Trump era: Fascist dawn, or road to liberation?

Vesti's talk show with Vladimir Soloviev is kind of like RT's Crosstalk, without so much interruption. In this clip the panel weighs in on Hillary, Trump and the madness of American politics. These guys are great!

Yaakov Kedmi, public figure, Israel: "When we look at this quarrel in the USA, we should remember that Mrs. Clinton used to be the Secretary of State. She used to set the foreign policy, or rather tried to... She wanted to become president. But she's behaving like a fishmonger in the way she speaks and everything. She's a hysterical, infantile lady, who is suffering from megalomania on the one hand, and from insecurities, both her own and those contracted from her husband. And she is unloading all of this.

It seems to me that the Trump era has ushered in some valuable lessons for the public about how corruption actually works, down to the nuts & bolts, the real "how to." Of course, a lot of it has been out there for a long time, especially in books, but it seems that exposure is happening with a higher profile and at a faster pace now, mainly as a result of pro-Trump and anti-Trump pundits and their audiences trying to convince each other of something. I think this is a good thing, ultimately. I just hope that the facts/evidence ultimately prevail.

"Don't you KNOW that Trump is selling migrant children into sex slavery to pay off his debts to Russia?!? Where've you been?!?!?!"

This kind of statement seen daily in responses to Facebook posts, Tweets, YouTube videos, articles, etc. is indicative of the tsunami of conspiracy writing that has flooded our media since Trump's inauguration, most of which seems to be built by wildly extrapolating on a few "accepted facts" (real or fake) and little evidence, and then just disappears with no follow-up, no more dots to connect. But there's compelling stuff, too, if it actually describes the methods and practices of corrupt individuals, especially when following the money.

Maybe I'm wrong but it seems to me that a lot of previously unaware folks have learned something from follow-the-money cases like these examples:
- illicit payoffs to politicians in the form of board seats or other corporate jobs for their lackeys, who are the ones ostensibly paid and the politicians gets the kick-back through a network of worldwide cooperating banks
- migration crises artificially enlarged by the encouragement, coaching, false promises, monetary aid and transportation aid to those willing to migrate
- foreign aid being mainly payoffs to corrupt heads of state and kickbacks to the corporations of the "aiding" nation, who in turn kick back to politicians enacting foreign aid
- charitable foundations being fronts for pay-to-play, stealing the money by calling it "expenses" and laundering it through banking networks
- public grant money being funneled by recipients into political donations to influence the continued flow of grant money
- corporate tricks to avoid taxation

There are many more. And still more that aren't so easy for anyone to grasp, because the motivations don't appear to be money. And still more with low profiles, things the public isn't ready for, like how gun/human/drug trafficking is enabled and who it really funds.

Here's a very good exposé of profit from the endless homeless crisis done by Tiffany FitzHenry who is famous for exposing how Hollywood (her term for the corporate movie, TV, music, sports, and other mass entertainment businesses) works, and controls its stars to serve Deep State agendas. It's an interview with San Francisco mayoral candidate Ellen Lee Zhou, a social worker who has been mercilessly vilified for speaking frankly about some of the city's problems.

Ignore the senstational/clickbait title. It is broadly about the one-party political climate of San Francisco, and the resulting oppression, but the homeless discussion is outstanding. I think I see why Trump keeps bringing up the California homeless problem. In short, 20,000+ homeless on the streets of San Francisco means that local "help the homeless" NGOs have sprung up like mushrooms and have acquired gov't sanction and gov't funding to the tune of $70,000 per homeless person per year. With that huge amount of money, the homeless are apparently supplied with free drugs and needles, subsistence sustenance, someone to tell their troubles to, and precious little more. The rest is stolen. She also goes into the influence of family dynasties on San Francisco, and other things.

A couple of things happened today that made me think a shift may have occurred in Washington and the general public. At work, my employer had his usual radio station on which for the last several years has been anti Trump with the usual liberal view point. Today they where playing the comments of Rep. Steve Scalese, R-La. from a press conference held with Rep. Jim Jordan condemning "the Soviet style" closed door, secret meeting, without due process being conducted by Adam Schiff and Pelosi with the "impeachment investigation". Later in the day I watched the interview which I've posted. Jordan gives an interesting account of how Schiff is presiding over this investigation since Jordan, along with a few other Republicans have insisted on being present. Schiff comes off as being insane and power hungry. Sitting in a dark basement room, forcing his will on all involved. Alas, such is the nature of snaky swamp creatures. He really needs to be kicked out, what a nut!

Republicans seem to be finally stepping up. Its really become so crazy, no one can tolerate it anymore (I hope). The Dems are having a lot more pressure placed on them now it seems. GOOD!!!!!!!

Good News! The Democrats where defeated today when they where forced to follow procedure and hold a bipartisan vote on whether impeachment should proceed. All Republicans voted against it and 2 Dems. So, the crazy trial of Schiff and Polosi is OVER! Hallelujah! I was heartened and impressed by this press conference given by the Republicans. It was stressed the Rule of Law will be followed, I hope there is follow through on that! Towards the end, a reporter asked if they would go on record to say the president did nothing wrong and they all said enthusiastically, YES! I've never seen the Republicans come together and support Trump like this. Its wonderful to see. Watch their faces, they look happy at times, like a fighting spirit for justice has inspired them. The built up tension surrounding this fiasco is gone. Also, maybe they're catching on they have a lot of support if they just start stepping up. Fabulous! What comes next ?

I need to make a correction on what I said above. This impeachment sham may not be over yet as Pelosi may try to launch it again in a more "open" format... :deadhorse::deadhorse::deadhorse:

We don't know what the follow up will be on this and I dont like making inaccurate statements.

Can you give a few highlights?

Well, Trump said he wants closer trade deals with UK (and he wants Brexit done asap), and defuses Corbyn's fear that the U.S wants to meddle with the NHS. He also complains about certrain EU countries not pulling their weight (or is that paying their way?) within NATO.

He speaks of BoJo as a friend (mentioning that Johnson and Farage should work together) and also offers some words on the death of Baghdadi last week. Another issue covered was the road death caused by a US citizen back in the summer (I think she was the wife of a diplomat or something). He stalls Farage a little on this point, mentions the need to know all the facts involved. He skits over this a little to focus on what he's done for the U.S during his time in office.

He mentions Warren and Sanders as his possible rivals for 2020, but no mention of Tulsi. He then mentions that he thinks he's achieving more in office than he thought was possible. he says that his freedom is curtailed forever now that he's taken on the big job, and that nothing will be the same for him again. He seems almost wistful on this point.

Clearly Farage and Trump get on as friends, so the chat is fairly warm and open, but no real surprises in this interview on reflection. Still a good listen though.

In the midst of the impeachment circus, disquieting actions continue:
Trump Freezes Lebanon Military Aid After Israel Voiced Concerns
by Tyler Durden Sat, 11/02/2019

Amid recent statements by both Iranian and Hezbollah leaders accusing the United States of hijacking the massive anti-corruption protests which have gridlocked Lebanon for over the past two weeks, the White House has made the dramatic and unexpected move of freezing US military aid to the Lebanese Army.

The money, part of a military aid package totaling $105 million, had been approved by Congress and the State Department, and requested by the Pentagon. Interestingly, proponents of the package argued that it would allow the Lebanese Army to grow more independent, making it less cooperative with Hezbollah.

According to Reuters the aid was frozen two days following Tuesday's resignation of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri, who in a parting speech admitted he'd "reached a dead end" amid the protests which have reportedly involved one million people, or up to 25% of Lebanon's total population, and further called on "all Lebanese to protect civil peace".

The United States, said the report, has frequently voiced "concern over the growing role in the Beirut government of Hezbollah, the armed Shi’ite group backed by Iran and listed as a terrorist organization by the United States."

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo this week called on Beirut to take steps for a new unified government which focused on rooting out endemic corruption.

Though no specific reason was given as to why the White House has targeted Lebanon for an aid freeze, Trump has lately signaled his disdain for the amount of foreign aid Washington hands out around the world, seemingly with no strings attached.

On Friday, an Israeli media report revealed that officials in Tel Aviv had lobbied the White House to condition any US Lebanese aid based on the country removing advanced arms in possession of Hezbollah something it should be noted that Lebanon's national forces are likely incapable of, given the Shia paramilitary organization is actually considered stronger.
The Foreign Ministry ordered Israeli diplomats “in all relevant countries,” including the US and European states, to emphasize the need to cease providing aid to Lebanon as long as the Iran-backed Hezbollah terror organization does not cease upgrading its military capabilities that could target Israel, the official added. — Times of Israel

“In discreet talks with various capitals, we made it clear that any aid meant to guarantee the stability of Lebanon needs to be conditioned on Lebanon dealing with Hezbollah’s precision-guided missiles,” a senior official told The Times of Israel. “Anything short of that will be problematic, in our eyes.”

This could mark a big first step in Trump cutting of aid to 'dysfunctional' governments and/or governments made up of elements which are hostile to the United States, as is the case with the designated group Hezbollah.

THE SURGE: U.S. DOJ AND TRUMP TO FURTHER MILITARIZE POLICE -- $600 BILLION IN EQUIPMENT

Police-State-1024x576-1024x576-1024x576-1024x576-1024x576-1024x576.jpg

U.S. President Donald Trump is using his executive order signed in 2017 to expand the militarized police forces across the nation in preparation to launch a sweeping crackdown on crime that Trump referenced was “the surge” according to a press event at the International Association of Chiefs of Police Annual Conference and Exposition.

“In the coming weeks, Attorney General Barr will announce a new crackdown on violent crime — which I think is so important — targeting gangs and drug traffickers in high crime cities and dangerous rural areas,” Trump said during the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference in Chicago. “Let’s call it the surge,” the White House press release reads.

The President didn’t provide any details on the plan but he stated that the actions would be “very dramatic.”

Trump further expressed his administration’s “achievements” like putting military equipment into the hands of U.S. police officers, as Activist Post reported.

Trump then claimed “Afghanistan is a safe place” compared to Chicago and these actions would help to “keep you safe, I’ve made $600 million-worth of surplus military equipment available to local law enforcement,” Trump told the audience of police chiefs. “If you remember, the previous administration didn’t want to do that… They didn’t want to make you look so tough. They didn’t want to make you look like you’re a threat.

Speaking of Afghanistan, here’s U.S. Marine Sgt. Shamar Thomas (who served in the war on terror) voicing himself during Occupy in 2011 reminding you that the streets aren’t a war zone and to lay down your weapons.

Here’s another powerful video where a veteran destroys a New Hampshire town hall for getting armored vehicles from the feds:

In 2017, U.S. President Donald Trump repealed a ban set in place by the Obama administration barring law enforcement from being able to purchase military equipment.

That executive order by Obama effectively banned armored vehicles and large-caliber weapons from being acquired by local police departments across the nation, which effectively declares war on America’s streets, NY Post reported.

Obama’s Executive order 13688 banned the use of Defense Department armored vehicles, bayonets, grenade launchers, camouflage uniforms, and large-caliber weapons and ammunition from America’s law enforcement. With that act now repealed, Trump is allowing weapons made for war onto the streets of the United States – weapons that are designed to kill.

That’s not all the order prohibited; the purchase of weaponized aircraft such as drones, manned aircraft, armored and tactical vehicles command and control vehicles and more, according to Popular Mechanics.

At the time of the ban, Obama said that he was enacting the order because “equipment made for the battlefield is not appropriate for local police departments.”

“So we’re going to prohibit some equipment made for the battlefield that is not appropriate for local police departments,” Obama said. “There’s other equipment that may be needed in certain cases, but only with proper training.”

Congress enacted the National Defense Authorization Act in 1990, then called the 1208 program. In 1997, Congress replaced Section 1208 of the NDAA with Section 1033, which allowed the Pentagon to give their excess equipment to police fighting the war on drugs. They further added a section about counterterrorism to the bill, opening up a new list of equipment to be used by the police for whatever reason they saw fit under the 1033 program.

Its worth mentioning again that plans previously seen by USA Today claimed back in 2017 showed that the Trump Administration wanted to restore “the full scope of a longstanding program for recycling surplus, life-saving gear from the Department of Defense, along with restoring the full scope of grants used to purchase this type of equipment from other sources.”

“Assets that would otherwise be scrapped can be re-purposed to help state, local and tribal law enforcement better protect public safety and reduce crime.

“Much of the equipment provided through the 1033 program is entirely defensive in nature … that protect officers in active shooter scenarios and other dangerous situations,” the Trump administration proposal said.

It seems that U.S. President Donald Trump wants to reignite the war on drugs, gangs and much more – all wars that past administrations have failed to stop. While at the same time Trump wants to militarize the police for our “safety” by handing out formerly used military equipment like it is free candy. And not to mention the facial recognition cameras that police will be getting as recycled technology eventually over the next coming years.

Remember that time under Obama recorded by the ACLU that police departments were being offered tanks and an RPG? Now, what the hell does a police department need with a rocket launcher and a tank or any of these weapons? In a large-scale terrorist attack, launching any type of explosive weapon risks innocents being killed and is a danger to public safety.

Even if it were for a strictly defensive purpose, this dangerous shift in policy would eventually be abused in some form of corruption like the security guards who falsely operated as law enforcement at the Navy’s base who stocked up on all this military gear and more for eleven long years without being caught … all on the taxpayers’ dime. That’s not all – since 9/11 police departments across the country have been able to acquire U.S. military equipment. All that banned equipment can now be used likely in a riot-type scenario like we have seen across the U.S. for the past couple months as Antifa, White Supremacist groups and Trump supporters clash on the streets. However, just remember the target is eventually you.

Watch Trump’s shocking speech on further militarizing the police state below:

You got to hand it to Trump Jr. – a day before he goes as a guest on The View he retweets the name of the whistleblower Ciaramella. Thus, it becomes an irresistible talking point for the vultures on The View, since in their emotionally driven thinking (if you can call it that) they just want to point out all the faults they can find of anyone named Trump. Didn't they understand, that by bringing up the subject, millions of new people, not familiar with the fact, will want to check out the tweet and/or who the whistleblower is? Also, by accusing and reprimanding him of doin this, they simultaneously give credit to the fact that this is in fact the name of the whistleblower. Well played by the Trump team, IMO

I'm maybe too optimistic in my interpretation, but this is how I saw it. And I think that this is exactly the Achilles heel of these leftist crazies – their self importance and ideologically driven thinking makes them poor strategists and in their greed they easily take "the bait".

Added: that Trump Jr. also managed to throw in the things about Behar's 'blackface' and Whoopi's "not rape-rape" in the midst of all the vultures shouting was a nice bonus!
