This beautiful and slow meteor overflew the Mediterranean Sea on 2019 October 13 at about 3:44 local time (equivalent to 1:44 universal time). It was generated by a rock from a comet that hit the atmosphere at about 58,000 km/h. It began at an altitude of about 95 km over the sea, and ended at a height of around 79 km after traveling about 104 km in the Earth's atmosphere.
