Hello I'm from South Africa, while reading the session I couldn't help but notice that in relation with the community the current South African President Jacob Zuma has built his own community using R252 million of the tax payers money, the funds were said to be for security upgrades when its as clear as day light its a community with its own live stock, damn etc residence of the community are his Kinship. The was heavy media focus on the issue and an investigation by the Public Protector , the report found that tax payers money was not inappropriately. It was just a thought.

Interesting day May 17th was for me. Blocking.. On my block, things got pretty weird.

There was an explosion.. sort of sounded like roaring thunder with several thunders going on. In the end there was an accident involving 3 (5..will get to that) cars in a pretty serious collision. From my understanding a guy drifted across the medium (center line dividing traffic), he was texting, drunk, falling asleep, do something unknown or unreported to me by the police, according to a tow truck operator. Thus pretty close to a head on, torn off wheels on a couple vehicles etc.. 1 person taken away by ambulance. Mostly people in shock. My store would have been driven into had it not been for a lose brick sort of planter outside the front of the store.

Been a bit out of FOCUS, and partially blocked, in my own opinion. Well speaking of blocked, one of the 3 'moving' cars smashed into and blocked my little ford FOCUS in. Another parked car was also damaged (5th vehicle).

I've not been participating directly of late. Behind the scenes much is happening. Apologies that more communication on forming -a community -communities isn't talked about as much as one might want to. Things are happening though. :)

Anyhow, while I've been reading, personal involvement has been pretty limited for the last year at best. Just wanted to say hello and thanks for another wonderful session.

Q: (L) Okay. I'm going to start the discussion with what's on my mind. Actually, there are two things. The first thing is that I noticed that after the last session, a lot of people discussing it in the forum thread volunteered information about what they were doing to help to do this, to do that, and the other thing. We had the impression here that when the information came through that a person must put another on the step behind them, that that meant directly in terms of the Work... That it had to be someone on the ladder, or on the stairway, or on the path so to speak. So, could you clarify that? Is that, in fact, what was meant? That you meant somebody who was really asking and engaged in working on themselves, etc?

A: More than that, it means that total engagement in energy exchange with the network. If a person benefits from the efforts of others and there is no return energy, there will be blocks of all sorts in their lives.

Q: (L) Okay, when you say, "There will be blocks of all sorts in their lives"... Blocks of what kind?

A: The blocks will reflect what it is that they are unable to give. If a person cannot be sincere, they will experience people in their personal lives who are not sincere with them. If a person devalues another's efforts, they will find their own efforts devalued. If you need to unblock a certain area of your life, make the effort to give what you want or need yourself.

Q: (L) But are you talking particularly about people engaged in the Work, or just anybody in general?

A: Anybody, but double in the work.

(L) Yeah. We're going to try to synchronize here a little bit better. I need more tobacco. Okay, so you were saying that you don't how to interact with the Work because you're not physically present. And they said, "There are many ways..." and I would assume that means on the forum and with giving and doing and working on projects and so forth. Whatever's available in small ways, I think, for the moment. And then that opens the door for more direct interaction with others on “the path”, I would think.

(Aleana) What about in your daily life? I mean, even if it's just talking about health issues with people... I mean, not forcing on it on them, but just putting things out there just to see what responses you get? Or is it more just confine it to the forum and work as much as you can on SOTT and the forum?

A: The latter is very important in terms of balancing energy you have received. But you can also extend assistance to those around you if they are asking.

I feel pretty stuck at this level, I follow Sott since a while now, and I never really engaged myself in being more active on the forum. What holds me back, mostly ? I'm thinking : not yet. I still have to read and understand before participating.

In the biggest picture, I also have reflected on the fear and anger about life in general. And a lack of self-esteem, for not being the Ideal Me. I'm not and I have to accept it. There's always some guilt when I'm consciously not doing the right things to myself. But, over time, this happens less and less, I learned/am still learning here how to do the right things for my body and apply it much more. Still not enough, but it will strengthen over time and recapitulation. This is mostly what I need to participate more too. Time and recapitulation.

I'm kind of stuck in my intellect and I'm loosing a lot of energy in daydreaming instead of being active. I fear to share here because it seems like you're way ahead of me. I do value those lifetimes of work. A lot. It may be linked actually because I feel like I have no words to say compared to what you're able to share. And also, when I post, as this is the case here, it's mostly about me.

So I don't return enough energy back to the network. But the network is in my mind all days long and I'll always be around. I want to be more involved and know it will happen. I found a life objective along the road and the journey has already began but after, in some years if everything goes well I'd like to live in community and bring the skills I will develop.
I share info around me and people that I meet in general, when I feel I can do so. Experience made me understand the importance of external considering. Over time and discussions, I realize that I made huge steps in my understanding of the reality we live in. I'm understood, I can analyze my emotions and expose my shadow, my freewill is growing along my will.
I soon will have a session with Patrick too, I'll keep you posted then.

(L) It's going to spoil it. Obviously, I think there would have to be a way worked into this where pathology could be weeded out by tribes even. An individual tribe would find a pathological individual within their group members and they would need to take care of that. But as Chu said, if the whole tribe is pathological, then they would begin to corrupt things at the capitalist level, which is very possible. But anyhow, I thought that this was kind of a clever solution, and then it was funny because after I talked to Joe about it, I thought, "Ya know, gee! how did I get that answer that just suddenly popped into my head when I was writing something?" It just was really cool.

A: We have said long ago that "we are you in the future". That future is manifesting more strongly as a result of the increased frequency of communications. You begin to "tune in" several hours before sitting down to "chat". Also, be aware that this increase of time spent communicating is deepening and widening the conduit. Additionally, the "guests" add an extra dimension and strengthen the network around the planet.

Wow!. Laura is in your plans put these ideas about the levels for communism, capitalism and socialism (and protection against pathological for the tribes) in a more detailed form?. Maybe a book, articles, or perhaps a radio show?. It would be fascinating to know more about this!

(Nicholas) I have a question about Gabor Mate's use of ayahuasca. Seems like he's pretty responsible and he may be onto something that seems to help. I was just curious if what he's doing is viable?

A: He works with fairly desperate cases and situations, including his own. Thus the use of plant substances, as he does, can be likened to desperate measures when nothing else works or when time is of the essence. In some cases, as with using aspirin to break the cycle of pain, such things can be used once to break such a feedback loop and not be needed again. It can be rather like a "reset". But, be aware that true spiritual growth is not achieved this way. But if one simply needs a "reset" to normalize, this sort of thing may be beneficial.

Of course, all this compared with present, where people take drugs to go to a nightclub or in any case to dissociate from their problems (and psychos to generate stimuli that they can not generate by their internal biochemistry) shows an involution. Thank you for the session and recent sessions. I also noticed the 11 months -> April 2015 connection, seems appropriate but this April was quite crazy too. I'd like to say I 'get it' but looking at how little I have contributed over the years I'm only fooling myself. I've never had a problem with going to work and doing my best but for some reason I think an external 'push' in this realm/forum is what I need to stay focused. If that makes sense...

Kind of weird as well, today was really hard and I had a lot of anger from some things that happened at work but I decided to read some of the forum and this calmed me down fwiw.

Is the Walking dead show a form to educate the people that the only way to survive the collapse of civilization is WORKING together and forming communities with a goal? ´

The creator of The Walking Dead Robert Kirkman think so, the zombies [in the comic and the show] are a excuse and not the main idea. The main idea is work together to SURVIVE. Kirkman wrote:

The only way to stop them is by destroying their brain. The relentless violence and gore is not for the squeamish, but is probably a realistic portrayal of the brutishness and harsh conditions that will overwhelm this country once the electrical grid goes down, fuel becomes scarce and the global supply chain fails. Our just in time society is about one week from chaos, lawlessness, starvation and death on a grand scale.

As I watch the hordes of hideous brain dead zombies shuffling across the apocalyptic landscape seeking to satiate their basest cravings I can’t help but see the parallels with the millions of mindless tattooed obese slobs waddling across mall parking lots past vacant store fronts staring zombielike at their iGadgets as they seek to satisfy their basest desires at Macy’s and Chipotle. A virus has overspread our country causing a vast swath of the population to gratuitously assuage their every want without thinking of the consequences. The sickness is caused by being imprisoned for twelve years in government run public schools, watching thousands of hours of propaganda emitted by the corporate media, viewing hundreds of brain cell destroying reality TV shows, reading and sending thousands of texts and tweets, and being overwhelmed by the delusional belief spending more than they make, saving nothing, and piling up mountains of debt is the path to success in our contaminated society.

Collapse Will Be Sudden

What you note after watching a few episodes of the Walking Dead is that collapse happened suddenly...The average asleep American isn’t prepared to last one week without the basics of modern life. They haven’t stocked any food, water or fuel in case of an emergency. Their normalcy bias keeps them from even considering the high likelihood of even a natural disaster caused by a hurricane, snowstorm, or earthquake. Recent examples of most people’s complete helplessness were the snow and ice storms that struck this past winter and hurricanes Sandy and Katrina. Without power and access to food and water, modern society breaks down quickly, with chaos, looting and anarchy only days away.

It is unlikely that collapse of civilization as we know it will happen due to some extreme event such as nuclear war, super volcano, or asteroid. When our central banker masters of the universe trigger the next financial system collapse, with no monetary bullets of debasement left in their pop gun, the resulting chaos when ATMs stop spitting out $20 bills and EBT cards for 47 million people stop functioning at Wally World will be epic

So probably we can not expect the Wave to arrive sooner than after the mentioned 11 months . Probably it will arrive much later maybe in a few years. That is pretty unfortunate for me as I need to undergo a large operation in a hospital that will take at least half a year. I hoped it would not be necessary as the results of the operation were not going to be satisfactory to me. Still I am in two minds whether to do or not to do that.
