Too late in discovering strategic enclosure...

I too discovered strategic enclosures a bit too late...

Every non-fatal discovery is a potential learning opportunity. Too late for one thing; just in time for another.

I'm not as sure about the fatal ones.

What would classify as fatal? (Just reread my question... possibly what would is also uncertain & varies.)

Sorry, I meant that literally. It's my sense of humor and it is also serious. It is indeed "too late" in this life when you try something that kills you and you too are "late." So be a little bit careful.

I grew up in a religious cult where the threat of "unforgivable sin" was used to scare people and keep them in line, through fear of questioning authority, straying from "the truth," and "falling away" (i.e. starting to learn something useful). The real item would be sort of like dying before you are dead, by committing to a path from which there is no return. I don't deny that possibility, but I suspect that people that are committed that way don't sit around discussing their options on the forum. So "fatal" means "fatal." If you can imagine that it is too late, it likely isn't.

Strategic Enclosure:
<snip>

Strategic enclosure is employed for one's own growth. External consideration deals with how to behave with others in a way that makes life easier for oneself and others. This post has links to the cassiopedia entries on strategic enclosure and external considering.

Thankyou for the correction about terminology used.

I'm not sure if you've read the description of strategic enclosure in Cassopedia, I thought I'd give the link to it:

http://cassiopedia.org/glossary/Strategic_enclosure

I am having difficulties with opening cassiopedia.org and the Glossary strangely does not contain the term Strategic enclosure. I am familiar with the concept but today I wanted to post a link to it on FB and found the C'pedia's not working. What is the problem?

Hi anka,

Try that: http://thecasswiki.net/index.php?title=Strategic_enclosure

Casswiki is the new source for this kind of information. It replaces the former glossary.

Thanks! Didn't know the website for this project is already up and running. Is it wise to promote links to it or better wait until all is more settled?

Sure, you can link to it as much as you like. Since December 2014, it's "officially" replaced the Cassiopedia/Esoteric Glossary and Enpsychopedia. We haven't really made any "big announcement" about it (so far at least), but it's mentioned in a few places (e.g. in these two older posts) and also seen in the newer welcome messages for newbies.

If you're curious, you can do a search for "CassWiki" on the forum to find other discussion, mentions, and places where it's been linked to. :)
