What does this glowing orb represent? Control of the world perhaps. And what are the black images on it? At first it looked like the Batman symbol a bit and then maybe a Phoenix. The Phoenix and the Sun. Also, Trump doesn't seem to be embracing the globe quite as enthusiastically as the Saudi fellow (sorry don't have his name)as you can see only part of his hand touches the object, maybe a hopeful sign :)

SummerLite,

Here is the NYT explication: What Was That Glowing Orb Trump Touched in Saudi Arabia?

I don't know if they are correct or not. It's still a strange thing I think especially since Saudi Arabia is a training ground for Wahhabism. :/

What do you guys make of this commotion with Kim Dotcom, Sean Hannity and Seth Rich? There's so much information floating around regarding this issue, that it's hard to see what exactly is going on.

- The corporate media is saying that Seth's parents are in great pain, because of Hannity and others pushing the "crazy conspiracy theory". On the other hand, there's a video making it's rounds where Seth's parents are saying how they endorse any attempts to solve the crime. So, the corporate media version, not unsurprisingly, is false. This version of Seth's parents are in great pain is apparently coming from the DNC's "handler" who has convinced Seth's parents that he'll handle things

- Then there's this harassing of Hannity. Twitter is literally exploding with tweets about how Hannity is a nutcase, how he should not talk about Rich during his show. At some point it was also announced that Kim Dotcom would appear as a guest. Now advertisers are pulling out they support for Hannity's show, and the MSM is doing their usual character assassination routine. It's quite obvious, that these people tweeting about "nutcase Hannity" are either totally brainwashed or paid trolls. I mean, no one has previously cared this much about a murder case being discussed on a TV-program. Ordinary people, watching their sitcoms and having their beers, why would they care what some Hannity says on his show? So, the whole commotion is obviously orchestrated.

- Then we have Kim Dotcom, who has been "teasing" with his upcoming disclosure for weeks, and still continues. What I don't get is, why would someone advertise in advance, for weeks, that he is exposing something big? Why not just come out with the information at once? Well, now he has sort of published his disclosure, which was a big flop, without any evidence.

Anyway, I'm just thinking out loud here, trying to get my head around this thing...

Thanks, the explanation sounds questionable, its bizarre and rather cheesy. Maybe they thought Trump would like the game show music.

The globe did not appear to have any magical powers, but when the king and Mr. Trump touched it, background music of the kind that might accompany a reality show’s elimination sequence or introduce a cable news program soared and pulsed. The screens glowed with statistical displays and videos about fighting terrorism. An unnamed official who narrated the features of the new control center said the displays used artificial intelligence to track, in real time, news reports and online statements

Maybe the oil is still relevant to Trump's behavior for visiting Saudi Arabia.

U.S. plan to sell oil reserves undermines OPEC supply management efforts

By Henning Gloystein
SINGAPORE (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump's proposal to sell half of the United States' strategic oil reserve surprised energy markets on Tuesday since it counters OPEC's efforts to control supply in order to boost prices.
The White House requested in its budget released late on Monday gradually selling off the nation's Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) starting in October 2018 to raise $16.5 billion. The U.S. SPR holds 688 million barrels, making it the world's largest reserve, and a release of half over 10 years averages about 95,000 barrels per day (bpd), or 1 percent of current U.S. output.
The plan came out just a day after Trump left Saudi Arabia, the de-facto leader of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), as part of his first overseas trip.
The U.S. has more leeway to release the SPR crude as its own production has surged 49 percent over the past five years. But the move undermines OPEC's efforts to tighten global oil markets by cutting their output this year and likely into 2018.

"It will complicate the OPEC efforts to stabilize the market," said Anas Alhajji, an independent oil analyst and economist in the Reuters Global Markets Forum following the announcement.
The announcement pulled down front-month crude futures prices (LCOc1) (CLc1). [O/R]
However, the budget is not fixed since Congress has the final say and has rejected many White House proposals in the past.
COMPETING WITH SAUDI, RUSSIA

Following the oil shocks of the 1970s after the Arab oil embargo, members of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) started building SPR sites to hold the equivalent to 90 days' worth of a country's daily demand.
The U.S. released supplies from the SPR amid supply concerns at the start of the Gulf War in 1991 and after Hurricane Katrina disrupted Gulf of Mexico output in 2005, and again 2011 amid concerns about lost Libyan supply.
In December, Congress approved the sale of $2 billion of crude from the SPR to pay for maintenance and repairs. The U.S. Department of Energy sold 6.4 million barrels in January and another 10 million in February.
The White House proposal would also open areas of Alaska's arctic region to exploration. That could raise production above 10 million bpd, up from 9.3 million bpd currently, putting the U.S. in competition with Saudi Arabia and Russia for the world's biggest oil producer.
Analysts say that soaring U.S. shale output is the reason for the greater security in its supply.
"The U.S. has likely become more sanguine when it comes to having a very large SPR holding, given lofty medium term forecasts for the Permian basin," said Virendra Chauhan, oil analyst at consultancy Energy Aspects, referring to a large U.S. shale oil field.

This is also related to the interest in the Arctic oil reserves.

Trump Budget Aims to Halve Oil Stockpile and Open Arctic Refuge to Drilling

U.S. President Donald Trump’s White House wants to sell half of the nation’s emergency oil stockpile and open the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge to drilling as part of plans to balance the budget over the next 10 years, documents by the administration showed.

The White House budget, which will be delivered to Congress on Tuesday, is meant as a proposal and may not take effect in its current form. But it reveals the administration’s policy hopes, which include ramping up American energy output.

The U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve, the world’s largest, holds about 688 million barrels of crude oil in heavily guarded underground caverns in Louisiana and Texas. Congress created it in 1975 after the Arab oil embargo caused fears of long-term motor fuel price spikes that would harm the U.S. economy.

The Trump budget proposes to start selling SPR oil in fiscal year 2018, which begins on Oct. 1, with sales that would generate $500 million, according to the documents. The sales from the reserve would gradually rise over the following years, peaking at nearly $3.9 billion in 2027, and totaling nearly $16.6 billion from 2018 to 2027.

The announcement surprised oil markets, and pulled down U.S. crude prices for immediate delivery to just over $50 per barrel during Asian trading hours.

Yet the bigger effect, if implemented, would be more long-term as it is planned to last a decade. The Brent forward curve shows prices rising towards $55.60 per barrel by April 2018, but then declining towards $53.75 per barrel by late 2018.

The White House budget plan, released just after Trump left Saudi Arabia, the defacto leader of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), is seen as undermining OPEC-led plans to tighten global markets by cutting production, and points towards a future of ongoing ample supplies.

Arctic Drilling

The Trump budget would also seek to raise $1.8 billion over the coming decade by leasing oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Reserve, the largest protected wilderness in the United States, believed to hold rich reserves of crude.

Increased drilling in Alaska would add to rising U.S. oil production which, largely thanks to shale, has jumped over 10% since mid-2016 to 9.3 million barrels per day.

U.S. politicians have been debating whether to open the reserve in northeastern Alaska to drilling since the 1970s, with opponents citing the risk of spills and the contribution to global climate change.

Trump has already moved to expand U.S. offshore drilling, including in parts of the Arctic, as part of his broader effort to support the oil and gas industries. He has also moved to trim the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, including by proposing a more than 30% cut to its funding.

Mick Mulvaney, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, told reporters on Monday that the overall budget proposal was part of an effort to help the U.S. economy grow at a rate of 3% a year.

“It drives our tax reform policy, our regulatory policy, trade, energy … everything is keyed toward getting us back to 3%,” he said.

The White House did not immediately respond to questions about the energy-related budget proposals.

Trump’s budget would also restart a nuclear waste fund that would bring in more than $3 billion by 2027.

The Obama administration stopped charging nuclear energy utilities the fee in 2014 after it stopped the licensing process for Nevada’s Yucca Mountain—a waste dump that cost the government billions of dollars but never opened.

The Trump administration proposed reviving Yucca in details of the budget released in March.

As a bonus to Trump's environmentally friendly plan they will also offer to expand our creation of more nuclear waste dumps.

Just a quick note on oil and gas pipelines - my Family are facing the prospects of a 3rd pipeline being installed on their rural property. The second one was installed about 5 years ago, next to an older existing one. It claimed a large portion of natural forest land, part of a fruit orchard and brought the line to less than a hundred feet from the back of the house. When they install a pipeline, there has to be a certain amount of clearing, on both sides of the line. If a 3rd one is approved, it will claim the Family Homestead that was built by my Stepfather's - Grandfather. My Stepfather turned 80 in March and is witnessing his whole Family legacy go down the drain. What started out as 110 Inherited acres, has been reduced down to less than 60, with property devaluation in the process. If the State approves the plan, there's not much he can do. He either accepts their offer or they resort to eminent domain. it's a no-win-situation, either way. Neighboring homesteads are facing the same problems.

angelburst29,

I guess you can't get any closer to home than a personal story of how the oil companies just take want they want one way or the other. I know there is much farm land in danger or being affected by these pipelines in PA. Your family is proof of how negative it can be if it happens to be your farm.

It doesn't make me very optimistic about Trump's idea of MAGA if oil deals is one of his main goals to boost economic growth by 3%. The arctic will probably end up polluted too. Kissinger coined the word "Petrodollar". They have been using the price of oil to control the world economies ever since. The pipelines through Syria are one of the main reasons "Assad must go". Everyone is fighting for strategic control.

Thanks for sharing the personal story.

What does this picture say? I would like to invite people on this forum to see it as objectively as possible without forming any definite conclusions of what this photo reflects in you to convince you in whichever conspiracy theory floats in the mind that best resonates with..
The picture taken depicts some people with them hands placed on a light bulb, but what is this source of light that is emanating from the bulb? Electricity. Where does this Electricity come from, and what is Light? Something that gets Illuminated or something that is Illuminating for what purposes? Who excites which, and which excites who to get this thing called Light moving?

It is just a standalone stupid lamp and a bunch of people gathered together around it, and some of them happened to be the leaders of some powerful countries...yeah, so what, but here is the thing..What does this Illumination represent?

We can always think of many meanings of what this Light source is all about, some run away from, some are drawn to it, but what if this Light implies PEACE? It takes a Light to see the reflection of us in the mirror, and what do we see?

Sometimes it is hard to concede stewardship of one's own ideas how to be the ruler of the world..

Stefan,

Your thoughts are interesting. I can see how you might see that kind of symbology of "light" or "light of the world?". I am not sure the people in the picture see that kind of symbology. As others saw it with a more dark overtone as Beau did by comparing it to

Here is the NYT explication: What Was That Glowing Orb Trump Touched in Saudi Arabia?

The real meaning of the sphere had little to do with the occult.

The occasion was the opening of a new Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology, based in Riyadh, and the orb was in fact a translucent globe, with the world’s waters represented in light gray and the continents in black. Its purpose appeared to be decorative.

The futuristic look of the darkened room may have helped to fire observers’ imaginations.

It was filled with computer terminals. At one end was a wall of monitors displaying feeds from news networks. Employees of the center were segregated by gender, as is common in Saudi Arabia.

The design felt to a pool reporter who was present like a hybrid of a game-show set and a television thriller’s idea of a counterterrorism operations control room.

Among the many dignitaries at the event were Mr. Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, and the Saudi crown prince, Mohammed bin Nayef.

The globe did not appear to have any magical powers, but when the king and Mr. Trump touched it, background music of the kind that might accompany a reality show’s elimination sequence or introduce a cable news program soared and pulsed. The screens glowed with statistical displays and videos about fighting terrorism. An unnamed official who narrated the features of the new control center said the displays used artificial intelligence to track, in real time, news reports and online statements.

“This groundbreaking new center represents a clear declaration that Muslim-majority countries must take the lead in combating radicalization, and I want to express our gratitude to King Salman for this strong demonstration of leadership,” Mr. Trump said in his prepared remarks.

I don't know if they are correct or not. It's still a strange thing I think especially since Saudi Arabia is a training ground for Wahhabism. :/

Just wanted to share one of those rare social media posts that I'm really unsure how to react to upon reading:

Heavenly Father, on this 127th day of Donald Trumps Presidency, we thank You for invading Washington D.C. with more light, than darkness has bargained for.

Thank You for this light, causing a rapid revealing, and a supernatural uncovering of the sources of the leaks,
hidden agendas, alliances, and strategies that are trying to undermine our President, and our Nation.

Thank You for those who are masters of the innuendo, being taken in their own snares!

Thank You, for a leaker among the leakers, revealing these lawless unnamed sources, who have conspired to systematically leak unsubstantiated information, and sow seeds of doubt, about the integrity of our President, and this administration, being uncovered.

Psalm 127 tells us, Unless You build the house Lord, They labor in vain who build it; Unless You guard the city O Lord,
The watchman stays awake in vain.

We decree, the unsourced leaks, the conniving media, and the treasonous conspiracy of the house of darkness, is moment by moment crumbling, and being dismantled, and all their labor is in vain, because, You are not keeping their house!

Thank You that as President Trump returns from Europe, there is a massive shift in momentum, mature him in discipline, and give he, and his team, supernatural strategies to turn the tables of
the conspiracy of darkness of the "deep state" aligned against them.

I have a question? Why was former president Obama, meeting with the German Chancellor, right before she went to a meeting with President Trump, interesting?

Father of Lights, nothing is hidden from Your sight!
You are the one who placed him in office, and You are the one who will keep him from every globalist strategy!

Thank You for bringing it all to light, so that everything done in darkness in D.C. and the global community, is being shown for exactly what it is.

We are asking the Court of Heaven, to appoint a Special Investigator, to investigate, the investigations, and bring it all into the light, and administer Your justice.

Remember, Honor Unlocks Glory, and Dishonor Diminishes Glory!

Remember also, we wrestle not with flesh and blood, we have seen an unprecedented tsunami of dishonor released in our nation, against our law enforcement officers, our president, and his administration, demonic darkness that wants our nation burning in the flames of chaos is the source.

As we enter the Memorial Day Weekend, this weekend is a time to Honor those who paid the ultimate price, so the glory of our nation could shine as a beacon in the darkness.

Let’s honor their supreme sacrifice, and let the eternal light of glory of that sacrifice, be unlocked and deal with the darkness they gave their lives to eradicate from the face of the earth!

In the Name, and through the power, of the blood of the Son.

Donald Trump has been on an official diplomatic tour for a week. During his trip he visited Saudi Arabia, Israel, Palestine, Italy, the Vatican and Belgium. Trump met with foreign leaders such as King Salman, Mahmoud Abbas, Pope Francis and the leaders of NATO.

Although many commentators have been analyzing Trump’s every move very carefully, Sputnik decided to present you with a summary of some of the most noteworthy highlights of Trump’s visit and his meeting with different leaders.

U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday intensified his accusations that NATO allies were not spending enough on defense and warned of more attacks like this week’s Manchester bombing unless the alliance did more to stop militants.

Trump directly scolds NATO allies, says they owe ‘massive’ sums
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-europe-idUSKBN18K34D

In unexpectedly abrupt remarks as NATO leaders stood alongside him, Trump said certain member countries owed “massive amounts of money” to the United States and NATO — even though allied contributions are voluntary, with multiple budgets.

His scripted comments contrasted with NATO’s choreographed efforts to play up the West’s unity by inviting Trump to unveil a memorial to the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States at the new NATO headquarters building in Brussels.

Terrorism must be stopped in its tracks, or the horror you saw in Manchester and so many other places will continue forever,” Trump said, referring to Monday’s suicide bombing in the English city that killed 22 people, including children.

“These grave security concerns are the same reason that I have been very, very direct … in saying that NATO members must finally contribute their fair share,” Trump said.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg defended Trump, saying that although he was “blunt” he had “a very plain and clear message on the expectations” of allies.

But one senior diplomat said Trump, who left the leaders’ dinner before it ended to fly to Italy for Friday’s Group of Seven summit, said the remarks did not go down well at all.

This was not the right place or time,” the diplomat said of the very public harangue. “We are left with nothing else but trying to put a brave face on it.”

In another unexpected twist, Trump called on NATO, an organization founded on collective defense against the Soviet threat, to include limiting immigration in its tasks.

And Trump did say that the United States “will never forsake the friends who stood by our side” but NATO leaders had hoped he would more explicitly support the mutual defense rules of a military alliance’s he called “obsolete” during his campaign.

Instead, he returned to a grievance about Europe’s drop in defense spending since the end of the Cold War and failed to publicly commit to NATO’s founding Article V rule which stipulates that an attack on one ally is an attack against all.

“Twenty-three of the 28 member nations are still not paying what they should be paying for their defense,” Trump said, standing by a piece of the wreckage of the Twin Towers. “This is not fair to the people and taxpayers of the United States, and many of these nations owe massive amounts of money from past years,” Trump said as the other leaders watched.

Nicholas Burns, a former long-time diplomat and ambassador to NATO from 2001-2005, now a professor at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, said every U.S. president since Harry Truman had pledged support for Article V and that the United States would defend Europe.

White House spokesman Sean Spicer said Trump was “100 percent” committed to collective defense. “We are not playing cutesie with this. He is fully committed,” Spicer said.

“BARE MINIMUM” - Praise was always going to be in short supply after Trump’s sharp election campaign criticism of the alliance, which he blamed for not doing more to combat terrorism.

Last year, Trump threatened to abandon U.S. allies in Europe if they did not spend enough on defense, comments that were particularly unnerving for the ex-Soviet Baltic states on Russia’s border which fear Moscow might try a repeat of its 2014 annexation of Ukraine’s Crimea.

Although he has since softened his tone in phone calls and meetings with Western leaders, Trump’s sharp words on Thursday recalled his awkward meeting with Angela Merkel in March, when he pressed the German chancellor for Germany to meet NATO’s military spending target.

NATO diplomats planned to placate Trump with a pledge on Thursday to agree to national plans by the end of this year showing how NATO allies will meet a promise to spend 2 percent of economic output every year on defense by 2024.

But Trump increased the pressure, calling that agreement made at a summit in Wales in 2014 “the bare minimum”. “Even 2 percent of GDP is insufficient … 2 percent is the bare minimum for confronting today’s very real and very vicious threats,” Trump said.

He also made his presence felt at his first NATO summit, literally, pushing his way past Montenegro’s prime minister, Dusko Markovic, whose country joins the organization next month, in footage that went viral.

Spicer said he had not seen the video but assumed the U.S. president was moving to his designated spot.

NATO nonetheless strived to impress Trump with allied jets flying overhead and a walk through the new glass headquarters, which replaces a 1960s prefab structure.

Trump, a real estate magnate, called the building “beautiful” and joked that he did not dare ask how much it cost.

Leaders from the world’s major industrialized nations began talks on Friday at a G7 summit in Sicily which is expected to expose deep divisions with U.S. President Donald Trump over trade and climate change.

Trump and other leaders clash on trade, climate at G7
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-g7-summit-idUSKBN18L2ZU

The two-day summit, at a cliff-top hotel overlooking the Mediterranean, began a day after Trump blasted NATO allies for spending too little on defense and described Germany’s trade surplus as “very bad” in a meeting with EU officials in Brussels.

After receiving warm receptions in Saudi Arabia and Israel, Trump’s confrontational stance with long-standing partners in Europe cast a cloud over the meeting in Taormina, where leaders are due to discuss terrorism, Syria, North Korea and the global economy.

“No doubt, this will be the most challenging G7 summit in years,” Donald Tusk, a former Polish prime minister who chairs summits of European Union leaders, said before the meeting.

White House economic adviser Gary Cohn predicted “robust” discussions on trade and climate.

Trump was elected in November after a campaign in which he rejected many of the tenets that the Group of Seven has stood for, including free trade, multilateralism and the liberal democratic values.

European leaders, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel and new French President Emmanuel Macron, had hoped to use the summit to convince Trump to soften some of his stances.

But diplomats conceded as the talks began that the United States was unlikely to budge, meaning the final communique could be watered down significantly compared to the one the G7 unveiled at its last summit in Japan.

TRADE AND CLIMATE - The summit kicked off with a ceremony at an ancient Greek theater overlooking the sea, where war ships patrolled the sparkling blue waters. Nine fighter jets soared into the sky above Taormina, leaving a trail of smoke in the red-white-green colors of the Italian flag.

The leaders then adjourned to the San Domenico Palace, a one-time Dominican monastery that is now a luxury 5-star hotel. During World War Two, it housed Nazi air force chiefs.

From L-R, European Council President Donald Tusk, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, U.S. President Donald Trump, Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, French President Emmanuel Macron, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Britain’s Prime Minister Theresa May and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker pose for a family photo during the G7 Summit in Taormina, Sicily, Italy, May 26, 2017.

Italy chose to stage the summit in Sicily to draw attention to Africa, which is 140 miles (225 km) from the island at its closest point across the Mediterranean.

But trade and climate, to be discussed on Friday afternoon, are the most contentious issues.

Trump, who dismissed human-made global warming as a “hoax” during his election campaign, is threatening to pull the United States out of a 2015 climate deal clinched in Paris in 2015. Fellow G7 leaders are trying to convince him to stay in. Cohn and other administration officials have said Trump will wait until after the summit to decide.

“This is the first real opportunity that the international community has to force the American administration to begin to show its hand, particularly on environment policy,” said Tristen Naylor, a lecturer on development at the University of Oxford and deputy director of the G20 Research Group.

On Thursday in Brussels, with NATO leaders standing alongside him, Trump accused members of the military alliance of owing “massive amounts of money” to the United States and NATO – even though allied contributions are voluntary.

The remarks went down badly with European leaders, who had hoped Trump would use the opportunity to confirm his commitment to Article 5, the core NATO principle that an attack on one member is viewed as an attack on all.

“When an American president cannot commit clearly to Article 5 at a time when everyone is expecting him to do this then there is the risk that Moscow interprets this as meaning it is no longer valid,” said Jan Techau of the American Academy in Berlin.

“VERY BAD” - In a private meeting with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, Trump also denounced the German trade surplus as “very bad” and complained about the large number of German cars being sold in the United States, officials said.

Juncker tried to play down the comments ahead of the summit. But they underscored ongoing policy divisions between Trump and his partners four months after he took office.

Trump is attending his first major international summit but is not the only G7 newcomer. Macron, Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni and British Prime Minister Theresa May will also be attending the elite club for the first time.

May is expected to leave a day early, following Monday’s suicide bombing at a concert in northern England that killed 22 people carried out by a suspected Islamist militant of Libyan descent who grew up in Britain.

G7 leaders were expected to issue a separate statement on terrorism on Friday, before issuing their formal communique on Saturday. Italian officials have suggested the final communique will be shorter than 10 pages. At the last G7 summit in Japan it totaled 32 pages.

One country that will not be present is Russia. It was expelled from the group in 2014 following its annexation of Crimea from Ukraine.

Trump called for improved ties with Moscow during his election campaign.

But accusations from U.S. intelligence agencies that Russia intervened in the U.S. election to help Trump, and investigations into his campaign’s contacts with Russian officials, have hung over his four-month-old presidency and prevented him from getting too close to Moscow.

Blake Farenthold (R-TX) told CNN’s John Berman that the Russian hacking of the election was actually an “inside job.”

GOP representative says the DNC hack was an inside job. The CNN reaction is priceless!

“My fear is our constant focusing on the Russians is deflecting away for some other things that we need to be investigating in,” Farenthold said. “There’s still some question as to whether the intrusion of the DNC server was an inside job or whether or it was the Russians.”

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” Berman repeated, seemingly shocked. “The ‘inside job?’ What are you referring to here because I hope it’s not this information that Fox News just refused to be reporting.”

Farenthold then went on to create a conspiracy theory claiming that the DNC contracted their own cybersecurity firm to dive through their data breach and it could have been faked.

“Congressman, do you think it’s responsible to bring up things, in your words, that ‘are swirling on the internet’ and give it justification as if there’s a there-there when we know nothing on that yet?” Berman asked.
