Tucker Carlson interviews & ideologies

Yes, you are right, this is an excellent interview. There is so much more discussed than in other videos I've seen of him and Tucker asks some very good questions.

@Laura posted on X (formerly Twitter): If you love your family and friends and hope for a future with them, watch this. Then you will know what to do.

I am not sure I understand exactly what Laura was getting at "you will know what to do" after watching it. However, this was a good conversation.

From my point of view, as I have been observing geopolitics a bit more closely during the past of couple years during this Ukraine proxy war, it is nice to see a journalist like Tucker sitting down and interviewing someone like Colonel Douglas Macgregor.

I am considering to share this interview more widely to friends who are not on social media. I don't know just yet, but I am tempted to do so because it sounds so calm and reasonable and rational! Maybe at least a few people might appreciate hearing a discussion done in this manner by someone who gives the impression he knows what he is talking about, and yet it is also a discussion that is in complete disagreement with the mainstream narrative.

My guess is "what to do" is vote for Trump in 2024.

I cant find the below post by Laura, if someone has time can you point me in the right direction. (Im failing with the search feature)

Laura did not post here on the forum, she made a posting on Twitter, where she shared a link to the Tucker interview of Macgregor. However, now that posting now seems to be deleted when I checked a moment ago. Anyways, the more important thing was the interview, not so much the twitter (or now "X") posting.

Leftist Heads Explode: Tucker Carlson Is in Negotiations to Interview Vladimir Putin

Russia Today, the pro-Putin state-owned media outlet reported this news earlier today.
Former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson has been seeking an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan said on Sunday.

“[Carlson] is strongly requesting an interview with Vladimir Putin,” Simonyan said on a talk show aired by Rossiya-1 TV channel. “It would be great, if someone listens and notifies the president about this.”

Carlson has not commented on the matter. Putin rarely gives one-on-one interviews to foreign media. His last lengthy conversation with a Western journalist was an interview with CNBC anchor Hadley Gamble on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week forum in Moscow in October 2021.

‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’, which aired on Fox from 2016 and 2023, was the highest-rated show on US cable news. Carlson was abruptly fired from the channel in April. According to the journalist, the termination was one of the conditions of the settlement Fox News reached with the Dominion Voting Systems, which sued the channel for defamation over its coverage of the US 2020 presidential election.

TUCKER: The NSA hacked my Signal account over planned Putin interview!

‘Tucker Carlson was called to Washington because of a possible interview with Putin.

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson said the US National Security Agency hacked into his Signal account and read correspondence about a planned interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to the presenter, he received a call and was summoned to Washington to clarify the situation. When he arrived, the question was asked if he was planning a trip to meet with Putin.

“How did you know, I didn’t tell anyone. Not at all. Not to my brother, not to my wife, not to anyone at all. How did you know? Because the NSA hacked into your correspondence with another person with whom you discussed this,” Carlson said.

The day before, RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan said that Tucker Carlson wants to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin.’

The Tucker/Orban interview:

Just wanted to share what he had to say about Trump and Ukraine:

[Tucker] So if you were in charge of NATO if you were say Joe Biden uh what would your next move be in the war in Ukraine what would you do peace immediately?

[Orban} Call back Trump. That's that's the only way out. Call back trump. Call back Trump because you know you can criticize him for many reasons I understand all the all the discussions but you know the best (US) foreign policy of the recent several decades belong to him

He did not initiate any new war. Yes, he treated nicely the North Koreans and Russia, even the Chinese.

You know he delivered the policy which was the best one for Middle East - Abraham Accord - yes, so so that was a very good foreign policy.

He uh you know he's criticized that he is not educated enough to understand the world. This is not the case. Fact counts and his foreign policy was the best for the world in the last several decades I have seen. And if he would have been the president at the moment of the Russian invasion started it would be not possible to do that by the Russians.

So Trump is the man who can save the Western World and probably the human beings in the globe as well. That's that's my personal conviction.

I must say that I'm impressed by how Orban appeared. He's just on another level compared to the Polish president, who struggles with English syntax and is happy if he even says something that is grammatically correct, let alone convey a thought. When Orban spoke about how they are proud of Hungarian culture because they are somewhat culturally unique in that part of the world, it almost made my eyes wet :) I was also impressed by his understanding that the military superpower needs a strong leader like Putin because instability could be devastating. My respect for him has been raised, and I can't even imagine how he can be compared with Polish faux-patriotic politicians by the media.

I was also very positively "surprised" (not really, though) on what Orban had to say. It seems like he is the last sane person left in the European Union on any high level. He also doesn't strike me as a typical political robot. More like a normal human being who is not calculating everything he says. He strikes me as pretty straight forward and not shy of calling a spade a spade.
