Yanni - Standing in Motion (Remastered) (Last one post since I am going a bit over the top with Yanni today. But his team's music I have always loved a lot, and there are many more beautiful tracks on YouTube as well. Cheers)
I typically listen to classical, blues, jazz, and rock music. However, I stumbled upon an independent artist recently and I am really impressed with the quality of her music. The compositions are excellent. She utilises a lot of literary devices within her lyrics as well (metaphor, double entandre, etc cetera).
Toccata and Fugue in D-minor played by Gert van Hoef of the Netherlands upon the organ in the church of St Stephen in Hasselt (Stephanuskerk Hasselt), built between 1380 and 1466.
Dorian Concept fooling around on a little synth. Playful little tune using a looper on a Yamaha Reface CS. I actually own one of these, really intuitive and simple to use.
Just to provide context, here is Dorian Concept jamming live. It's basically freak out jazz funk using a beatbox, a mixer/sequencer and a synth. He's a really talented player.
Ah it's friday night and I'm listening to rock n roll. This is a curious Rolling Stones song about the ageing process. Featuring a furious guitar solo at the end while Mick sings "you're gonna kiss those days goodbye". Great song. They were a kick ass band back in the seventies.
