The Situation in Mexico

Old, old old civilizations in Mexico. 270,000 years old according to Steen-McIntyre, Virginia, who lost her professorship for discovering it. Search her name and there's quite a story about it. I once saw a video documentary on her work and controversy, and it may still be out there somewhere. Here's an article on the subject, but first a few quotes:
Interesting, found at AI Brave the following:
...
For the year 2020, researchers aimed to determine through microscopic analysis whether there was the elaboration and use of bone tools in the contexts of Hueyatlaco.3 The challenges include selecting a sample of dental pieces for analysis, conserving the faunal bone material in the collections of the INAH-Puebla Center and the INAH laboratories, and continuing to explore the site's potential for yielding evidence of human activity predating the Clovis culture.3

Despite the controversy, the site remains one of the most important and oldest sources of information about the prehistory of the Americas.

B U T ...observing at the quote (number 3), which is a page of INAH (National Institute of Anthropology and History, Research Institute in Mexico) does not work. Too bad, I wanted to see what progress had been made.
For the year 2020 we intend to determine through microscopic analysis to be able to determine if there was elaboration and use of bone tools in the contexts of Hueyaltaco. The pending remains are: to select a sample of dental pieces so that, with the permission of the Council of Archaeology, to be able to carry out dating analysis. The preservation of the bone material ...

I would have liked to find the site of El Horno, which is mentioned in the article

I just did a cursory check on YT and found "mucho" videos still on Steen-McIntyre, Virginia and Hueyatlaco. Im posting the one below. Although it is 1.5 hours long it's really interesting. Shows how the scientific community rallied to sabotage both her, and the site, kind of a "who done it" novel. It also has Virginia McIntyer being interviewed. btw: videos in Spanish also.
Thanks, I just saw your post, I will see it.

President Sheinbaum is turning into a baseball player, hitting every ball Trump throws her way every day.

It's a tactic to divert international attention and hide what everyone knows: that the US economy is now, and has been for some time, holding its decline with pins and needles.

And on the other hand, China is always on alert.

As are most installed leaders and shoot the majority of the liberal mind-hive are all swinging at everything. It is quite entertaining to watch in fact.

With the inclusion of Texas now as part of the buffer to add to the US military's "Roosevelt Reservation" activation, the areas not under US Military patrol will most likely turn into choke points and add stress to the north bound smugglers while they compete with each other for "windows of opportunity" to send over a payload.

This should force "errors" and bit by bit they will be painted and able to be taken off the chessboard.

Well, if she had any independence, she could/should do a Putin and use each opportunity to educate those listening to her, even if most all American's aren't, and therefore don't learn anything. She could've used the recent Trump team push for US troops in Mexico to go after the 'drug cartel' to explain how they are US intel cartels, supported by US arms, US banks and US media that doesn't mention any of these simple facts. It's hard to know how 'independent' she is, but other presidents, usually out of office of course, have spoken of these facts before.

"Gringos, go home!" Protests against gentrification

Soon it will not be advisable for a foreigner to live in any city in Mexico. There is a process of gentrification, mainly in Mexico City, which is why people are beginning to see the arrival of foreigners as a nuisance.

Well, the first signs of "resentment" against foreigners, and especially against Americans, appeared yesterday in Mexico City. Shouting "Gringos, go home!" and "Gentrification is not progress, it's dispossession," groups of activists gathered this Friday at the Lindbergh Forum in Mexico Park in the Condesa neighborhood to raise awareness of the issue.

The Condesa neighborhood is one of the main areas of the city that foreigners choose to settle in Mexico City due to its infrastructure of services, culture, architecture (art Deco), and middle-class standard of living.

People pointed out that the presence of foreigners has led to a steady increase in rents, the cost of living, and commercial transformation in the neighborhoods of the country's capital.

Other neighborhoods that participated in the protest by gathering in Mexico Park were Roma, Juárez, Obrera, Doctores, Del Valle, San Pedro de los Pinos, and Santa María la Ribera. In addition to denouncing rising rents and the displacement of local residents, they also denounced the loss of neighborhood identity due to tourism and real estate speculation. The march, which began peacefully, led to acts of vandalism, with graffiti and damage to businesses in the Roma and Condesa neighborhoods.

"Spanish is spoken here" "*damn gringo"
What can be heard at the first march against gentrification held in Mexico Park in Condesa in #CDMX, the contingent is on Insurgentes Avenue heading towards the center.

Neighbor, be careful, they are not tourists, they are invaders, could be read on the protesters' signs.

A Starbucks was vandalized.
During the protest against gentrification in Mexico City, a group of people vandalized a Starbucks branch located on Sonora Street in the Condesa neighborhood.
The protest aims to raise awareness about the displacement of indigenous communities and the impact of large chains on the rising cost of living in the area.

Protests against gentrification also took place in Oaxaca, with chants of "Gringo no es amigo" (Gringo is not a friend).

Some believe that these protests are also influenced by Donald Trump's immigration policies.

Trump's Chinese box

Around the world, it may be known as "tall tales", "cowboy stories", "to blow smoke" etc., but here in Mexico we popularly call it a Chinese box. We are used to the stories that politicians of any ideology make up.

In Mexican politics, the term "Chinese box" refers to a media distraction strategy used to divert public attention from an important issue, such as a scandal, a crisis, or an unpopular decision, to another less relevant but more sensational or eye-catching issue.

This tactic involves generating or amplifying news that arouses curiosity, morbid interest, or controversy, often with the collaboration of the media, so that the public focuses on it and forgets about the original problem.

On July 16, 2025, Donald Trump claimed that drug cartels have a "strong hold" on Mexico, accusing Mexican politicians of being under their control. During the signing of a law on fentanyl, he stated that Mexican authorities are "petrified" by the power of the cartels, which exert significant influence in the country. This rhetoric is part of a strategy that could be interpreted as a "Chinese box" by generating controversy and focusing on a sensationalist issue such as cartel control in order to divert attention from other political as Epstein list issue.

While it is true that there were government officials colluding with the cartels and who are now in US prisons, Trump's claim that the government is taken over by the cartels is far from the truth, but it serves as a pretext for future interventions, especially now that these same cartels have been declared "terrorist organizations."

We have the case, for example, of Chapo Guzmán's son, Ovidio Guzmán López, who was extradited by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) to the United States on September 15, 2023. Recently, Ovidio's lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman, accused the Mexican government of being "corrupt" and accused President Claudia Sheinbaum of acting as "the public relations arm of a drug trafficking organization." So, did AMLO arrest Ovidio and extradite him to the US so that he could later accuse the 4T regime and especially President Sheinbaum? Does that sound logical?

Ovidio Guzmán reportedly agreed to cooperate with US prosecutors in exchange for a recommendation for a sentence shorter than life imprisonment. Ovidio would undoubtedly sell his own mother; he is a criminal, but he has more credibility according to the mexican opposition. OK.

On the other hand, the Trump administration has the resources to send weapons to Ukraine and Israel, but not to help its citizens with addiction problems. This whole issue of cartels as a serious danger to America, as Trump put it, is mainly aimed at diverting attention from what really matters to American citizens right now, which is dismantling the Deep State and, above all, finding out the truth about what happened with the Epstein case and who was involved, no matter who falls.

After seeing this for the first time I wondered if any of Soros people may be involved. It has the surface appearance there could be some involvement. Chaos and division are always part of the recipe.

YIKES!

"Senate President Gerardo Fernández Noroña and PRI national leader Alejandro Moreno had fight at the Senate chamber."

"With cameras rolling, tension over potential US military intervention against Mexico's drug cartels erupted into a shoving-and-slapping bout between legislators"

"Scheinbaum has firmly and repeatedly rejected any U.S. military presence on Mexican soil. "The United States is not going to come to Mexico with the military."

"Senator Alejandro “Alito” Moreno, who leads the opposition Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), was apparently incensed over the refusal of his demands to participate in the floor debate, which featured accusations that PRI and the National Action Party (PAN) had called for the US military to strike the cartels inside Mexico -- which both parties deny."

It's honestly shameful. These are our so-called 'leaders.' Look at them acting like this, it's no wonder Mexico is in the state it's in. Don't get me wrong, I'm Mexican and I love my country, but this is just bananas. Seeing these two idiots fighting is a perfect reflection of the violence and chaos we see everywhere. Sometimes it feels like this is all just part of a never-ending cycle.

This is an interesting video and from the several news sources that describe it, not any that I have read describes it as the two PRI members shooed the Morena delegates out of the chamber. Almost like getting disgracefully ejected out of a game.

It seems the level of corruption is so blatant that people are at a precipice. I wish our southern neighbors well and hope that the exposure continues like it is (albeit slowly) here in the US. It is really remarkable what happens when the slumbering masses awaken.
