Trump orders attack on Syria, asks for other countries to join him.

Read on Zero Hedge :

Evidence which has emerged in the aftermath of the attack at Khan Sheikhoun indicates that not only was the nature of the attack misreported by the media, but that certain individuals on the ground in Syria may have had foreknowledge of the attack up to several days before it happened. On April 3rd, 2017, an anti-Assad journalist tweeted that the next day he would be launching a media campaign to cover airstrikes on the Hama countryside, including the use of chemical weapons. It is not clear how the reporter was able to know that chemical weapons would be used an entire day before the attacks occurred.

Observers further noted that on April 1st, 2017, a doctor on the ground in Khan Sheikhoun, Dr. Shajul Islam, had received several shipments of gas masks in the days running up to the chemical incident. The revelations on Twitter fueled speculation that opposition figures were aware of the chemical attack days before it actually happened, contesting the narrative that the Syrian government was responsible. Daily Mail has reported that Dr. Shajul Islam was at one point sought by the British government in connection with the abduction of two journalists in Syria, and security services have stated that Islam and his brother may have had ties to ISIS executioner "Jihadi John."

I think the way to get a read on this situation is to look closer at some of the smaller or apparently insignificant details and the context in which this event occurred. Also, I think such events are usually designed to serve multiple purposes, and there are other purposes that can be served from an opportunistic pov.

I'm starting to strongly consider, that this missile incident was a pre-planned and organized Game Plan between Putin and Trump? Might be the reason for the report that CIA heads and Intelligence were absent from Trump's meeting? Many in the intelligence community are on Trump's side and might have been working behind the scenes and coordinating with Russian Military during this event? The fact - that Russian Military were at sea conducting a drill during the same time frame - as U.S. missile strikes were hitting the Base, is another factor to consider?

The Shayrat airbase that the U.S. military targeted is also symbolic of another incident, namely the March 17th downing of a Israeli plane by the Syrian military. The Syrian plane that shot down the Israeli plane and damaged another was stationed at Shayrat Air Force base. I reason, that might be one of the reasons Netanyahu was over-joyed that Trump hit that base?

Speaking of Netanyahu and Israel's involvement in Syria, along with Erdogan's activities, I wonder if this "air strike" has something to do with eventually forcing Israel and Turkey out of Syria?

The Israeli military said it shot down one of numerous anti-aircraft missiles launched on Friday at its air force which was operating in Syria, in a rare such incident that spilled over into neighboring countries.

The Syrian army said it had shot down an Israeli jet during the operation. Israel denied this, saying that all its aircraft had returned unscathed.

Before Tuesday's attack on the rebel-held town of Khan Sheikhoun, which killed 89 people, Haley had said toppling Assad was not a priority. President Donald Trump, before his election, described fighting ISIS and seeking Assad's removal at the same time as "idiocy."

But after seeing images of the horrific aftermath of the chemical attack, US President Donald Trump ordered a bombardment of the Shayrat airbase in western Syria, which the US believes was the launchpad for the strike. It was the first time that the US had struck the Syrian regime since the start of the six-year civil war.

Of course, Natanyahu took a hissy-fit because Syria took the option of defending itself, then go one step further by blaming Putin via Israel's Haaretz:
Israeli Media Blames Putin For Syria’s Decision to Defend Itself Against Israeli Airstrikes
_http://russia-insider.com/en/unreal-israeli-media-blames-putin-syrias-lack-restraint/ri19246

This flagrant violation of Israel's right to bomb Syria unmolested "changed the rules of the game", writes Haaretz.

Presumably the Syrian anti-aircraft salvo was a signal to Israel that the regime’s policy of restraint in the face of the airstrikes will not remain as it was. President Bashar Assad’s recent successes – first and foremost the conquest of Aleppo – have seemingly increased the dictator’s confidence. Israel will have to decide whether the operational need – to thwart advanced weapons shipments to Hezbollah – also justifies the possible risk of the downing of an Israeli fighter jet and a broader conflict developing with Syria.

There is an interesting question as to whether the aircraft detection radar system was deployed by Israel’s new great friend, Russia, precisely one week after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu returned from Moscow after yet another successful visit to see President Vladimir Putin.

One can imagine that the intelligence community will also be interested to learn whether the Syrian decision to fire back was coordinated with Assad’s collaborators and partners: Russia, Iran and Hezbollah.

Ankara seeks “to absorb northern Syria into the greater Turkey,” because the Turkish authorities want to take possession of Syrian water and oil resources, says Richard Hayden Black, an Republican member of the Virginia state Senate.

Turkey uses terrorist groups like Daesh and al-Qaeda to carry out ethnic cleansing in northern Syria and pave the ground for Ankara's dominance there, the senator told Press TV on Tuesday.

Cavusoglu referred to the Euphrates Shield Operation in Northern Syria by the Turkey-backed militants, and told reporters that the Turkish forces have not yet moved towards Manbij but they will start operations in the region soon.

His remarks came as the military council of Manbij announced in a statement that the Kurdish forces will surrender the villages bordering the areas occupied by the Turkey-backed Euphrates Shield Operation militants to the Syrian army. The statement said that based on an agreement with the Russian side, the control of these villages will be given to the Syrian government's border guards.

It added that the measure will be taken to maintain the security of civilians residing in Manbij and the surrounding areas as well as regions bordering al-Bab in the Western side of Manbij, and take on the greed of Turkey to occupy the Syrian territories.

The resolution states Russia, Iran as well as Iranian-backed militias must stop operations in Syria as soon as possible and allow the flow of the humanitarian aid into the worn-torn areas, particularly in those controlled by opposition forces.

Then on March 17th, a Syrian plane shot down the Israeli plane.

The chemical weapons attack in Idlib province, which rebel groups claim was committed by the Syrian army, bears similarities to the "false flag" attack carried out by jihadists in Ghouta in 2013, Middle Eastern expert Michael Lueders told Germany's ZDF television.

'Dirty Geopolitical Game': West-Backed Jihadis Carried Out Syria Chemical Attack
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201704091052464961-syria-false-flag-attack-jihadists/

[...] Lueders recalled the chemical weapons attack carried out August 21 2013, in which over 1000 people in Ghouta, a suburb of Damascus, were killed after rockets containing sarin gas struck opposition-controlled areas.

Following that incident, the US condemned the Syrian government, accusing Damascus of carrying out the attack, an allegation it denied.

On August 30 2013, the White House said it had assessed "with high confidence" that the Syrian government carried out the chemical attack on Ghouta, raising the prospect of a US strike against Syrian forces. In 2012, President Barack Obama had called the potential use of chemical weapons by Assad "a red line" which may change his view on US military intervention there.

In the aftermath of the attack, the Pentagon made preparations for a strike on Syrian forces. However, Obama made a surprise U-turn and asked for the approval of Congress first, which declined to give permission for the strike.

Obama did so after receiving new intelligence which shed doubt on the US presumption of guilt of the Syrian army, Lueders said. The new evidence pointed not to the involvement of the Syrian government in the Ghouta attack, but of the al-Nusra front in collaboration with Turkish intelligence services.

Why didn't he give the order? Because his own intelligence told him to be careful since US and UK intelligence had examined the chemical gas used in Ghouta and had come to the conclusion that the sarin found there was not the same as that found in the Syrian army's stocks."

They suspected that this was a collaboration between the al-Nusra front, one of the most evil jihadist groups, al-Qaeda's subsidiary in Syria, and the Turkish intelligence services."

"Turkey had evidently armed the al-Nusra front with sarin gas. In June 2013, there was an investigation by the US intelligence services, which you can read, that clearly says, 'we know that Turkey has equipped the al-Nusra front and other groups with sarin gas and they are producing sarin gas themselves.'"

[...] On Tuesday, the Syrian National Coalition of Revolution and Opposition Forces, which was formed in Qatar in 2012, reported that some 80 people were killed and 200 injured in a chemical attack on civilians in Khan Shaykhun, a town in the Idlib governorate of northwestern Syria.

In retaliation at the alleged attack the US launched an airstrike on the Syrian army's Sha'irat airbase. However, the US has failed to find proof of the existence of chemical weapons at the airfield.

My question is, if it's true, "what channel" Trump use to coordinate with Russia?

Well, I am no expert in this, but my guess is that Trump currently has no means of communication with Russia without the 'deep state' getting wind of it. If, and that's a big if, he somehow coordinated the attacks with Putin (besides the official forewarning) in a strategic way, it probably was more based on a 'silent understanding'. That's just speculation of course, fwiw.

Just what were those devices on the table in Trump's improvised Mar-a-Lago war room? Security experts analyze the high-tech boxes (Photo)
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4395330/Mysterious-tech-Trump-s-Mar-Lago-war-room-analyzed.html

* While Obama's war rooms had plenty of laptops, Trump's only had white boxes
* Experts were unfamiliar with the systems, which they believe are custom-built
* They're most likely White House microphone systems for secure communication
* They seem to be connected to a Cisco touch screen and a monitor/camera setup

It's a moment that we've seen many times before: the president and his staff overseeing a tense military operation, intently focused on a satellite link to some distant country.

But this time there was a notable difference.

While similar images from Obama's time show staff with laptops and snarled cables, photos from Thursday's Syria strike show Trump's team with just a single monitor and a mysterious array of linked boxes.

What are those boxes? It's a question that is baffling even ex-White House tech experts, Vice's Motherboard reported.

'On the far left you can see a monitor/screen with a camera on top, so that's part of a secure video conference,' said Tommy Vietor, formerly Obama's National Security Spokesman.

However, the black-and-white boxes were unknown to him.

'The one in front of Reince looks like there are maybe cable inputs or a headphone jack but I don't know,' he said.

'They could be little displays, or maybe just receivers to pick up audio?'

He added that if they were performing a video teleconference with the Secretary of Defense and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, he 'would strongly suspect' that the technology was secure White House communications equipment.

Brian Roemmele, founder of credit card terminal company 1st American Card Service, said that the boxes were unique to the White House.

He tweeted that the black box visible in front of the TV was 'a Cisco TelePresence Touch 8' while the white boxes were 'custom participant interfaces.'

Like Vieto and Roemmele, Justin Iovine, a presentation service technician at VICE's Brooklyn offices, agreed that the white boxes were custom-made receivers.

He added that 'They are most likely using a codec [data encoding device] for the telepresence,' in order to get 'one-to-one communication, or multiple secure controlled connections.'

Concerns about security at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate were sparked in February, when photos showed the president and Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe discussing North Korean missile tests in a public dining room.

One member of the public even took a photo with a man they claimed was responsible for carrying America's nuclear football.

But Vieto said that 'while Trump's staff is incompetent, the White House Communications Agency are bada** and professional.'

A statement issued on Sunday by a joint command centre consisting of forces of Russian, Iran and allied militia alliance supporting Syrian President Bashar al Assad said that Friday's US strike on the Syrian air base crossed “red lines” and it would "respond with force" to any new aggression while increasing their level of support to their ally.

From now on we will respond with force to any aggressor or any breach of red lines from whoever it is and America knows our ability to respond well." (Article continues.)

The Seamass' link to the article from Sputnik News and that Konashenkov's comment is highly encouraging and very much supports what you've offered as the possibility in the first sentence.

There is a possibility that the Russians "allowed" the attack to take place and do "some" damage so as to have a rational explanation why they are strengthening and modernising Syrian air defense throughout the country (especially down south near Golan and Damascus), and not just in the areas sensitive to Russian Aerospace Forces or Navy.

Cui malo?

The ones who like to strike now weakened and exhausted Syria often and at whim - those in the second sentence.

I now have little doubt this Idlib CW false flag they helped accredit for the US strikes is going to come back and hit them in the head.

Oh boy.

Check this brain flash out:

We have seen this scenario, almost identical in both timing and spirit, unfold before in the Bay of Pigs fiasco...

~~~
When Kennedy entered the White House in January 1961, he inherited from his predecessor, Dwight D. Eisenhower, an ongoing conflict with the leftist regime in Cuba. Aided by Soviet-bloc weaponry, Fidel Castro (reportedly) led a brutal clampdown on human rights and dissent[...]
Kennedy authorized Operation Zapata, the attempt to overthrow Cuba’s communist leader on April 15. (Note the date.)
The resulting Bay of Pigs Invasion was a failed military invasion undertaken by the CIA-sponsored paramilitary group Brigade 2506 on 17 April 1961.
~~~

The parallels between that historical black spot and the events in Syria seem eerily evident.

-Kennedy, also a freshly minted president, had to swallow his pride and make the horrid choice of toeing the party line on the ill-advised and illegal war actions against Cuba, publicly making what appeared to be a 180 degree turn from his normal political stance. Thing is.., according to Fletcher Prouty "The 'Bay of Pigs' plan did not originate during the Kennedy administration. It had been inherited, full-blown." It had its own momentum and was operating outside of normal military command, through CIA back channels largely, according to Prouty, with a mind of its own.

Now the Kennedy/Bay of Pigs/CIA and Trump/Syria/CIA dramas are not absolute parallels of one another, the details are skewed across different players and values, but the performance IS similar enough that when I landed on this thought, well.., I must admit to being rather stunned. I was quite eager to post the observation here.

Where the heck else does one post such a thought? At the risk of boring people through repetition and reiteration.., (Ha ha! Get it?) -I am of the general belief that when Gurdjieff and others describe the universe as being mechanical and time being cyclical, I should find it only natural that such historical parallels constantly pop up. The question is...

What can be learned from it?

(You can read Fletcher Prouty's account of the Bay of Pigs from his unique perspective as deep state insider here... http://www.prouty.org/bay_pigs.html )

President Trump launched the missile attack little more than 24 hours after his daughter Ivanka tweeted: ‘Heartbroken and outraged by the images coming out of Syria following the atrocious chemical attack.’ Until that point, the White House had been blaming Barack Obama’s policy in the region for the Assad atrocity, which claimed dozens of lives.

After the attacks, despite previously saying US should "stay the hell out of Syria", Ivanka tweeted "The times we are living in call for difficult decisions – proud of my father for refusing to accept these horrendous crimes against humanity."

I don't think that would have been the case, as a) Trump seems quite antagonistic vis-a-vis China, and b) the Chinese delegation would also be under electronic surveillance. The only absolutely secure way to inform the Russians would be by a messenger who delivers the information face-to-face, for that the time would not have been long enough.

Of course it is possible, that the Chinese and/or Russian have communications technology that is impervious to American eavesdropping, but whether or not they would have that at an official meeting in another country (with the risk of "loosing" this technology and having it retroengineered by their US counterpart) and willing to use it, is in my view highly questionable.

Is Rex Tillerson the next victim of the Neocon's?

US President Donald Trump’s administration is partly responsible for the incident with the use of chemical weapons in the Syrian city of Idlib because the remarks made by US State Secretary Rex Tillerson provoked it, US Senator John McCain said.

“I think it probably was partially to blame … And Secretary Tillerson basically saying the same thing after kind of contradicting himself and then saying the same thing argues vigorously for a plan and a strategy,” McCain told the CBS broadcaster in a response whether Tillerson’s remarks facilitated the use of chemical weapons, which the US administration blames on Assad.

Moscow is not going to fight US troops in Syria, a senior Russian lawmaker told Sputnik.

'Russia Not Going to Conduct Armed Activity With US' - MP on Syria Developments
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201704101052478240-russia-us-armed-actions-syria/

The Russian Aerospace Forces and its vessels are tasked with supporting the Syrian government's anti-terrorism efforts, not conducting armed activity with the United States, Russian senator Victor Ozerov told Sputnik on Monday.

Russia is not going there to conduct armed activity with the US, our task there is to support the Syrian armed forces in the fight against terrorism," Ozerov, chairman of the Russian upper house defense and security committee, said.

He stressed that "we have a mandate to fulfill this very task."

The return of Russia’s Admiral Grigorovich-class frigate to the Mediterranean Sea is planned and not related to last week's US missile attack on Syria, the senator said.

"You cannot deploy such a ship in one day. This rotation is planned; the Admiral Grigorovich escorted the Admiral Kuznetsov [aircraft carrier], and is now back," he said. "Admiral Grigorovich is quite an effective ship; we have already attacked militants from its deck. Thus, this is not so much about the moral support for the Syrian armed forces in the fight against terrorists, as it is about fire cover," he elaborated.

The Black Sea Fleet frigate returned to the Russian Navy's permanent group in the Mediterranean Sea after taking part in bilateral Russian-Turkish exercises during an unofficial visit by the Turkish warships to Russia’s southern port of Novorossiysk, Black Sea Fleet spokesman Сapt. 1st Rank Vyacheslav Trukhachev said.

What Americans did was a strategic mistake, and they are repeating the same mistakes done by their predecessors,” Khamenei said at a meeting with senior Iranian Armed Forces commanders in Tehran, as quoted by the Fars news agency.

He also accused the United States of supporting terrorism in the region.

“Former US officials created ISIL [Daesh] or helped it, and present officials are reinvigorating ISIL and similar groups,” Khamenei said.
