I recognize the cloud pattern

which looks both fascinating and quite strange at the same time. Usually it happens when clouds start to dissolve from the (dryer ?) air below them. For example on the island of Stromboli Volcano, north of Sicily i noticed these type of clouds (or cloud changes) one back in 2010 early morning at sunrise. Here in Stockholm I have only observed them once I think - but can't remember when that was or if i took images of them or not.
