Putin's birthday

Happy Birthday Putin! :flowers: :)

I just tried to send on my phone a birthday wish and encouragement to the Russian letters site. When I hit send it just keeps showing a loading animation on the button. I can try again tonight if I don't get an email confirmation. But I shared on social media the dearputin.com site with hashtag #HappyBirthdayPutin.

Edit: Never mind, I was able to send it when connecting to wifi on my phone.

And supporting the Putin letter with it, might also be a good idea (it is not far away from 100 000 signers now...):

- dearputin.com

Considering the situation in syria and demonization of Putin and Assad, the letter is as relevant, current on to the point as ever...

Here are a couple of english articles that can be shared along with "Happy birthday Putin!" (or something to that extent):

- Dear Putin: A letter of support to Russia's president for countering the U.S. and ISIS in the Middle East

- Dear Putin: A letter from Westerners apologizing for their corrupt governments and media

Here are three german SOTT articles that can be shared:

- Offener Brief: Danke Putin - Einer für alle, alle für einen! Menschen der Welt bedanken sich mit einer Unterschrift, auch wenn es den Qualitätsmedien nicht passt

- Ein offener Brief an Präsident Putin und die Bürger Russlands für den Frieden und gegen das Fehlverhalten unserer westlichen Regierungen und Medien

- Heute: So feiert Putin seinen 64. Geburtstag - Auch am Geburtstag wird gearbeitet

Great idea! It seems to me that it would be a very nice birthday gift to get out there and spread positive words about Putin on social media. I know from my own experience how dreadful it is to be flamed and defamed for years on end and my experience was only a drop in the ocean compared to what MSM is doing to him! Support and encouragement always help.

Done

Same here

Sent as well. Wrote it in german...

Sent, too. Wrote in Russian.

I first wrote something in Russian (using translators) but the form doesn't allow for copy-past so I just sent a message in English.

Thank you Laura for the suggestion. After two years of contemplating, it happened.
