Trump declaring that the US will take over the Gaza strip could buy at least some time for the people there.
With a bit of luck it could keep Israel from bombing the place.

Building new homes elsewhere could take years as could convincing the Palestinians to move (if ever possible).

Trump may be so shrewd as to keep this process going long enough as it takes for Israel to cave in on itself.
 
On the Gaza thing, I'll add Ian Carroll's take here for reference.
The short version is, it's (hopefully) an 'Art of the Deal' statement by Trump [America will own Gaza] to get others to find a solution (which appears to be happening), that blocks Israel from continuing to bomb Palestine and stops the removal of Palestinians.

This is what I believe is the best path forwards for Gaza and the Middle East.
I ran out of time in this video to talk about Jared Kushner and the threat to this potential solution of Israeli billionaires and influence co-opting and corrupting this plan. There’s obviously a ton of nuance.
But some version of this is the most optimistic hopeful outcome I can see.
Do you guys think I’m missing something? As always I welcome real debate and rational contributions.

To be extra clear: I do NOT want ethnic cleansing of Palestine
I do NOT want Israel in charge of anything
I do NOT want American boots on the ground any more than absolutely necessary to effect a version of this plan.

I DO want peace and prosperity for Palestine.
I DO want to stop funding Israel completely.
I DO want Bibi to stand trial for war crimes and spend the rest of his life in a prison receiving the exact same hospitality Israelis have shown to Palestinian prisoners for the last 100 years. If you know what I mean.

Hopefully that clears things up.
Next I’ll be digging into Jared Kushner to try and see if I can find anything out about what he might be up to behind the scenes and how likely it is that Trump has a good version of this plan in mind vs if he has a shitty version of this plan in mind.
And also- I’m aware that the rulers of these Arab nations are mostly evil pieces of shit too. I’m aware that fundamentalist Islam beliefs are whack as hell. The way I see it- the solution I describe in this video is the most America First outcome possible. If you think there’s a better solution for Americas interests, please describe it.

I think this is a possibility. Trump oftem comes across as an idiot, but he is sharper than people give him credit for. In fact his "buffoon" personality might give him an advantage: people underestimate him.

I'm also wondering whether maybe Trump promised the Israelis this "official ethnic cleansing" in exchange for the ceasefire deal, and maybe support for his campaign. Now he makes good on it, but leaves the whole thing rather open while sending mixed signals.

If so (big if), this would be rather brilliant, because stopping the Israelis from firebombing Gaza while buying time seems like the best option right now, and leaves the future open.

I just watched Ian Carroll's video and it could well be what Trump's Art of the Deal aims to accomplish. Ian Carroll's first video about it was a shock of what Trump was proposing but he soon changed his perspective and became much hated as he then proposed that it might actually not be such a bad idea. This latest video fleshes out what could happen if things go well. As he mentions, it has united the Arab states against the plan (which might have been the plan) and to hopefully come up with an alternative plan including the financing of the rebuilding.

Never a dull moment after Trump got back in power and he certainly has learned a lot since his first term. AND he has only been in power a day shy of 3 weeks. Next week, it will probably be EU's time to freak out. It is certainly a breath of fresh air and some common sense which likely will spread to many other places in the world.

Trump is behaving like a sly fox. Why should he fight the deep state directly when he has ways to get in through the back door and set a small fire in the basement that destroys the entire house from the inside?
Trump is using the consent of the masses under the guise of “waste of money” and “efficiency”. What would be the impact of saying: we will wipe out the deep state? If you have read the 36 stratagems of Tan Daoji, you will recognize traditional Chinese warfare quite openly.
The 90-day standstill for foreign support to investigate and uncover corrupt structures alone has caused an important pillar in the foundation to collapse. If you follow the USAID's connections to Germany, it ends in the Ministry for Development Aid with the left-wing ideological SPD/Green leadership. Everyone is in maximum turmoil. A few months ago this agency was already in the MSM for funding bike paths in Peru with German tax money. My guess is that this structure was deliberately formed and supported from outside in order to legalize the outflow of all domestic funds. The Reichsbürger in Germany say that Germany is a company and not an independent country. It makes sense in this context. And the destruction of Germany and the European countries will bring them into the state of a developing country, which will then become completely dependent on certain institutions.
Only when the foundations collapse can we be free again.
