Lukas - it is not externally considerate to expect others to answer questions for you that are easily answered yourself if you would put in a small amount of effort to read the messages in a thread. I mean - really - it is not difficult to read a three page thread. I don't mean to pick on you - you are not the only person doing this of late. It seems to be increasing lately, so I wanted to post a bit of a reminder that asking others for information that you can easily get yourself is a drain on others and does nothing for the self!

It's actually issue 13 that will be coming soon -- since they were just mailed recently, it's probably still too early for it to have arrived (I don't think most subscribers have received theirs yet). I'd say give it a couple weeks, and see what happens.

Right and depends on what part of the world you live and depends on the post office from your country also ... I usually received later because factors mentioned above I guess and is expected. It had worked to me not to think much about it (when is going to arrived? and such thoughts)

btw Congratulations of this great work!!

Re: The Dot Connector Magazine Issue 13 Ready For Orders and To Ship!

Just wanted to thank you for this newest issue of the magazine. I just started reading it and the material is just stupendous! So many good articles and written in a very understandable way. A big, big thank you for your work!

I got mine in Sydney last night too. Many thanks for such a great magazine

I should also note that even with the income DCM gets from subscriptions, writers are usually not paid anything for their work. The money goes back into printing the magazine, and we distribute many copies for free to certain groups and individuals. We also send off quite a few copies for promotional purposes. As with Sott.net and our other ventures/adventures, the people who work on such projects certainly don't do it for the money. With something like a magazine, it is A LOT of work, especially considering the quality of the final product - in terms of both physical appearance and content.

It has been said but I think I have to say it again, that 7 EUR is much too low a price for such a magazine. Just the postage to Sydney is already more than 2 EUR, not to mention 130 pages of full color printing. I'm not sure if 7 EUR is even enough to cover the production and shipping cost. Even if the cost is covered, it's easy to see that it doesn't leave much at all for the writers and editors. So big kudos to them :flowers:

Funny you should say that, i too looked at the postage > 2 euros and said to myself it does not indeed leave much room, so thanks again for the gift of your efforts! :hug2:

Just received the DC in the post tonight - Much thanks to all involved. :flowers:
Received mine the other day. Man this baby is packed full of a myriad of well written, carefully researched articles, and the color is just superb.

And like a few have pointed out, you get way more than your money's worth. I think DC guys should charge a little more so that we readers won't feel like we ripped somebody off. ;D

Thanks! Thanks!!!!!!

Re: The Dot Connector Magazine Issue 13 Ready For Orders and To Ship!

Laura's article in the DCM has to go down as one of the best join the dots articles I've ever read. It really is a fantastic piece, and by the end I think most people will be able to fully understand the situation humanity is currently facing. Even though it's about thirty pages it's so interesting and informative and really pulls all the strands together is an easy to understand way. The quality of the content just gets better and better, amazing work everyone thank you so much.

I agree. I resonated with the article at a "visceral" level (like an ancestral feeling?). It is truly amazing!
