The Kiev regime must be destroyed, — Medvedev (VIDEO)

Commenting on today's attempted attack on Belgorod, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said during a meeting with the military that the Kiev regime should be destroyed.

It is clear to everyone that this is absolutely a terrorist attack, this is not a military battle, not military actions, it (attack — approx. RV) does not fit into any rules of warfare.

What purpose can such an attack pursue? Cause damage to the civilian population. And that's all. Because those weapons of destruction, those unmanned aerial vehicles, they cannot cause damage to either military facilities or public administration facilities. So, the goal is simple — to cause damage to the civilian population.

This is a terrorist act, and there is no other way to qualify it. As you know, any state does not negotiate with terrorists, terrorists need to be destroyed.

And the fact that our opponent is already behaving like a terrorist characterizes both the Ukrainian regime and those behind it in a certain way. First of all, the Americans and the Europeans, who are essentially on the warpath with us.

And it is necessary to respond to terrorist acts as harshly as possible. This counter—terrorism struggle is, in fact, what a special military operation has already become to a large extent. Because we are fighting terrorists who are killing our people.

The answer is clear: they must be destroyed.

And not only in a personal capacity — it is necessary to destroy the hornet's nest itself, this regime that has developed in Ukraine, it is subject to extermination, it must be destroyed. Otherwise, there will be a constant threat coming from there. And we will have to constantly carry out the operation, which has been carried out for more than a year. There should be no doubt about it," he concluded.

The head of state noted that during the special military operation Russia is defending "its land, people and values," therefore, it will definitely emerge victorious
MOSCOW, June 1. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has no doubt that Russia will win in Ukraine and become a guarantor of peace and security for all nations.

A representative of one of the exceptionally large families expressed confidence in Russia’s victory during a meeting with the president on International Children’s Day. "I know that victory will always be ours. We will win, unequivocally, there is no other way. And I think that our country in the end will be a guarantor of peace and security for all peoples, for all countries in the world," said the father of a family with multiple children awarded with the Order of Paternal Glory.

"That’s right. It will be just as you said. There is absolutely no doubt," Putin concurred.

The head of state noted that during the special military operation Russia is defending "its land, people and values," therefore, it will definitely emerge victorious. "There is no doubt, it goes without saying," he reiterated

Putin pointed out that the serviceman had the opportunity to leave the special military operation zone but he decided to stay and now, after receiving medical treatment, wants to return to combat. Having found out that the man was indeed ready to continue serving once he is healthy, the president said "Grigory Alexandrovich, it seems to me that you have already done what you could. I checked, you have a good education and area of specialization. If you want to stay in the Defense Ministry system, we can easily do it, without a doubt," the Russian leader said.

He noted that the man had a large family and there was no need for him to return directly to the zone of the special military operation. "Let me give instructions on the matter to the minister. We will easily fulfill any request of yours, you can be sure of that. And I simply want to thank you for everything you’re doing, not just for your own family but for the whole country, defending its interests," Putin concluded.

The Russian military continues its effective massive precision strikes on the military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). In the last days of May, Moscow officials revealed the interim results of the ongoing military operations and explained the true reason behind the recent Kiev’s attempts to launch attacks on the Russian territory which have no military goals but aimed at hiding Ukrainian losses from the public.

Commenting on today’s attack by Ukrainian UAVs in Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed that two days ago Russian forces struck at the headquarters of the military intelligence of Ukraine (GUR). In response, Kiev targeted Russian civilians in Moscow.

“In response, as you know, the Kiev regime has chosen a different path. The path of attempts to intimidate Russia, intimidate Russian citizens and attacks on residential buildings,” the president said.

This is a clear sign of terrorist activity, he added. According to Putin, the recent drone attacks are “attempts to provoke” a response from Moscow, Kiev provokes it “to tit-for-tat response.”

The strike on the headquarters of the GUR are confirmed by the footage from Kiev. Traffic was blocked on the Havana Bridge which links Rybalsky Island, where the intelligence headquarters is located, with Podol. The day before, the Russian strike was reported in the area but Ukrainian officials did not confirm it.

Meanwhile, Russian Defence Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu held the conference with the leadership of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. He assumed the results of the military operation in Ukraine in MAY, 2023. The most important claims included:
  • The Russian military hit another Patriot air defense system in Kiev;
  • Over the past month, the AFU lost over 16 thousand servicemen, 16 aircraft, five helicopters, 466 UAVs and more than 400 tanks;
  • Russian troops intercepted 29 Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles in a month;
  • In addition, 196 HIMARS rockets, 16 HARM missiles were intercepted;
  • “Western curators” demand from Kiev to launch a counteroffensive, despite the heavy losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
  • The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are tracking the ways of supply of Western weapons to Ukraine and are striking at them;
  • Large Western arms depots in Khmelnitsky, Ternopol, and Mykolaiv were destroyed in recent days.
The US Department of Defense has reached an agreement with billionaire Elon Musk's SpaceX company on the purchase of terminals of the Starlink satellite communication system for Ukraine and on the guarantee of their operation -

BloombergGwynn Shotwell, president and chief operating officer of SpaceX, told an industry conference in Washington in February that Starlink was being used in an unintentional way that the company has since tried to shut down.

📝 "It was never meant to be a weapon," she said. The Ukrainians "used it unintentionally" and went beyond communications for the army. She cited reports that "they used our technology for drones.

"It turns out that Musk is aware of the use of his stations, but has signed a supply contract.

The situation is similar to long-range weapons, which (according to the United States) "should not hit Russia", but nevertheless, Ukrainian DRGs entered the Belgorod region with Western equipment🤦‍♂️

Isn't it ridiculous! I shared it on Facebook and they sent me a "slap on the hand" kind of message that informed that my posts may be moved down in the feed if I keep sending false information!

So I clicked on their fact checking and it sent me to a site in Russian.... I put it through translate and discovered this explanation below.

It was soooo very helpful to feel protected from making the terrible mistake of maybe thinking this "Courrier International" (which I never heard of before and don't even care about) was not the originator of this funny cartoon! (sarcasm) :-D
The cartoon circulated on behalf of Courrier International is a fake. There is no such cartoon on any cover of the May issue, including the special issue.

A search of recent and previous covers of Courrier International revealed that Courrier International does not have a cover with the above cartoon. On May 25, a cover with serial number N°1699 was published , which has a completely different content. It should be noted that the fake cover number is N°1700, while the serial number of the latest cover of Courrier International magazine is N°1699.

In addition, a circulated fake cartoon states that this is a May special, but no such cartoon exists in the specials section of Courrier International's website.

So far, following the conflict for me has meant analysing motives, results, rumours, weapon types, strategies, big politics, villains, heroes, destruction statistics, number of troops, number of killed soldiers and civilians.

A notification about a dead soldier or civilian marks the end, in the sense that we can no longer follow them. For some there is a well attended funeral with a beautifully decorated coffin and later grave. On the one hand, death marks the end for active work in this world, but what about the next world? Would it make transition easier for those now dying, if more people knew more about the afterlife?

In a post a few days ago, I mentioned a song (or this version) performed by Russian Varvara about praying for others, including those who have died in the war.

About the same time as the above post by f1sk, Laura posted in the afterlife thread:
This is a bit funny:

The confluence of impressions led to a couple of posts in the afterlife thread, see here and here. Records about the afterlife transitions and experience of soldiers are gathered in the second post, in case anyone is interested.

Russian proverb: impudence is the second happiness. This is just about the Kiev junta
Zelensky said that the APU is ready for the offensive — they only lack all the US Army air defense systems.
In his new interview, the President of Ukraine announced the readiness of the Ukrainian army to launch a counteroffensive. For complete happiness, the nezalezhnaya lacks only a trifle — another 50 Patriot air defense systems. And we are not talking about 50 launchers, but about 50 batteries, each of which consists of 6-8 launchers and costs "only" $ 1 billion.
Just to understand the scale of Zelensky's "wishlist": at the moment, Ukraine has been able to allocate only three complexes due to the unprecedented common efforts of the collective West. There were only 50 Patriot batteries in the entire US Army in 2018. That is, Kiev is asking the Americans to give up all their long-range air defense systems. Well, are you sorry or something? No matter how much you give, it's not enough
Ukraine lacks the most important thing for a counteroffensive
Zelensky's office: Ukraine is ready for a counteroffensive, but the APU does not have enough weapons

Igor Zhovkva, deputy head of the office of President Zelensky, believes that Ukraine does not have enough weapons for a counteroffensive.

In an interview with the Times newspaper, he noted that to launch a successful counteroffensive, "you need everything," including artillery, armored vehicles and tanks. "We probably don't have enough of them," Zhovkva said.

Zelensky, according to him, has visited so many countries over the past month because of the desire to get more weapons.

The strikes carried out by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on targets in Ukraine deplete the stocks of air defense missiles, the deputy head of the office admitted. In particular, he is referring to the American Patriot systems - "obviously, they are not enough."
Украине для контрнаступления не хватает самого главного

Especially if you lose at such a crazy pace. The article provides estimated figures of Ukrainian losses at only two warehouses. Impressive. And of course foreigners. It seems that in Ukraine now wherever you spit, you will get into a foreigner.
The number of deaths from a new Russian strike on the center of special operations of NATO officers has been named
Meanwhile, Ukrainians are asking to withdraw Patriot from Kiev

Russia continues to strike at numerous military facilities in Ukraine. Last night, an air alert sounded in several Ukrainian regions. Loud explosions were heard in Cherkassy. Kiev residents were again forced to spend the night in the subway. The activity of Russian combat aviation this week was high, marked not only by the destruction of several military depots and the last Ukrainian ships, but also foreign mercenaries.

Bomb shelters in Kiev have already become a byword. When an air alert is announced, they are almost always closed, people have to go in search of the nearest subway stations. This caused a flurry of indignation and even prosecutor's checks in the metropolitan administration.

News about closed bomb shelters, near which people left without shelter are dying, even reached President Vladimir Zelensky, who was absent in Ukraine, who during the summit in Moldova promised a "knockout" to local authorities (in particular, Kiev Mayor Klitschko) who leave bomb shelters closed. Of course, he took responsibility from himself in this way.

Zelensky's words with obvious threats against Klitschko did not lead to the desired results. The eloquent Kiev head admitted his guilt and did not refuse responsibility. At the same time, he noted that he could not do anything about it, since it directly depends on the heads of districts, which Klitschko cannot influence. And the heads of the districts rent shelters for warehouses, while the owners of the goods, of course, care more about their property than about the safety of the people of Kiev. Therefore, they hang strong locks…

Meanwhile, Kiev residents were once again content to spend the night on the floor of metro stations, while some of the bomb shelters were locked. "Klitschko, how much can you mock? Open a bomb shelter, or we, like homeless people, will live in the subway!" writes an outraged Kiev resident in one of the city's Telegram chats.

It is noteworthy that the next strikes on Ukrainian facilities have again shown that the representatives of the Kiev authorities not only disagree with the word, but also these cases completely contradict the wishes of the population. While Zelensky continues to demand supplies of Patriot air defense systems from the West, numerous complaints have appeared in Ukraine about the operation of these air defense systems.

One Kiev woman in a video message after a night of shelling demanded to withdraw the notorious Western air defense system from Kiev, because its work interferes with sleeping at night. "Can this Patriot be taken to Western Ukraine? Nothing personal, just to get some sleep," she said.

Another Ukrainian woman wrote the following in the comments to the video: "PPO (as they call air defense in Ukraine) is scary. When drones fly, I run into the corridor with my child, and not because I'm afraid of drones, but because the PPO, protecting us, will shoot in all directions." By the way, in Kiev, this time, the Patriot rocket that did not detonate was bombed and flew directly into a residential building.

As you know, Russian troops are striking not only at Ukrainian armed formations and their weapons: over the past week, several large military depots were hit, which could have caused a mini-earthquake felt by Ukrainians in different regions.

On May 31, an air raid in the Gulyai-Pole area of the Zaporozhye region destroyed a $10 billion APU warehouse, where imported ammunition and weapons that were to be used for the offensive were stored for months. At the same time, Russian cruise missiles worked on the largest AFU facility in Khmelnitsky — the 7th Aviation Brigade. A day earlier, a powerful explosion eliminated a large ammunition depot for Ukrainian tactical aviation in the Zhytomyr region.

The telegram channel "Image of the Future" reported serious losses of the Ukrainian army in the Odessa area. Missile strikes on the port of Odessa led to the destruction of dozens of Western weapons, including two HIMARS. The fire also burned 14 armored vehicles and 34 pickup trucks. In total, more than one billion dollars worth of military equipment was lost.

However, the most interesting thing that the channel reported was a direct hit on the special naval operations control center, where 98 people were: 22 British military intelligence officers, 8 BND (German special service) employees, 4 Pentagon representatives and two French Air Force officers were killed. The rest of the foreigners are wounded.

It is reported that they were promptly transported through Chisinau airport to Poland, Germany and Switzerland. This is confirmed, in particular, by the data of Flightradar24, which recorded the activity of Polish aircraft flying from Ukraine to Moldova and Germany. It is not excluded that military aircraft can bring weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, and bring back the bodies of dead and wounded foreigners.

On the night of July 2, explosions were heard in Cherkasy near the city. Probably, this time the attacks were on warehouses. On the eve of the ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleg Tsarev told in detail and even showed on the map the locations of three important objects at once, on which the Russian Aerospace Forces could "work".

According to Tsarev, a warehouse of aviation ammunition for Soviet combat aircraft is located near Cherkassy. There is also an active military airfield there, where part of the remaining Ukrainian aviation is located. In addition, Cherkassy itself has a storage base for petroleum products, which was once beaten by Russian pilots. It is possible that one of the strikes last night touched the infrastructure again. It is known that after the shelling, water disappeared throughout the city due to an accident at a thermal power plant.

In this post, there are three copy and paste articles, except photos. In March Putin's staff was asked to not use iPhones, then on June 1, it was revealed the US has spied on diplomats in Russia via iPhone, and now on June 3 it has been reported that China has taken notice.

Putin’s staff to ditch iPhones – Kommersant
Officials in the Russian president’s office were reportedly told to get rid of their Apple devices over cybersecurity concerns

Members of the Russian presidential administration whose jobs focus on domestic policy have been instructed to discard their iPhones by the end of March, the business daily Kommersant reported on Monday. The decision was made due to the risk of Western espionage, the outlet said.

Russian officials will have to “throw away or give to their kids” their devices running the iOS operating system, according to how one source summarized a discussion during a seminar in early March.

Kommersant sources say the final say on the matter and the deadline came directly from Deputy Chief of Staff Sergey Kirienko, who supervises several departments in the presidential office in charge of various aspects of domestic policy. The ban will also affect officials who liaise with regional governments on behalf of the administration, the newspaper reported.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declined to either confirm or deny the report, but stressed that officials are not allowed to use smartphones “for work purposes” anyway. Any such device, regardless of its operating system, is too exposed to handle classified information, he said.

Apple prides itself on the increased security achieved due to the strict limitations on what users can do with its products and what programs can run on them. However, the brand’s popularity has also made the devices the target of extensive research into how to hack them.
https://www.rt.com/news/573123-new-zealand-china-tiktok/
Some advanced cyberwarfare tools, such as the infamous Israeli Pegasus software, allegedly allow Apple gadgets to be breached without the need for users to be tricked, unlike less sophisticated malware. The Russian ban is reportedly motivated by exactly that consideration, according to Kommersant.

The administration’s employees were told to switch to phones running the Android operating system, Chinese software, or the Russian Aurora system, a source told the newspaper. The domestic system has been in development since 2016 and derives from the Linux-based Sailfish operating system.

Cybersecurity expert Natalya Kaspersky remarked that smartphones “are designed as spy devices” that collect and store information that can be transferred elsewhere. But using electronics less familiar to potential attackers would improve users’ safety, she added.

“The more Russian components a device has, the smaller the risk that information would be leaked to hostile states. In that regard, a domestic OS would be advantageous to a foreign one,” Kaspersky said.

Western states are currently conducting a crackdown on TikTok, a popular video-sharing service owned by a Chinese company. Over the past several weeks, government agencies in several US-allied nations have banned the app from being installed on employees’ devices over alleged cybersecurity risks.

RT carried this story on June 1 which might explain a couple of hits in the UA conflict:

CIA hacked iPhones of diplomats in Russia – FSB
Russian security officials claim to have uncovered a major surveillance operation exploiting Apple devices

The CIA installed malware on thousands of Apple phones used by Russian citizens and foreign diplomats working in the country, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has claimed.

The FSB said on Thursday that a joint operation with the Federal Guard Service (FSO) had “uncover[ed] a surveillance operation by American intelligence agencies, carried out with the use of Apple’s mobile devices.”

An assessment of Russia’s telecom infrastructure revealed “anomalies” in the operations of some iPhones, caused by “a previously unknown malicious program that uses software vulnerabilities provided by the manufacturer,” a statement by the agency read.

Several thousand phones made by Apple were infected with the malware, according to the FSB.

Not only Russian citizens were targeted, but also “foreign phone numbers and subscribers that use SIM cards registered with diplomatic missions and embassies inside Russia, including countries from the NATO bloc and the post-Soviet space, as well Israel, Syria and China,” the agency said.
https://www.rt.com/russia/573269-russian-officials-apple-devices/
The discovery is more proof of the close cooperation between Apple and the US intelligence community, the FSB claimed, adding that “the declared policy of ensuring the privacy of personal data of Apple users has nothing to do with reality.”

The FSB also accused Apple of “providing the American intelligence services with a wide range of opportunities to survey any persons of interest to the White House, including their partners in anti-Russian activities, as well as their own citizens.”

In March, the Kommersant newspaper reported that members of the Russian presidential administration had been told to discard their iPhones. According to the paper, the step was taken due to concerns that advanced cyberwarfare tools, such as the Israeli Pegasus software, could allow Apple gadgets to be breached, despite the producer’s claims of their enhanced security features.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declined to comment on the report, but noted that Russian officials were in any case barred from using smartphones “for work purposes” due to the potential vulnerability of devices.
And today:

China reacts to Russia’s accusations of US spying
Moscow’s Federal Security Service (FSB) earlier said it had uncovered a major American surveillance operation exploiting Apple devices
[...]
The Chinese Foreign Ministry has expressed concern over Moscow’s revelation that US intelligence agencies hacked iPhones to spy on foreign diplomats working in Russia, including those from Beijing.

The ministry claimed that the US has long relied on its technological advantages to indiscriminately carry out international surveillance operations. “This calls for heightened vigilance from all countries everywhere in the world,” it stressed, when asked to comment on the issue by Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency.

On Thursday, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) said several thousand iPhones that had been used in Russia were found to have been infected with malware that allowed US intelligence agencies to spy on users of the devices.

Among those affected were “foreign phone numbers and subscribers that use SIM cards registered with diplomatic missions and embassies inside Russia, including countries from the NATO bloc and the post-Soviet space, as well Israel, Syria and China,” the agency said.

The malicious program exploited vulnerabilities that were deliberately created in the system by Apple, the FSB stressed. It accused the US tech giant of “providing the American intelligence services with a wide range of opportunities to survey any persons of interest to the White House, including their partners in anti-Russian activities, as well as their own citizens.”
This is what the EU-US hysteria over Russia and China spying means; they are themselves deep into it.

Although the news is not about Ukraine, but the sign is from there and it works in a targeted way.
Guardian: Serbs in northern Kosovo have started using the letter Z as a sign of resistance to NATO

MOSCOW, June 4 — RIA Novosti. The Serbian population in northern Kosovo began using one of the symbols of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, the letter Z, as a sign of protest against NATO, putting it on the armored vehicles of the alliance, the British newspaper The Guardian reported.
The protests in the north of Kosovo began due to the demands of local Serbs to recall the Kosovo Albanian heads of municipalities elected on April 23 with the boycott of the Serbian majority.

Thousands of Serbs protested in front of the buildings of Zvecan and Leposavic municipalities, but the KFOR NATO contingent surrounded the buildings of self-government with rows of barbed wire in advance.
"
"Serbian protesters in Zvecan used tear gas and stun grenades against NATO soldiers. The Serbs also clashed with the police in Zvecan and painted NATO cars with the letter Z, which is a reference to the Russian sign used during the operation in Ukraine," the newspaper writes.
Later, the German newspaper Bild published a photo of NATO soldiers resting in front of the Zvecan municipality building, on the wall of which the letter Z was also applied.
"The fact is that among the protesting Serbs there are many who support Putin," the publication says.
Another round of tension in Kosovo and Metohija was provoked by Pristina's attempt to appoint new mayors of Northern Kosovska-Mitrovica, Zvecan, Zubin Potok and Leposavich. At the end of April, elections were held there, which the Serbs, mainly living in these areas, massively ignored. And although the turnout did not reach even four percent, the elections were recognized as having taken place, and the candidates from the Albanian parties won them.

Deputy Zatulin said about the "lost meaning" of some of the goals of the special operation.

Moscow has not yet achieved the stated goals of the special operation, according to State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin. Some of them, in his opinion, have already "lost their meaning"

Russia did not achieve its stated goals during the special military operation, the initial action plan was unrealistic, said Konstantin Zatulin, a State Duma deputy from the United Russia faction, first deputy chairman of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots at the foresight forum "What kind of Ukraine do we need?".

"What were our goals officially stated at the beginning of the military operation? You all remember — denazification, demilitarization, the neutrality of Ukraine and the protection of the residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, who have suffered all this time. On which of these points have we achieved results to date? Not one at a time. Moreover, some of them have ceased to make any sense...", — he says.

"We have not yet demonstrated such victorious results, which we would like to take credit for ourselves. <...> A number of issues that have not been resolved — they are still, unfortunately, not resolved when it comes to the transition to military rails," the deputy stressed.

He noted that having included the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions into Russia, "we never entered the city of Zaporozhye, and we left the city of Kherson." Zatulin calls the discussion of the planned offensive of the Ukrainian side and its failure "forced logic", and not "logic of victory".

"When the conversation turns to the logic of this special military operation. You understand that it consisted in the fact — if I understand correctly, I have not read these plans — it consisted in the fact that quite quickly, after our forceful action, the Ukrainian state is falling apart, and without special sacrifices it is possible to achieve what has not been achieved for eight years while trying to implement The Minsk Agreements. Unfortunately, this plan fell through. He was just basically unreal. I don't want to settle accounts with the people who formulated it in this way, but in any case, it is obvious to everyone that it did not take place. So now we have to move on to another plan. It should be. And we are essentially going to him by turnout," he said.

The politician believes that it is necessary to move forward, now Moscow cannot afford a cease-fire, which is called for by countries offering plans for a peaceful settlement of the conflict, because it will be "the defeat of the idea, the plan that was at the very beginning."

"If we have already decided to include these territories in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, well, it will simply mean that we have not fulfilled our own decision. And even if we reach the borders of the Kherson, Zaporozhye, Donetsk, Lugansk regions — will this be enough for us? Can we be calm with the remaining Ukraine after that? No, of course not," he said.

According to Zatulin, some of the stated goals of the special operation have lost their meaning, in particular, the neutrality of Ukraine, which cannot be achieved if the state continues to exist. At the same time, the politician believes that Ukraine will remain in existence, because "there are not enough forces to overcome this, with the support that they receive."

Zatulin added that Moscow has two paths, the first of which is the "path of the Ministry of Defense reports", which refers to the destruction of the Ukrainian military. The deputy believes that this increases resistance on the battlefield. "We're killing ourselves, we understand, right? Since we say that this is one people with us. So, we need to offer another way. <...> smart propaganda, correct behavior, better attitude to those who found themselves on our territory," he explained.

Saboteurs fighting in Russia’s Belgorod Region – governor

"The governor of Russia’s Belgorod Region, Viacheslav Gladkov, said on Sunday that a sabotage group from Ukraine has entered a local settlement and is currently engaged in fighting with the Russian forces. The attack was repulsed, the Russian Defense Ministry said."

"In a video address, Gladkov responded to Denis Nikitin, the leader of the Russian Volunteer Corps, a neo-Nazi group of Russian nationals fighting on Kiev's side. In his video, the governor stated that a battle with the corps detachment was currently raging in Belgorod Region, and that he hoped that all members of the group would be killed."

“I saw the appeal of scoundrels, bastards, murderers and fascists who allegedly want to meet with me, offering a conversation in exchange for prisoners. In fact, a group of sabouteurs went in, there is a battle in Novaya Tavolzhanka. I hope that they will all be destroyed, it cannot be otherwise. Every day civilians die at the hands of these fascists, we bury them every day. Crippled children and dead old people – that's their handiwork,” he said."

Belgorod Region governor says ready to meet with saboteurs to save prisoners

MOSCOW, June 4. /TASS/. "Governor of Russia’s Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Sunday he is ready to meet with Ukrainian saboteurs at the Shebekino checkpoint for the sake of saving Russian prisoners of war, if they are still alive."

"I am grieved to say but most probably, they have killed them (prisoners - TASS). But is they are alive, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shebekino checkpoint. I guarantee security," he said in a video address posted on his Telegram channel."

"According to Gladkov, sabotage and reconnaissance groups infiltrated the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Belgorod Region; fighting is underway."

"On Sunday, the Russian Volunteer Corps (listed in Russia as an organization involved in extremism and terrorism) posted an address to Gladkov on its Telegram channel inviting him to meet at a church in Novaya Tavolzhanka to discuss the situation in the region. The video demonstrated prisoners whom they promised to hand over to Gladkov at the meeting."
