I think there were 3 who died from medical conditions. So the real tally is: 1 murdered unarmed female, say her name, and one police officer who was hit in the head with a fire extinguisher by a guy who may/or may not have been an anarchist. This is a non issue that will be blown up as the reason they need to enact their tyrannical socialistic agendas to save us from the 'far-right' boggy men.

They screwed up.
The hope was that a raging mob of feral hillbillies would smash into the capitol building, tear the police limb from limb, and set about breaking and burning everything in reach. They did everything they could to incite this, antagonizing the crowd and then letting it in ... but the crowd refused to cooperate.
Now instead, they've handed the resistance a martyr (Ashli Babbitt, say her name) ... but they're running with the prepackaged narrative regardless. In the process they've labeled half the country as terrorists or terrorist supporters. And that half of the country, far from being demoralized and ashamed and ready to repent (as was likely the intention), are only angrier than ever.
This was a big mistake on their part.

This is war. The vestiges of the legitimate government are in hiding and the president is signing this act, signing not officially declaring, and you are checking usa.gov or even twitter!
Twitter will be deleting any such information within seconds. Usa.gov may not even be updated in this situation.
Trump or any of his lieutenants will be announcing it on the Emergency broadcasting system (however that works).

Let's say Trump will give it a go. If he fails, the backlash of the Deep State will end America this week. Not in 1 or 3 years. This week. Sometimes it's best to let the enemy strike first. In this way all people know who started the war. Trump won the election and most Americans know it. Let's build on that.

The enemy has already struck. I'm not saying he should enact martial law but based on the moves of the past FEW DAYS, see Laura's post re knives, this is deadly serious. Whatever we think of DJT or what he will or won't or might or might not do, I still hope he makes a move, because the alternative is pretty clear.
Of course it isn’t. I’ll eat my hat if it is. For crying out loud, we have some self proclaimed insider making outrageous claims that Pelosi has been arrested and Trump opened military tribunals...and that’s it, no corroborating evidence, no sources other than this loon. If I came on here and told you that Trump just had Biden and Kamal arrested, would you put any stock into what I was saying? Of course not. Everything coming out now on the internets is pure disinfo designed to create as much chaos as possible and put people into a state of desperation once things inevitably don’t pan out.
The one good thing about all this is that all of these disinfo agents will be shown for who they truly are and the alternative community will be all the better for it.
The only good move he could make, as far as I can tell at the moment, is declassifying everything that is available to declassify. He probably doesn’t have the power to do that, though.
I’m sure that ultimately all of this will turn out for the best. If not this month, year or decade, maybe this century. There will be great upheaval in the meantime, but we’ll get through it and there will be a new and better world out there. I’m kind of sad and that so many people will have to learn this lesson of misplaced hope the hard way.

Well if the posted videos are indicative of Trump's intentions, I'd say we'll have him for 4 more years.

Trump isn't gone. If the fighting starts. He will have a role to play. I don't know if that is going to happen this year, the next or after. But the battle lines are being drawn. For most Americans Trump will remain the legitimate president. While Biden is the illegitimate president and a tyrant that must be ousted. Keep an eye on Trump. Perhaps he still becomes president. Just not in the way many think he will.

Yeah? And who will believe him? He's been consistently delegitimized, if that's a word. As far as I'm concerned, and you can say pamphlets printed against the crown in the 18th century would've gotten the job done, there needs to be violent action. The gauntlet has been thrown. Nothing is going to be pretty at this point, but inaction, that gets a participation, or not, award. I vote for our champion, because he's at the highest level. Nazi fascism 2.0 seems to be coming down the chutes. Hope not, but... Otherwise, see you in the camps. This is real and it will only get uglier. Declassify docs? Gimme a break. That's nothing.
