Pacha mama
I am coming home
To the place Where i belong
Pacha mama I am coming home
To the place Where i belong
I want to be free So free
Like the flowers and the bees
Like the bird on the tree
Like a dolphin in the sea
I want to fly high So high
Like an eagle in the sky
And when my time has come I want to rise up and fly
And when my time has come I want to spread my wings and fly

Pachamama, I'm coming home
To the place where I belong
Pachamama, I'm coming home
To the place where I belong
I wanna be free, be me
Be the only being that I see
Not to rise and not to fall
Be at one with love and all
There is no high, no low
There is nowhere else to go
Except inside within your heart
And be just who you are
Pachamama, I'm coming home
To the place where I belong
Pachamama, I'm coming home
To the place where I belong
Pachamama, I'm coming home
To the place where I belong
Pachamama, I'm coming home
To the place where I belong

The world is in a perilous, stormy state, so I take refuge in the gentle mysticism of John Martyn. I've been listening to him for about 20 years and when times get tough, I turn to him for relief. This album, from which I share a few cuts, is one of my favourites. His music is quietly spiritual, like a soothing balm for a worried mind, and he makes this music almost completely by himself in terms of composition. A fabulous guitarist and singer in particular. Good for the soul, I hope you enjoy!

Depeche Mode, Going Backwards. This track is more cathartic, and I listen to it with war in mind, It's a tremendous anti-war song from a bunch of blokes in their late 50's. There hasn't been anything this hard-hitting in years. Taken from their underrated 2017 album Spirit, an album which reflects on our politically insane world.

More from the Mode, an ode to the strategic enclosure, Policy of Truth. If I'd told more lies in social chatter over the years, I'd have more friends today. Ah well....

Burn by Deep Purple. I haven't the foggiest idea what the lyrics are, but the general tale is about a female messiah figure surveying a war racked world Burn indeed! Music from this time seems very adventurous to me, love the mid 70's era.

Here’s a tune about our political "leaders". This is from the Gentle Giant album, The Power And The Glory, hope you all enjoy!

Gentle Giant: So Sincere

Hear, he'll do it all for you, you will see it,
Wise and knowing what to do, what to be
And every word is ...
Lies, he only tells the truth, for he means it,
Means, not anything he says, eyes unseen,
But everything is ...
So sincere, so sincere, so sincere, so sin
Yes, that is to say no, understanding
Wrong, he makes his promise right, with your hand
You'll never know why
So sincere, so sincere, so sincere, so sincere
So, sincere his thoughts so full, always empty
Good, or maybe things are bad, so sincere,
And every word is ...
So sincere, so ...
