Question I have about this now is that flash. If you stop the video right at the flash(es) (you prolly need to download it to slow it down to the right point)l, you see that the entire old city area is bathed, for a split second, in an intense light. So my question is, wouldn't a lot of people in the vicinity of the old city have seen this? Wouldn't they have reported it? Wouldn't it be in the local papers? Was it in the local papers? Thinking about it, if I lived in the middle of a city, with lights on all night, and I saw a very fast and momentary flash of light, I might not think much of it, at least, I might not call immediately call the police or the papers.

I think that's the case - if anyone did notice it, lightening would likely come to mind first, even if there were no clouds - and then - even if they thought, 'wow, that was weird', they'll likely just sweep it under the rug as 'one of those things'. Most people in a lighted city might not even notice it at all, especially if they're inside watching TV or whatever - and those outside could write it off to lightening or 'weirdness' and keep on moving along, assuming they registered it at all.

i've never seen such a controversy about a youtube video, there are a lot who wish to "dubunk" it, as if this particular event triggered some emotional reaction about it. I mean, there are hundreds of ufos in facebook, whether hoaxes or real. this one is special.

The flash could be rationalized as lightning, someone nearby taking a picture, a light bulb failing (on a street light), a flashing TV in your own house, a police siren or car headlights, etc. You'd pretty much have to be outside and see the UFO to care, or maybe if the flash was more intense and lasted longer or something.

That's my question as well.

Why the flash? What is the purpose of such a powerful strobe light. Last time I saw such a light was on June 24th 2010. http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=18447.msg173726#msg173726. The strobe light was of the same strength, impossible to miss if someone was looking in that direction but surprisingly even if the craft flew directly over a park where hundreds were celebrating, I didn't hear anyone in town saying that they saw something that night. The C's, if I remember correctly, said that strobe light are sometime use for mind programming and I remember reading that it effect travel to a certain distance, a few km. Strobe light are use to make you not see, to hide things. Maybe, just maybe the video man/woman were outside of the perimeter or, were not affected by it as most were.

I know, this sound like the men in Black using their small device to erase memory from undesired witnesses in the Hollywood movie of the same name but, when you think that they are ten of thousands of years in advance on us, this is maybe just a petty gadget indeed for them.

The video, as you can see, starts immediately with the third (taken by tourists) video. Don't know if they ever showed the first or the second one, but the guy who talks in the background mentions how every first video that is uploaded on Youtube is always a suspect to be a hoax. The whole tone is dismissive and sarcastic. Then they are waiting for the light to do something, and meanwhile are talking about other cases of similar light in the 70s and another picture of UFO taken near military aircraft, and some others in 90s.

Then they are asking for the opinion of an expert who says that to everything there is a logical explanation. Sometimes we are talking about a very rare meteorological phenomena, but it is definitely not a UFO. Then the expert says that there are two possibilities, or these tourists completely fabricated and staged the event, or it is a natural phenomena like lightning or some other light, and these people made an honest mistake.

I find it very interesting that they didn't bring up the first or second videos, and that makes the third video as highly suspect. Or they took the one that was the hardest to refute.

It was my first thought that it was filmed off an LCD screen and that the image was static.

I've attached images of the flash to this post. It's strange that also the street lights are increasing in brightness, which suggests to me that it is image manipulation.

The pulsating flash seen is very very like the flashes I have seen on a number of occasions .This is when i see a flash in the night sky and a few seconds after i see a lit object moving high up in the sky.

At present i have no idea if what we are seeing is fake or not.Its difficult to tell for me as im not after proof of the existence of these types of things. Ive seen enough strangeness to know something is happening .

Woodsman your thoughts regarding the not zooming in with the camera to get a closer look , which often happens with most videos of this kind , has got me on the side of the see saw lfalling into the fake zone.
