Recovering from Arthritis

Belated Happy Birthday, Claudia! Very glad to hear things have turned around for you so positively after all those trials; you also put in a lot of work to counter them. Wishing you all the best for the next decade, that your paths continues to go upward next to forward. :flowers: 🎉

Belated happy birthday Claudia! It's really amazing news that your next decade starts so well for you :wizard: You fought to regain your health for so many years, at the beginning of this thread you said you were diagnosed at the age of 23 - that's nearly two decades! May the upward trajectory continue, I wish you lots of health, joy, and many magical moments to share with your loved ones.
Onwards and upwards! :cheer:

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well.

I want to give you an update on my health.

On Saturday I had the blood tests that I get every 6 months.

My rheumatoid factor and anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody are still dropping but not yet negative, but compared to 2 years ago when I started the treatment with the new doctor I have improved a lot.

What has not changed much is the antinuclear antibody and IGG antibodies.

The inflammation markers are negative, which is reflected in the fact that I have no pain at all.

Actually I feel very very well, I have been doing pilates reformer for three months, my body has strengthened a lot, I found a teacher who specializes in people who have conditions like mine or who had surgeries, etc., and she takes good care of me during the exercises.

My arms are also slowly starting to get stronger, due to my shoulder surgeries I lost a lot of strength, but I definitely see an improvement.

I will be two more months with the hemotherapy vaccine and six more months with the leflunomide. With the medication I have had no side reactions at all, I have tolerated it very well.

The doctor does mesenchymal stem cell therapy, we may try it but not for now, in 6 months we have to repeat the blood tests and check if this treatment is done.

Thank you for reading me and my love to all of you.
