One question--if this issue counts for 2, then starting with issue #10 (the first one I received) that would be 5 issues total, so having a year's subscription, I have one more issue on that year?

Mr. Scott said:Issue #13, while technically a double-issue, only counts as 1 issue out of your subscription.
The number of issues we'll release over the rest of this year depends on whether or not there are any "disrupting factors". For #13, we had a slight problem with an illness on the DCM team that threw a wrench in our plans for a timely release. All is well now, but as a relatively small operation with mostly volunteer writers, these things happen.
The compromise was to make this new issue bigger to compensate for the fact that it was late - or you might say that since it's bigger, it's not late! ;D
In any case, the more important number in our subscriptions is not the time period of 1 year or 2 years, but rather the number of issues: 6 or 12. And #13 counts as 1 issue. Of course, we're gonna try our darnedest to make 6 issues = 1 year!
When your subscription is about to expire, you will be notified twice:
1. By letter with your second-to-last issue
2. By e-mail when your last issue ships

I suppose the easy answer to this is if there are two more issues before your year's subscription is up (July 2011), then you'll get two more. Right now it looks like there will be.
