We don't have a branch about Georgia, so I'll emboss it here. Moreover, there are processes plus or minus parallel to the Ukrainian ones. Specifically, the local parliament tried to adopt a law on foreign agents, i.e. some part of the country's authorities tried to take the country out from under external influence and here is the result. The second day there is a Maidan, a copy of Kiev. It is interesting that the president of the country supports the protesters, but it is understandable - she is just one of those with whom the adopted law is designed to fight.
In my opinion, all this is very indicative of everyone else: the Balts, Moldovans, the same Poles, etc.; how firmly you are kept under control. And the unfortunate Ukrainians are dying right now for some kind of mythical freedom.
Large-scale protests in Georgia resulted in throwing Molotov cocktails at security forces and storming the parliament
Large-scale protests continue for the second night in Georgia.
After the Georgian parliament tried to pass a bill on foreign agents, waves of large-scale protests swept across the territory of Georgia. After the protesters failed to achieve any success at the parliament building on the first night, an attempt was made to storm the Georgian government building on the second night, and various objects began to fly at the security forces - stones, bottles and Molotov cocktails.
On the presented video footage, you can see that real chaos reigns on the streets of Tbilisi, and, apparently, the originally planned protests as a peaceful action immediately turned into clashes with the police – the latter began to use force, and the radicals began throwing stones and molotov cocktails at the police, smashing shop windows and police cars.
Initially, the attempt to disperse the protesters by the security forces was successful, however, literally within half an hour, the police and special forces already had to retreat, as the radicals began to use homemade weapons more and more actively, which created a threat to the lives of law enforcement officials.
