Interesting, found at AI Brave the following:Old, old old civilizations in Mexico. 270,000 years old according to Steen-McIntyre, Virginia, who lost her professorship for discovering it. Search her name and there's quite a story about it. I once saw a video documentary on her work and controversy, and it may still be out there somewhere. Here's an article on the subject, but first a few quotes:

For the year 2020, researchers aimed to determine through microscopic analysis whether there was the elaboration and use of bone tools in the contexts of Hueyatlaco.3 The challenges include selecting a sample of dental pieces for analysis, conserving the faunal bone material in the collections of the INAH-Puebla Center and the INAH laboratories, and continuing to explore the site's potential for yielding evidence of human activity predating the Clovis culture.3
Despite the controversy, the site remains one of the most important and oldest sources of information about the prehistory of the Americas.
B U T ...observing at the quote (number 3), which is a page of INAH (National Institute of Anthropology and History, Research Institute in Mexico) does not work. Too bad, I wanted to see what progress had been made.
For the year 2020 we intend to determine through microscopic analysis to be able to determine if there was elaboration and use of bone tools in the contexts of Hueyaltaco. The pending remains are: to select a sample of dental pieces so that, with the permission of the Council of Archaeology, to be able to carry out dating analysis. The preservation of the bone material ...
I would have liked to find the site of El Horno, which is mentioned in the article
..but I did not find it on google maps. The red dot is nowadays called El Oasis Valesquillo.

Thanks, I just saw your post, I will see it.I just did a cursory check on YT and found "mucho" videos still on Steen-McIntyre, Virginia and Hueyatlaco. Im posting the one below. Although it is 1.5 hours long it's really interesting. Shows how the scientific community rallied to sabotage both her, and the site, kind of a "who done it" novel. It also has Virginia McIntyer being interviewed. btw: videos in Spanish also.
