What are you listening to?

My mother and her friends of her age (that is now my age) were in love with this man. I understand why, he moved like something their husbands were incapable to do.:lol:. I am old as my mother at that time, I think he was and still is a very handsome man with a very beautiful voice. I like to remember my mother and her friends looking at Tom Jones and dreaming about him while smoking long and thin cigarettes and taking coffee.

And here with Janis Joplin

A trio of reflective songs from Depeche Mode. Capturing the band in 1997, pushing themselves to the cutting edge of sound fidelity. All cuts are taken from their album Ultra from 1997. Evokes memories of when I bought it as an unemployed graduate that summer back then.

Vivaldi : La Follia

Vivaldi is best-known for the violin concertos known as the Four Seasons.
Many of his compositions were written for the all-female music ensemble of the Ospedale della Pietà, a home for abandoned children, where Vivaldi (who had been ordained as a Catholic priest) was employed from 1703 to 1715 and from 1723 to 1740. It's said that this piece was originally played by mysterious veiled women, all clothed in radiant white like angels and each one personally trained by Vivaldi, on a high balcony overlooking a chapel with amazing acoustics.
Now, to La Follia...
EDIT: changed to video with two young children because...it's very cool to watch them!
