The Situation In Germany

Hi Mari,

maybe this can help: Alle Wahlprogramme für die Bundestagswahl 2021 – Bundestagswahl 2021

You will find the election programs of the parties there, long formats and summarized formats (the latter at least for the big parties that already have seats in the parliament, except for the FDP).

Then, there is the "Wahlomat" from the official site "Bundeszentrale für politische Aufklärung" (would be in English: "Federal Center for Political Enlightenment"). The "Wahlomat" is an interactive tool which presents you several propositions like "Coal Phase-Out before 2038" or "Lowering the Voting Age from 18 years to 16 years", or "Finishing the Subsidisation of Wind Power". You can choose between "agree", "neutral", "don't agree". And you can also skip questions.

Here's a PDF which compares the 38 propositions for all the parties (however, there are 3 respective parties at each of the 15 pages).

Hope this helps! :-)

PS: I'm going to look for an alternative site covering the election programs of the respective parties later, since I'm curious about that too.

Hello @Mari @Learner
I tried this little helper today, and as far as I understood it, it is independent: Finde deine Partei zu politischen Wahlen - WahlSwiper it is also with short videoclips if needed.
For me, the result was indeed "die Basis" a new German party. The programme sounds like desirable basic principles for living together, but I'm not really sure if it has a chance. But maybe it will stimulate some people to think again. Maybe it's worth a try. I haven't quite understood yet why this party is pushed into the right-wing corner in the media, because I don't find that there is any indication of this in the statements. Or is it simply the same reason why "lateral thinkers" are also pushed there? Has anyone happened to follow this or know more about it?

However, in my opinion it is a bit like choosing between plague and cholera. I'm not really sure what to choose. But I also don't want to support the usual suspects by not voting.

Hi @Learner, hi @Mililea

@Learner
This The "Wahlomat" questionnaire is excellent! Thank you very much!!!

Basically trough 38 questions you can see the general plan for Germany for next 5 years and depending on your answer you see in the end which party will agree/disagree (probably) on each question. And that is really important!!!!

I was really surprised about how different topics/questions there were.
I´ve chosen the parties already in Bundestag for start and because I doubt the others will make trough in the numbers of parliamentarians that matter the voting on issues.
It´s great also that you can tune which topics are more important to you or not and it re-calculates the most compatible party.

Well, that was a good start!
Thank you! :-)

@Mililea
Thank you for helping!
I´ve just finished this Wahlomat :-D so I´ll check also the Voteswiper! Thank you!

Well, that´s why I´ve chosen, for start, to compare parties already in Bundestag.... :-(
And from those 6 parties, it appeared that I have most in common with AfD.... 🤷‍♀️

However, in my opinion it is a bit like choosing between plague and cholera. I'm not really sure what to choose. But I also don't want to support the usual suspects by not voting.
I know what you mean... I haven't vote in 20 years.
Now, even if they rig the elections as they do in Croatia, USA, etc. at least I can say I tried something to make things better.

I know that it´s all a smokescreen, but what if all people like us just sit at home and do nothing while bunch of BLM´s, Antifas and you-name-the-organization or moral-superiors all so eagerly come and vote?

I mean, in the questionnaire were statements like below, so there are various issues - so why shouldn´t I at least try to elect the party who will support my thinking in at least questions that matter?
  • Germany should increase its defense spending.
  • The promotion of wind energy is to be ended.
  • Vaccines against Covid-19 should continue to be protected by patents.
  • The phase-out of coal-fired power generation planned for 2038 should be brought forward.
  • All employed persons should have to be insured in the statutory pension insurance.
  • The traditional family of father, mother and children should be promoted more strongly than other communities.
  • Federal authorities should linguistically take into account different gender identities in their publications.
  • The Baltic Sea pipeline "Nord Stream 2", which transports gas from Russia to Germany, should be allowed to go into operation as planned.
  • ...

IDK, I´m driven by this COVID-fascisms and degradation of the schools and all of this nonsense, that I feel I have to do something... to try something...

@Mililea this voteswiper.org was also very helpful! Thank you!
I could even switch language to English so that was a big help not to c/p every other question in translator. ;-D
It says that: "There are 39 parties running. 36 of 39 parties have submitted their answers to VoteSwiper." so that looks promising...

Anyway, the results across all parties showed that I´m as well with "die Basis".... 🤷‍♀️ ...never heard of them... And the same goes for the next 4 best candidates offered... :umm:

Oh, well...

With all the polls giving the social-democratic contender Olaf Scholz a clear advantage toward his rival Armin Laschet of the CDU the only important decision to make would be whether to enable a Scholz-led left-wing coalition or have any other kind of useless mainstream three party coalition.

Supporting any other likeable but minuscule political party is practically useless except for trying to retain a good conscience.

On the subject of conscience, do we boycott the elections or do we cast our votes?
I have thought about that quite often.

Boycotting would be an attempt to wash our hands off the whole deal trying to retain a moral high ground.

Voting and making a probably futile attempt to influence the course the country will be taking is making a decision for your own, no matter what the actual outcome may be.

Proportional representation will lead to a three party coalition anyway, and forces behind the scenes will make sure that the 'Greens' are part of it.

Well, I´m thinking about voting; if I´m allowed to vote in Germany that is.
I live and work in Germany for the last 6 years, pay taxes, have a real address (Meldebescheinigung), so I suppose I´m also allowed to vote...
I still didn´t get any official letter about my voting point or something similar....

Hi Mari, you should double-check, but as far as I know, only German citizens are allowed to vote on the federal level.

Be very careful about the wahlomat! There is not a single question to the current situation in it. Also the possibilities of choosing answers are limited, and in the big picture they tell you that you are far right if you are not going with what the government says. A useless tool in my eyes. I, for the first time, decided NOT to vote. It is Plague or Colera, so it doesnt make any sense for me. I keep my voice, and do not throw it in an "urn", as we call it in german.

Well, I´ve sent an email to the city management for election and they were very quick to answer; since I don´t have German citizenship, I´m not allowed to vote for Bundestag, Land or any other election, except local elections.

I assumed that since I´m living and working here I´m allowed to, but I forget that Germany is not Croatia, so - a lot of writing for nothing...

p.s. quoting doesn´t work for some reason...

Unfortunately, Luc is right and you cannot vote in this election unless you are a German citizen. You have to have lived in Germany at least 8 years in order to qualify for citizenship.

Well, I hear you! I only suggested it as a means of first orientation for Mari and to let her see for herself. Kind of "scratching the surface". The questions in there are not objective, they reek so much of propaganda and are so biased that any person with some good knowledge on how to create questionaires and endowed with a clear conscience would probably be running away while screaming. I've found it to be that way with the Voteswiper suggested by Mililea as well, though not in that extreme way as with the Wahlomat.

Both tools placed me in the far-right corner as well, but suggested "Die Basis" quite on top as well. There was even a party suggested to me called "Der III. Weg" (The III. Way), for example. If you go to their website, at first the following slogan shortly pops up on the header banner: "National - Revolutionär - Sozialistisch" (National - Revolutionary - Socialist). In short, if you think in a certain way today, you're kind of being labeled a "Nazi". As it happened to others here, one can deduce that rational, normal thinking has become the "thinking of the Nazi" in public opinion - which might be an explanation why "Die Basis" (the party which has been founded by Rainer Füllmich from the Corona Investigation Committe, Sucharit Bakhdi, and others) is being placed into that corner as well. Anybody just being critical about the current program of re-education of the population (including the Covid narrative) that we witness is being stigmatized as such.

However, one good thing about both tools is that they give an overview of the election agenda - and, indeed, a scary prospect of the direction into which we are to be pushed in the next 5 to 10 years. So they help to arrive at a decision - in my case it will probably be to make one or both votes invalid while leaving a message in red on the voting sheet. Maybe one of the people who count the votes will read it and it might make them think. Chances are slim, but why not try? It can be kind of a symbolic gesture of protest and we know how the universe (re-)acts in terms of symbolic patterns and what might be created even if nobody reads that message.

I am not sure about this yet, it's just what I would probably do if the elections were taking place tomorrow. And thank you very much for your request, @Mari. Even if you can't take part in the election yet you helped clarify a few steps of the way to what will be others' and my decision eventually.

Die Basis is - in my eyes - controlled opposition of the worst sort. They are backing the "united Europe" thing and are Disciples of the Great Reset. As long as the autonomy on your own body is gone, there is no more "democracy" or "freedom" left.

Do you have links regarding this? I'm asking because of looking for more information because I'm considering voting for them.

You mean like an article that says what I said? No. This is my impression after watching a lot of interviews with members of the basis. Note that Markus Haintz and his gilrfriend left the party just recently, because of strange ongoings (in their eyes) among the "leading" members of the party. Search for the interview on Oliver Janichs channel on Bitchute.

Thank you for sharing your observations and for the additional information, etezete. I will look for the interview you mentioned.

Die Basis and BasisCamp and Investigative Corona Committee and Reiner Fuellmich. All related, I hope for good and progress.
