The Ice Age Cometh! Forget Global Warming!

After talking to people who have lived in the New England area of the U.S. longer than I have, it seems that we are about a month behind for spring-like weather. Many people where I live have said that it is much colder here at this time of month than it usually is.

Living in a similar place close to New England, I don't see any difference with last year or the years before that.

Boulder got almost four feet of snow in April, so that is definitely unusual, having lived there for over 20 years. The locals where I am now have mentioned that we seem to be about a month behind on trees/plants blooming and on the temperatures raising - still having frost warnings. I'd have to say that it certainly looks like a delayed spring at the very least.

Few days ago, i've heard on Tv news that in Switzerland felt around 1m of snow just over weekend - they have enjoyed warm spring and suddenly temperatures dropped almost 20°C!

Split update:

Warm/hot - almost summer - i (and some others) started to bath in Adriatic earliest ever: on April the 15 - sea temperature is 15/16° C :halo:

Ditto for where I live, in Southern Saskatchewan.
Still lots of snow, and with the temperatures finally warming to 7Celsius today and increases for the next week, everyone is preparing for imminent flooding.
As well, the farmers are concerned that they won't be able to plant until the end of May- first week of June, due to wet fields.

So far in Southern Québec, it feels like summer time these days!

Temperature is warm (20°C+) and we've had many beautiful sunny days. Currently 20°C and will get to around 25°C again today and be even hotter tomorrow.

The thing though is that we've had very little rain since the snow melted and it seems like it will not rain up until next Thursday (although it may change).

Landslide in Mexico, after hailstorm that dragged some cars in canyon, killed seven people:

The peonies are usually blooming by Memorial Day (last Monday in May) sometimes before. They are still at least a week away from blooming this year.

It hasn't been cold really, but more cloudy, rain than usual. Central US.

It is only a prediction! But all signs point to it, an year without summer. Apparently the last year like this was in 1816, near the Dalton Minimum.

snow.jpg

An inch of snow on the ground here in Dunedin, New Zealand yesterday, with showers of rain and hail and intermittent sunshine. This is the view from my front door. It is not unusual to get a few days of snow here in winter, although some years there is never enough for it to settle on the ground.

A little more unusual is that at the seafront high tides have been excavating the ground at the sea-wall down at the seaside suburb of St. Clair, Dunedin. This has been causing bricks and chairs to disappear into holes in the ground.

Right now the weather in northern Finland seems to be a lot warmer that most of southern Europe, with daytime temperatures reaching 25 degrees C.

Same strange and unusually cold weather for this part of the year in Macedonia too. 3 days ago it was 7-8 C in the morning with very cold wind during all day. Today its about 20-25 C. Very sharp temperature changes in short time. Also there was snow on the mountain tops last weekend.
Another unusual is that in the last month here we have a so called red or yellow rain. Its a rain mixed with some kind of yellow to red sand or mud. Interesting is that when it happen for the first time the authorities said it was sand from the Sahara that some kind of dust storm bring it over here. Then it started to rain every 3-4 days the same type of rain.
Another interesting information is that there was no winds and clouds from south. So i doubt that it was "sahara" sand.
Then i also noticed some very strange thunders. Usually they are low with rain and its a classical storm. In the last few months i noticed that the thunders are very high in the atmosphere. Its not raining, clouds are very high in the atmosphere , but there are some very large and strong lightnings that lights night sky like a day. The happened just above me, but no sound of a thunder can be heard. Very unusual weather in last months.

We are forecast to get 50 cm of rain today in our area, and up to a meter south of us. The rivers are already very high from the rain that has been falling off and on (mostly on) since December, so I have no idea where all that water is going to go. Well, sure, I have an idea, but it's not pleasant. Plus, the snow in the Pyrenees has not melted yet and when it does, it will add to the water burden.

"Sheets of Rain", indeed.

I wrote my above post and after that i saw the new session with the C`s. Yes , i think that all that dust that is raining in the last month is not form some desert. Its dust loading upper atmosphere from the comets and meteors. Like C`s said " SHEETS OF RAIN". That explains the high altitude large lightnings without a sound. On the mountain tops here( 1700 m - 2200 m above see) there are still some snow. Its practically June. I never remember snow on that mountains in June.
Also another thing i remember now is that when weather gets colder and windier then the sky gets very unusually clear. When weather gets warmer, sky gets like milky white/ beige color. Its not like clouds its like all the sky is just a thick smoke. And also the fast temperature changes.
Lets say that 10-15 years ago we usually went to beach at the middle of June. Now its almost June and i cant pack my winter cloth yet.
