I'm not surprised, but a bit disappointed seeing how almost all 'big names' in alternative media outlets and e.g. Twitter, that I've considered having pretty good discernment, are resorting to complete black-and-white thinking regarding the Soleimani case. For instance, all anti-impeachment voices are agreeing with Trump that S. was monster and a terrorist. I'm more on Trump's side than not on many things, but to automatically parrot his talking points regarding Soleimani seems like a naive knee-jerk reaction by these peeps. Or, maybe they know that this is the view Trump wants to sell, so they support it – but then they are not thinking with their own brains! I'm sure S. was no saint, but there are many levels to his story, I'm sure.

Right now I feel like I don't want to follow. read or watch anyone on SM anymore, since they are all equally brain washed.

Unfortunately, twitter is always a platform for black and white arguments with their limited text capabilities. It looks to me, it created that type of readers too, who can be emotionally manipulated very quickly.

To prove something is more difficult, but an event may have geopolitical consequences based on what people believe. The 17 missiles launched against Ain al Assad airbase were of the Qiam-2 type which is an updated version of the original Qiam with a guided warhead and much better accuracy. The missiles launched towards Erbil airport were solid fueled Fateh 313 missiles which have a 500 kilometer range and additional anti-interception devices.

Damage pictures of Ain al-Assad airbase show that the hits were well targeted and extremely precise.

In the article, it is mentioned that the Swiss embassy was told 1 hour beforehand about where the hits would be, which gave them enough time to tell the Americans. All to avoid the loss of life and avoid an escalation, which would be to nobody's benefit. The PMU have said that they will retaliate separate from the Iranians.
