Question on Suicide

LIMIT, I think Anart's post really struck to the heart of the matter. I would like to focus on something he mentioned, that each day we have opportunities to connect and realize our intrinsic connectedness. A major implication of that statement is this: You are never alone, because you are never truly separate.

I understand how overwhelming the feeling of loneliness can be. In those moments when you feel most alone, please remember that you exist as a part of creation. That each breath shares in cosmic winds. That each act, no matter how small, reverberates through eternity. As Anart said, "You do matter." There are reasons to be, and you can embody them one day at a time.

On a very practical level, exercise, nature, and music have helped me tremendously during past depressive episodes. Asking for support is also very important, even if it makes you feel pathetic. You reached out, and we responded. So you can count several connections right there. :)

Booze and weed, on the other hand, don't offer much solace.

Please take care.
