Tigersoap said:Have you thought about registering to some site such as deviantart ?
Build a group there and ask for submissions ?
JonnyRadar said:I'm hoping this can be a more robust place to host work that relates to the topics covered here and on SOTT. Perhaps kind of like an art gallery/creative outlet for the Fellowship. (?)
Tigersoap said:Hey it looks great.
Well done JR :)
Gawan said:Well, it would be great to see some -symbols- there for example.
Gawan said:Hi Tigersoap, is there also a chance to see something from you there?

Tigersoap said:From my experience, I think it could help because this is all about building up a presence, the website is great but you need to have your works shown on a site like DA because it helps to reach a wider audience. It won't happen in one day but the more the works are seen by different people the more it can maybe effect a positive change and inspire others ?!
It won't remove the focus from your website, it's complementary.
Tigersoap said:Ok I'll send you the files of what I did.

as soon as the logo for the fellowship is nailed down and the website up, i'd be more than happy to post a link. :) or did you mean to use the symbols in a piece of artwork? 'cause that would be cool... as long as it's ok with Laura and the SOTT folk - thinking of association, copyright issues, etc...
Gawan said:I thought in both ways too, as you asked, and sure the copyright issues should be clear, well maybe it is just an invitation or a planning for the near future.

"Some of the greatest thinkers in human history were consumed to understand color, among them the Greek scientist and philosopher Aristotle, the English scientist Sir Isaac Newton, and the German writer and scientist Johann Goethe. Goethe regarded his immense 1810 study, Farbenlehre (Theory of Colors), his most important achievement, even greater that his masterwork, Faust."

should be attributed to Betty Edwards, as she makes this observation in her work "Color, A Course in Mastering the Art of Mixing Colors."
