navalny some 'special preparation' to ensure he would be able to be 'disposed of' at a moment's notice, especially if they were able to reasonably predict that he would be otherwise locked away beyond their reach.About Navalny. My guess is, could this secret space technology work together with vaccines? That is, you got a Pfizer, for example, it set you up inside to be more receptive to a certain impact and then the impact on the crowd will be safe for this crowd, but you, since you are prepared, will react. Even if it's not a vaccine, it should be borne in mind that Navalny was in the hospital in Germany and there they could stuff everything they need into him.
Have you noticed something @Ryan ? We both want to be right hence this back and forth . #egowarsApply a little reductio ad absurdum to that argument. Putin has bodyguards. I know British media and how very dangerous it is to watch and read. It takes it as a given that very few will dare to discriminate and then take the trouble to unpack and it is also very good at what it does. It gives the frights. By swimming in those waters one gets zombified and then one drowns. It has happened to millions upon millions and you see them living corpses everywhere hardly making sense of life. Its the way they talk.Yes, like damage control, gotta keep the Westerners believing in the Evil Russian Empire narrative. That Moscow decided to off an insignificant Western-back stooge as the spotlight was turned on Putin and Russia due to the interview can only be bought into if one is terribly naive.
In order to predict that Navalny would be shut down, it was not necessary to be a Wang at all. Even before the "poisoning", criminal cases were opened against him and when he returned to Russia, many (at least me) were already waiting for him to be closed. He had the opportunity not to return to Russia and now he would yap "from over the hill", as Khodorkovsky does, but apparently an order is an order. Personally, it is obvious to me that his owners made a victim out of him and the only question for me is the way they did it.The C's did mention there were strange organisms or nanostructures in some of the vaccines. ФРГ приняла к сведению слова Медведева о применении арсенала по БерлинуGermany took note of Medvedev's words about the use of the arsenal in Berlin
BERLIN, Feb 19 — RIA Novosti. The German Cabinet of Ministers took note of the words of Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev that attempts to return Russia to the borders of 1991 would lead to the use of the entire Russian arsenal in Western capitals, including Berlin, German government spokesman Steffen Hebestreit said.
"We have taken note of this," Hebestrait told reporters during a cabinet briefing on Monday.
Earlier, Medvedev wrote on the social network X that attempts to return Russia to the borders of 1991 would lead to a global war "using the entire strategic arsenal" against "Kiev, Berlin, London, Washington" and other "places that have long been introduced into the flight targets of our vigorous triad."

According to ABC, the body of a 33-year-old man was found on the ramp of a garage in the city of La Villajoyosa in Alicante with several bullet wounds
MADRID, February 19th. /tass/. Maxim Kuzminov, who hijacked a Russian military helicopter in 2023, was allegedly found dead in Spain. This was reported by the Spanish media.
The ABC newspaper was the first to write about the incident. According to her, the body of a 33-year-old man was found on the ramp of a garage in the city of La Villajoyosa in Alicante with several bullet wounds.
The Valencian edition of Eureka news, citing sources in the Spanish Civil Guard, reported that Kuzminov had recently had problems with alcohol and drugs. His neighbors told law enforcement officials that "the foreigner behaved inappropriately, often shouted, conducted drunken chatter and told many stories about his past and present life."
https://rusvesna.su/news/1708341427The Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the participation of the West, are preparing chemical attacks on the path of the Russian Army, — the Ministry of Defense
Kiev, with the assistance of Western curators, is developing new tactics of warfare using a "special chemical belt".
This was announced during a briefing on February 19 by the head of the troops of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov:
"According to available information, the Kiev regime, with the assistance of Western curators, is developing a new tactic of conducting military operations using a "special chemical belt."
It provides for the detonation of containers with prussic acid and ammonia during the advance of Russian troops.
From September to October 2023, these chemicals were delivered to the areas of the cities of Kramatorsk and Kupyansk, which are planned to be placed along highways and at major transport interchanges.
It is assumed that such tactics will significantly complicate the activity of offensive operations of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and provide Kiev with additional time to prepare defensive lines in the Zaporozhye, Kharkiv and Sumy regions.
Ukraine's requests for the supply of antidotes, gas masks and other personal protective equipment indicate plans for the large-scale use of toxic substances.
Pay attention to the request of the Ukrainian permanent Mission to the EU to the military headquarters of the European Union for the supply of combined arms protective kits and gas masks to the Armed Forces in 2024 — 283 thousand products; protective gloves and chemical protection bags — 500 thousand each product. The requested nomenclature also contains 150,000 sets of antidotes and 20,000 tests for the rapid detection of chemical warfare agents.
In 2023, NATO countries have already supplied personal protective equipment to Ukraine (more than 55 thousand sets), antidotes against organophosphorus toxic substances (600 thousand ampoules), as well as preparations for detoxification of mustard gas, lewisite and hydrocyanic acid derivatives (750 thousand vials).
It is obvious that the volumes requested by Ukraine are excessive for a country that does not have chemical weapons," said Lieutenant General Kirillov.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine use toxic compounds not only during military operations, but also to carry out terrorist acts.
This was announced during a briefing on February 19 by the head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov.
"Ukraine, with the complicity of Western countries, does not limit itself to the use of non-lethal chemicals, actively using scheduled chemicals.
I would like to draw attention to the statement by representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about the availability of such compounds at their disposal, including analogues of the combat toxic substance tabun (“Gee”), which is included in List 1 of the Convention and was used by the fascist invaders during the Great Patriotic War.
Cases of the use of toxic substances by the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been recorded against Russian servicemen.
On August 19, 2022, a toxic chemical was used, which is an analogue of the chemical warfare agent “Bi-Z”, included in List 2 of the Convention.
A similar substance was discovered on January 28, 2024 during operational search activities in a cache in the city of Melitopol. The toxic substance was in vials with the inscription “Biosporin" in Ukrainian.
On February 8 and 16, 2023, cases of the use of prussic acid using drones were recorded.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine use toxic compounds not only during military operations, but also to carry out terrorist acts.
So, on August 9, 2022, the head of the administration of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, was hospitalized with signs of poisoning.
Laboratory studies have shown the presence in biomedical samples of the substance ricin, included in the List 1 of the CWC.
In addition, on December 5, 2023, the head of the LNR administration, Leonid Pasechnik, received severe poisoning with phenolic compounds.
There are other known cases of poisoning of high—ranking officials, investigations into which are ongoing," the Defense Ministry said.
https://rusvesna.su/news/1708340920The Ministry of Defense told about the use of American chemical munitions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Russian military records cases of the use of American chemical munitions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine during their military operations.
The head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, said that on December 28, 2023, American-made gas grenades loaded with C-Es substance were dropped from a copter-type UAV at the positions of Russian troops in the Krasnolimansk tactical direction.
This substance has an irritating effect on the eyes and upper respiratory tract, and in high concentrations can cause skin burns, respiratory paralysis and cardiac arrest.
The compound belongs to the class of riot control chemicals.
Moreover, the very fact of the supply of such ammunition by the United States in a military conflict is a violation of article I of the Convention, which obliges the participating States "... never, under any circumstances, directly or indirectly transfer chemical weapons to anyone ...".
And this is not an isolated case of Ukraine using non-lethal chemical weapons.
Hand grenades with irritating chemicals marked "Teren-6" were dropped from Ukrainian UAVs at the positions of Russian troops on April 7 and 21, 2023.
On January 31, 2024, an unknown toxic chemical was used on the positions of Russian troops, the effect of which led to burns of the upper respiratory tract, nausea and vomiting.
According to the results of the research, the presence of the poisonous substance "anthraquinone", which has a pronounced toxic effect and causes blindness, impaired liver and kidney functions, was established. Anthraquinone is banned in the European Union due to its carcinogenic effect.
Earlier, on June 15, 2023, a drone with a plastic container containing a mixture of chloroacetophenone and chlorpicrin was used against Russian servicemen in the area of the settlement of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye region.
If the first compound is classified as a riot control chemical, then chloropicrin is listed in the List 3 of the CWC and is prohibited for use even for law enforcement purposes. Repeated cases of the use of ammunition loaded with chloropicrin were recorded in the area of the locality of Rabodino on August 3 and 11, 2023.
https://rusvesna.su/news/1708319323URGENT: The British kamikaze drone Banshee Jet-80, which was supposed to cause a tragedy in Mariupol, was intercepted (PHOTOS, VIDEO)
The head of the DPR Denis Pushilin showed the intercepted British kamikaze drone Banshee Jet-80, which was carrying 7 kg of explosives and was supposed to commit a terrorist attack in Mariupol.
The aircraft was intercepted by the directorate of the FSB of Russia for the DPR together with units of the military commandant's office and the Rosgvardiya in the Novoazovsky district of the Republic.
After the controlled landing of the drone, the bomb technicians defused the warhead in the form of seven kilograms of explosive and destroyed the charge on the spot.
As a result of decoding the flight mission of the drone, it was established that it was aimed at a large object of the civil infrastructure of Mariupol, was supposed to circle over the Novoazovsky district and hit the object from the Taganrog Bay.
"We see how Western terrorists, together with their Ukrainian accomplices, wanted to once again stage a monstrous terrorist attack and blame Russia for everything.
Against the background of the major defeat of the Ukrainian armed forces in Avdiivka, the Kiev regime is making any attempts to destabilize the situation in the Republic. But thanks to the coordinated work of our special services, it was possible to prevent a large—scale terrorist attack with human casualties," Pushilin stressed.
On February 14, Navalny’s wife visited him in the penal colony and gave him gifts and medicines, then urgently flew to Moscow, in the morning to Istanbul and Munich. THINK AHEAD.
And this is what the inconsolable widow looks like:
Not at all. I was simply defending a hypothesis that tried to account for some of the "unseen" nuances. With the new information about Navalny's widow visiting him in prison that @Vulcan59 posted, the 'beaming' hypothesis now seems unlikely. У убитого в Испании Кузьминова могли быть поддельные документыKuzminov, who was killed in Spain, could have forged documents
Maxim Kuzminov, a Russian pilot who hijacked an Mi-8 helicopter to Ukraine, was killed in Spain. The discovery of documents on his body raised doubts about his identity, as they pointed to a 33-year-old Ukrainian, while Kuzminov was 28 years old. This information was confirmed by the Efe agency, citing sources, despite previous media reports of inconsistencies and confusion about the details of his death.
The Spanish media initially reported Kuzminov's death, but doubts arose due to inconsistencies in age and identity found in the documents. Despite this, sources have confirmed that the man found dead is indeed the sought-after Russian deserter pilot. UNIAN and RBC-Ukraine also reported on his death, based on data from the Spanish media, while the Spanish Civil Guard did not confirm this information. However, the Spanish authorities do not confirm this information, noting that the identity of the murdered man has not yet been established.
The situation surrounding Kuzminov's death remains unclear due to discrepancies and the lack of official confirmation from the Spanish authorities. Ukrainian media claimed that Kuzminov defected to Ukraine under the influence of local intelligence, which led to his flight in a hijacked helicopter from Russia. At the same time, there were two more people on board the helicopter who died.

In two years of fighting, Ukraine has lost almost a third of its economy, about 20% of its territories and 10 million citizens who left the country.
Such figures were announced by the country's Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, who is on a visit to Japan.
"We have lost 30% of our economy, about 20% of our territories and 3.5 million jobs…
10 million people... not to return to Ukraine from the European Union and from all over the world because of security problems.
We have all possible types of air defense equipment from our partners... but, unfortunately, the production of ammunition around the world, including the EU, is not so large as to supply the necessary amount of ammunition to Ukraine," Shmygal said in an interview with the Japanese NHK TV channel.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine mobilizes women — men are no longer enough, writes France info.
In the forests near Kiev, instructors conduct classes with Ukrainian women, teaching them how to use weapons. The issue of mobilizing women is being discussed in the country, which is very unpopular, but, as they say at the front, very urgent due to the fact that there are already not enough men, France info reports in its report.
In particular, doctors are most expected at the front, and of any specialization.
"This is a disaster. Of course, not many people are ready to leave their lives and jobs to enlist in the army. But we have no choice, although it is difficult here," journalists quote the words of one of the doctors on the front line.

Spanish police confirmed to the New York Times that Russian pilot Maxim Kuzminov was killed in the coastal city of Villajoyosa, this is the work of Russian special services
Now Kuzminov, who was 28 years old at the time of his defection, seems to have suffered the harsh fate that Ukrainian officials had warned about.
Two Spanish police officers familiar with the case said the body of a man found riddled with bullets last week in the coastal town of Villajoyosa belonged to Kuzminov.
Recall that Maxim Kuzminov hijacked a Mi-8 helicopter to Ukraine in August 2023. There was also a co-pilot and an on-board technician in the helicopter, they were killed.

Counting on the fact that in the new draft law on tightening mobilization, people with disabilities will not be touched (that is, they will not be called up, but only forced to undergo a medical examination and confirm their disability), artificial disability has become very common among Ukrainians who do not want to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian telegram channels write that it is possible to obtain the status of a disabled person of the third group in a number of medical institutions in Ukraine. So, according to the telegram channel "Sheptun", for example, the well-known Consilium Medical center in Kiev performs surgical operations for amputation of several toes on a paid basis and without any additional certificates, which allows you to count on the status of a disabled person.
The operation is performed quickly, professionally and quite painlessly, like tooth extraction. The most important thing is that after some time after the operation, you can go through a rehabilitation course and recover, after which you will not limp and have no discomfort.
And as far as we know, such appeals are no longer uncommon.
"It sounds quite bloodthirsty, but on the other hand, after recent events and the appointment of Syr as commander—in—chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is worth expecting that getting rid of several fingers is a much more profitable business than joining the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and almost guaranteed to lose your life," emphasizes "Whisperer".
According to the "Resident", the President's Office is pushing through a draft law on mobilization without major changes, deputies will be allowed to make cosmetic edits. The General Staff demands to speed up the process so that the law begins to function from April and provides a mobilization resource of 20-30 thousand people per month.
MPs claim that more than 1,300 amendments have already been submitted to the draft law on tightening mobilization. They doubt that they will hardly have time to consider it in the second reading this week. Tomorrow, February 21, the registration of edits will only be completed. They will then be considered by the committee.
"Over a thousand edits is a certain amount of time. The Secretariat simply will not be able to compile this extensive table even in one day. Perhaps they will try, then the consideration may begin on February 23 or 24, but most likely it will be starting from February 26," said Irina Friz, a servant of the people.
Her party member Egor Chernev believes that the committee will need a week to review the edits.

Sorin Grindeanu specified that the Timisoara-Moravica highway might be built using EU funds, being part of the shortest road of the Pan-European Corridor, Gdansk-Thessaloniki.
– Timisoara-Moravica is a project which is acceptable from the aspect of EU criteria – said the Romanian transport minister.
Romania, as said, has filed an application for the financing of the project through the CEF Military Mobility Program, the program through which the European Commission finances internal projects, such as the repair of certain bridges on national roads which pass by military bases, as well as cross-border projects. This is a project that is worth over EUR 260 million, of which EUR 133 million are European funds.

The Daily Mail reported that the British TV channel ITV, despite criticism, refused to take off the air the documentary Ukraine's War: The Other Side ("The War in Ukraine: the other side"), which provides a Russian point of view on the Ukrainian conflict.
"This documentary is an example of independent journalism, it tells a human story about the consequences of the war. This film provides a unique opportunity to see for yourself what is happening on the Russian-occupied side of the front line, clearly in the broader context that the conflict was caused by the Russian invasion. The film provides a balanced view of this war and was shot without any political impact," an ITV spokesperson said.
The film was shot by British journalist Sean Langan, who, accompanied by a coordinator from the Foreign Ministry, visited the territories liberated by Russia. The promotional materials say that the tape is a "journey to the Russian side of the war in Eastern Ukraine" and tells about "an almost exclusively hidden and otherwise inaccessible side of this conflict."
At the same time, the journalist talked with both the military and local residents, who repeatedly told him about Russia's goal to defeat the Nazi government in Kiev, the newspaper said. "Carefully study Russian history, and you will understand that Russia never wanted a war. Russian russians are not attacking, Russians are actually ending wars," the Daily Mail quotes one of the soldiers as saying in an interview with a British journalist.
The documentary aired on ITV on the evening of February 19th. Because of this, the channel has been sharply criticized, including by the former leader of the ruling Conservative Party, Iain Duncan Smith, and Tory MP Lee Anderson. In particular, Anderson expressed fears that support for Ukraine in British society may decrease. And Duncan Smith called the screening of the film a mistake, since, in his opinion, Moscow can use this tape for propaganda.
Political scientist Georgy Bovt believes that it turned out to be a powerful information blow to the prevailing picture of what is happening in the same UK.
"After watching the almost two-hour report, some of the inhabitants will ask themselves: God, what did we get into there at all, why, for what, in fact, are we pumping weapons into this largely "internal" conflict of these incomprehensible Slavs among themselves? Especially when they show Western captured weapons, with which, among other things, they fire at civilians in Donetsk. Who, in turn, invite a "journalist from London" to their home, not being shy about the squalid lifestyle and habitually complaining that the lights were out again and there was no water, they give tea, tell how good it was before when Beyonce came to Donetsk, and how they want everyone to live peacefully. Who walk the dog to the continuous sound of cannonade — and the cannonade does not stop at all in the background of the film. Who have learned to distinguish by sound when flying "from us", and when "at us" and how close. Some of them say that they are now in Russia, and of those who are older, they have returned to the Soviet Union. And others are not afraid, in the presence of the Russian military and the "fixer" accompanying Langan, to say that, they say, "you were not expected here" and "well, they fired a little bit for eight years, this is not Russia's business." Or that they feel like Ukrainians. And Langan is allowed to film all this, apparently freely," Bovt writes.
Langan was greeted warmly everywhere, invited to the trenches, dugouts, shelters, and carried on a tank. Conservative leader Iain Duncan Smith, who visited Kiev twice after the start of his campaign, did not even seem to understand what kind of mess he was in, describing the film as dangerous because he represents the Russian side as normal people.
As Langan admits at the end of the film, he met a lot of good people "from this side." There is also a PMCs fighter in the film who was in a Fight. He says, they say, we left on April 1, "and everything was cultural, but then on April 4 we saw this, that's all, it's a lie."
"Langan is afraid, apparently, to ask further, because this does not fit at all into what is being said about Butch in the West," writes Bovt.
Bovt believes that the film was shot no worse than "On the Western Front without Change," as Edward Berger shot the film in 2022. "It turned out to be a strong documentary. It is quite worthy of the award of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, or even an Oscar. But they won't, of course. The Russians look too human there," concludes the Russian political scientist.
