The process of creating a Syrian Kurdistan is currently one of the main tasks of the United States in the middle East.
In order to officially pump oil and not receive constant accusations of theft from the international community, including from their partners, the Americans must conclude an agreement with the official authorities of the country that owns the oil fields.
Due to "certain" circumstances, Washington could not agree with the official Damascus, and to conclude an agreement with the government of Bashar al — Assad-means to recognize that billions of dollars of American taxpayers spent on the overthrow of the Syrian government, flew into the "tube".
For this reason, the United States has not come up with anything other than to create a new state in the middle East — Syrian Kurdistan. At the same time, it does not take into account that in order to implement your idea, you need to destroy another country.
Although when did this stop the Americans? The Americans deftly played the ethnic card, as it was previously in Yugoslavia, presenting the Kurds to the world as the small people of Syria oppressed by the Assad government, who, against all odds, are almost alone in fighting international terrorism in the face of ISIL*. And they fully deserve, according to Washington, to get their own state for their struggle, to which, in truth, the Kurds have no historical rights, in fact, they are a nomadic people who were once sheltered by the Arabs and protected from most of their enemies. But when it comes to cheap oil production, Americans are not interested in such things as historical justice.
However, the creation of a state is quite a time-consuming process that requires combining various political forces, sometimes with diametrically opposite views. So, today the Kurds in Syria have two political forces that are almost equivalent in their influence — the " Kurdish national Council "and the"Democratic Union". Both parties have completely different opinions about the future of Syria and the Syrian Kurds.
Thus, the "Kurdish national Council" supports the creation of autonomy within Syria, as well as establishing relations with Western countries, including Turkey. The "democratic Union" and the Syrian democratic forces under its control are in favor of creating a Kurdish state entity.
As we can see, for some, the issue of preserving the territorial integrity of Syria is acute, for others-the desire to create their own country. At the same time, for the" Democratic Union", the" Kurdish national Council " is a traitor to the Kurdish people, largely because of its ties with Turkey.
For the " Democrats "to work together with the" Kurdish national Council " means to recognize Ankara's authority over Afrin and Burj, to forgive the Turks for mass expulsions of Kurds from their homes and the killing of thousands of Kurds during numerous Turkish operations in Syria.
Taking into account that the Kurdish society is quite politicized and, in one way or another, consists of one of the two parties, sharing their views, we can say that political differences are a problem not only for political associations, but for the entire Kurdish society. And if American money can help the leaders of the parties" agree", it is not easy to unite the Kurdish people, taking into account the desire of at least half of the Kurds to preserve the territorial integrity of Syria. It is not surprising, unlike the United States, Damascus is interested in the prosperity of all the peoples of the Syrian Arab Republic, and not in plundering individual peoples, which, in principle, is desired by the "friends" of the Kurds — the United States.
