[quote author=Laura ]Aside from being a genocidal maniac, what did Hitler's vegetarianism do for him???

Not so mountain freshness.
In thinking about Vegetables and Hitler, was recalling that apparently he also came into contact with a Mandrake Root.
Not sure of the objectivity of this story but read about it years ago. Here is a brief video by National Geographic; not a very complete video however.
Who reportedly found the Root for the little man in Hitlers home town. There was a full documentary on this, but have not located just now. From what was recalled, Hitlers fortunes turned around in 30's after receiving this root with special conditions laid out by Hanussen. In the end, so goes the story, Hanussen was killed and this ended the spell or whatever it was and Hitlers empire suddenly collapsed.
Perhaps this is a deflect story for his direct link to STS forces who made great offers to him, maybe this was rooted in the Mandrake - strange stuff.

Tony Perrottet said:Guests at the Berghof, Hitler’s private chalet in the Bavarian Alps, must have endured some unpleasant odors in the otherwise healthful mountain air.
It may sound like a Woody Allen scenario...

Wikipedia said:Mandrake is the common name for members of the plant genus Mandragora belonging to the nightshades family (Solanaceae). Because mandrake contains deliriant hallucinogenic tropane alkaloids such as atropine, scopolamine, apoatropine, hyoscyamine and the roots sometimes contain bifurcations causing them to resemble human figures, their roots have long been used in magic rituals, today also in neopagan religions such as Wicca and Germanic revivalism religions such as Odinism.
