Prince Lincoln is one of the best Jamaican reggae singer. He has always had conscious lyrics during his dedicated career.

THRASHER by Neil Young

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t00MXZKbW0M

--------
They were hiding behind hay bales,
They were planting in the full moon
They had given all they had for something new
But the light of day was on them,
They could see the thrashers coming
And the water shone like diamonds in the dew.

And I was just getting up, hit the road before it's light
Trying to catch an hour on the sun
When I saw those thrashers rolling by,
Looking more than two lanes wide
I was feelin' like my day had just begun.

Where the eagle glides ascending
There's an ancient river bending
Down the timeless gorge of changes
Where sleeplessness awaits
I searched out my companions,
Who were lost in crystal canyons
When the aimless blade of science
Slashed the pearly gates.

It was then I knew I'd had enough,
Burned my credit card for fuel
Headed out to where the pavement turns to sand
With a one-way ticket to the land of truth
And my suitcase in my hand
How I lost my friends I still don't understand.

They had the best selection,
They were poisoned with protection
There was nothing that they needed,
Nothing left to find
They were lost in rock formations
Or became park bench mutations
On the sidewalks and in the stations
They were waiting, waiting.

So I got bored and left them there,
They were just deadweight to me
Better down the road without that load
Brings back the time when I was eight or nine
I was watchin' my mama's T.V.,
It was that great Grand Canyon rescue episode.

Where the vulture glides descending
On an asphalt highway bending
Thru libraries and museums, galaxies and stars
Down the windy halls of friendship
To the rose clipped by the bullwhip
The motel of lost companions
Waits with heated pool and bar.

But me I'm not stopping there,
Got my own row left to hoe
Just another line in the field of time
When the thrashers comes, I'll be stuck in the sun
Like the dinosaurs in shrines
But I'll know the time has come
To give what's mine.

I got to share with you a piece of Chinese traditional music that I go gaga over:
http://new.music.yahoo.com/phases-of-the-moon/tracks/days-of-emancipation--749312

When I was a teen and into Kung Fu, this music was played at training and I've loved instrumental chinese traditional music ever since.
The Days of Emancipation song is so lyrical it brings tears to my eyes and joy at the same time (and goose bumps; aka chicken skin for some of you Europeans)

Weezer: My Name is Jonas

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6542632746552393801&ei=fmKxSbiCEpaEqQPfk4HpAw&q=my+name+is+jonas

My name is Jonas.
I'm carrying the wheel.
Thanks for all you've shown us.
This is how we feel.

Come sit next to me,
Pour yourself some tea.
Just like Grandma made
When we couldn't find sleep.
Things were better then,
Once but never again.
We've all left the den,
Let me tell you 'bout it.

Choo-choo train left right on time.
A ticket costs only your mind.
The driver said, "Hey, man, we go all the way!"

Of course we were willing to pay!

My name is Wepil.
Gotta box full of your toys.
They're fresh out of batteries,
But they're still makin' noise, makin' noise.
Tell me what to do,
Now the tank is dry.
Now this wheel is flat,
And you know what else?
Guess what I received,
In the mail today.
Words of deep concern from my little brother.

The building's not goin' as he planned.
The foreman has injured his hand.
The dozer will not clear a path.
The driver swears he learned his math.

The Workers are going Home.
The Workers are going Home.
The Workers are going Home.
The Workers are going Home.

My name is Jonas.

A girl I work with showed an interest in material that was very similar to the material available on this site. I introduced her to the breathing program that is available on this site (she doesn't have access to the internet). Since I was previously in medical school I had an anatomy book available and as we listened to the introduction together I used the book to help her see the anatomy of the Vagus nerve and its connections to the diaphragm, heart, and the musculature of the throat as well as to the brain. After the initial informative introduction we watched the introductory video to the three stage breathing and Ba-Ha (spelling?) breathing techniques. We have been doing the breathing program for the past two weeks together. She is currently learning the Prayer of the Soul. Interestingly, she has been experiencing quite a bit of synchronicity and deja vu which has more or less become "old news" to me but very new to her. She is also going through a lot of hell not only at work and with her home life as well. I gave her The Wave book part one and she just loves you Laura! She especially loved watching you on the Eiriu Eolas program. What you said really resonated with her.

In her very first breathing session she zoned out and upon "awakening" she said she "felt" the number 502 to be something of importance. Of course, it could mean nothing at all or perhaps not who knows. The next breathing session was much more intense and she started to see faces in addition to a very bright blue light. This past Monday when we planned on doing the session something came up that kept us from actually doing it. (I'd like to make the note that it is because of her of interest that I started to do the breathing again in the first place. I will admit that I am weak when it comes to having the willpower to do something that I see will only benefit myself. I know that, in reality, it may not only benefit myself but others as well. I just have a hard time making such a thing "real" to me since I feel myself to be of zero importance in the scheme of things!

Anyway, the reason I'm writing this post is not only to begin once again to become an active member of this forum (I have so much catching up to do!), but to post a song that the girl I work with wanted to listen to after watching the Crossovers from another Dimension video on crop circles and also to share what I feel to be a beautiful experience! It was after I mentioned to her that my favorite crop cirlce was the one that looked like a DNA helix wrapped onto itself that she mentioned the following song:

It was the one that represented The Goddess of All Creation. The following is that song:

Noah and the Whale - Five Years Time

Oh well in five years time we could be walking round a zoo
With the sun shining down over me and you
And there'll be love in the bodies of the elephants too
And I'll put my hands over your eyes, but you'll peep through

And there'll be sun sun sun
All over our bodies
And sun sun sun
All down our necks (?)
And sun sun sun
All over our faces
And sun sun sun

So what the heck

Cos I'll be laughing at all your silly little jokes
And we'll be laughing about how we used to smoke
All those stupid little cigarettes
And drink stupid wine
Cos it's what we needed to have a good time

And it was fun fun fun
When we were drinking
It was fun fun fun
When we were drunk
And it was fun fun fun
When we were laughing
It was fun fun fun
Oh it was fun

Oh well I look at you and say
It's the happiest that I've ever been
And I'll say I no longer feel I have to be James Dean
And she'll say
Yah well I feel all pretty happy too
And I'm always pretty happy when I'm just kicking back with you

And it'll be
Love love love
All through our bodies
And love love love
All through our minds
And it be Love love love
All over her face
And Love love love
All over mine

Although maybe all these moments are just in my head
I'll be thinking ‘bout them as I'm lying in bed
And all that I believe (?) might never really come true
But in my mind I'm havin' a pretty good time with you

Oh

Five years time
I might not know you
Five years time
We might not speak
Oh
In five years time
We might not get along
In five years time
You might just prove me wrong

Oh there'll be love love love
Wherever you go
There'll be love love love
Wherever you go
There'll be love love love
Wherever you go
There'll be love love love
Wherever you go
There'll be love love love
Wherever you go
There'll be love love love
Wherever you go
There'll be love love love

Wherever you go there'll be love

After listening to it I decided to find the page where the C's said that there were five years remaining. I had forgotten that they had also said this!:

A: 5 more years! 2 go! 0 new year!

520 or 502.

It's both strange and beautiful how the Universe works. If I hadn't met her I may not have began to do the breathing program again. She mentions this song by Noah and the Whale of all the bands that exist in the world entitled" Five Years Time! This is my first post in a long time (too long) and I would like to reconnect with everyone here and DO what is in me to do to help build this Ark! She has helped me to realize my state and is helping me to become. She helped me come up with a resolution for the new years. I like to think of it as a bread for life:

Breathe
Read
Exercise
Apply knowledge
Detox

Now, I 'll get back to catching up with all that I have missed in the past few months!
