Why did the chicken cross the road?

We ought to collect all of these into the master volume of Chicken/Road solutions.

Q: (L) Why chicken cross the other side of road ?

A: We cannot tell anyone of you this, because then you
would not learn, and if you do not learn, you do not progress
as an individual soul!

OR ...

A: We cannot tell you details of
what, or why.

Hi Bobo,
You forgot to add: A: Very likely, it would jeopardise or compromise your mission if you knew!
;)

Q: (L) Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side?
A: Close.

Maybe you could toss in that question next time and find out? :)

I was raised on Star Wars, so please forgive me. ;D

Han Solo: "Crossing the road ain't like scratching for worms, chicken! Without precise calculations we could walk right into a car or bounce too close to a semi-truck, and that'd end your trip real quick, wouldn't it?

Yoda: "Oooooh! You will know... when you are calm, at peace... indifferent."

Darth Vader (to the chicken): "Come with me, and we shall rule the road as father and chicken."

Darth Vader [2]: "You don't know the power of the Dark Side."

Darth Vader [3]: "It was his Destiny."

The Emperor: "Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design."

Obi-Wan (to Luke): "Search your feelings, Luke."
Luke: "Leia. It's Leia's fault."
-=-=-

William Wallace: "Freeedoooom!"

Aragon (LotR): My brothers, i see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come, when the courage of poultry fails, when we forsake our feathers, and break all bonds of fowlship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered wings, when the age of chickens comes crashing down, but it is not this day! This day we cross!! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you cross. (Taken from the quotes thread. ;) )

V: "I'm not questioning your powers of observation, I'm merely remarking on the paradox of asking a masked man why the chicken crossed the road."
