2020 US Election - Let The Games Begin!

I see a reference to Dark Journalist in some recent post, while I listen and watch, he does tend to drag it a bit, where some would compress into an least an hour, that being said, he did make a point in his recent video that struck me.

It's concerning the images from the congressional chamber. He presented an image of a lone person in the gallery of the congressional chamber, he said he was a Getty photographer, this is not my impression

I suspect they were the images captured from security cameras within the chambers, and are presented for media purposes. I have noted some of those images, they are clean and crisp, show that dude dressed up in viking gear, now identified as a some sort of NPC player, a long history of acting out a part. Some person sitting int the so called hot seat. And also some person walking off with a podium. Which is now being called in the MSM as Nancy Peolsis's podium.

The images are now stamped Getty images, with the name beside of it of some person, male or female, that to my mind could not possibly be true it was wide angled and and a cell phone could not capture the images with such clarity.

So my question is, are these images that are offered as archival images (that is what Getty is all about). Are they for posterity, to rewrite history, and to show the Trump administration in the blackest possible light for
a future generations as a dictator and demon of democracy. To mirror the images of the 1984 movie and the 2 minutes hate for Emanuel Goldstein.

I agree Ursus Minor that on the surface everything looks abysmal and appalling and I think we all appreciate just how stressful these times are for everyone, but that doesn't mean we can't use this as an opportunity to continue to try and practice discernment here. In fact I think it becomes more imperative than ever. By design (the programming is complete) the information field is scrambled; by design its chaotic and filled with disinformation, contradiction, false leads, emotionally led and falsely charged ideas dropped like mini time bombs day-in-hour-out to further disturb the pool. But does that mean we here need to become victime to that - so lost in this poisoned swell that we can't tell the wood from the trees? This thread is a very necessary place of congregation and support as community members - especially those in the States - go through the daily wringer. But its also keeps dishing up more noise to signal ratio than almost any other I've seen here before.

I think Revolucionar's comment to which you responded is evidently correct and a valuable prompt. I don't see how it warrants a reply suggesting that he should 'leave the forum' or the projection that he has a 'desire to do everyone down'. I know people are frightened, angry, confused, feel betrayed, conned, whatever - but we really do need to exercise self-discipline at this time and use what is happening to become more self aware and support each other through this. So let's practise observing how our programs are being manipulated and distorted and how the STS trap of wishful thinking, despair and then return to wishful thinking at the next false lead of hope, offers us such an opportunity to learn how we are being managed by the herd keepers.

The events thus far, as distilled so expertly by Joe and Niall in their NewsReal show do seem to boil down to (1) despite all the great aspects that Trump brought to our notice over the past 4 years, at the last he failed because even he underestimated the scale, depth and utter depravity of the spiders web that the Deep State has spun for well on 75 years now (2) that the Q phenomenon was always a psyop based on manipulating wishful thinking and gatekeeper methodologies - and that is just the tip of the iceberg when you throw in the daily mania peddled on social media (with so much mere attention seeking) - and we here should not be falling for this emotionally manipulative noise intended to make us blind to what is really going on.

So let's all take a half step back, let go of the attachment, to the frenzy and maybe spend just a little more time observing based more on a number of days activity rather than the knee jerk reaction to every knew 'lead' we think we've managed to uncover. Let's think more like discerning observers of the Mosaic - what is the big picture and how do the details fit the clear pattern (or not)?

Final thought on what's been happening. Does the scale of the OTT reaction of the system to what happened on Capital Hill actually suggest they were genuinely shaken (and deeply affronted) at how close real humans got to potentially wringing their necks live on TV? They live in such a fantasy land of self importance that they never have to face the implicit nightmare they all secretly share - aka French Revolution style break down of barriers between them (the untouchables) and us (the useless eaters). I propose that an element of their mania and mounting vindictiveness is not just aimed at Trump - but through him to those 75 million people out there they fear could come back in even greater numbers if they don't stamp down now on them by crushing Trump and making an example to each and everyone what will happen to them individually if they ever again dare to cross that sacred line. We are many they are few; that's what they fear more than anything - and that's what they must stop (aka social distancing and masks - same fear of us program running in both camps). It comes across as strength - but it's actually a sign of their implicit utter vulnerability.

I think they are really shaken and scared that their grip on power over all is that ephemeral.

He might have support from the rank and file, but even that is nowhere near 100% Having control over the military as a whole is a ridiculous proposition. It’s called the military-industrial complex for a reason and no one has ultimate power over this behemoth, least of all Trump.

I tend to avoid personal arguments, but your nickname actually reminded me of David Lynch and the Woodsmen characters - grobian enablers of the evil spirit Bob who was in roaming as 'Cooper'/'bad Cooper' impersonator in the last season of the series. I am convinced you aren't anything like that.:-)

The yokel who slapped his feet and blood over Pelosi's desk, however was very close...I don't know how acquainted you are in dealing with an enraged mob being trapped in a building, but I can assure you from own experience that is not pretty. Those were real moments of terror for politicians, staffers and policemen inside. Mob attacks have been part of terror playbooks in history from lynching to political pressure and fomenting insurrections... and comparing the Capitol attach with Kristallnacht wasn't far fetched - if that upsets you.

Now, the enemy is not the people - be them left or right, blue collar or rich, liberals or conservatives - it's always the toxic ideology that poisons people's minds. When the mistrust and divide are seeded and irresponsibly exploited, the mob instincts kick in inevitably and become the most destructive force - which can lead to death, as it happened on January 6th. The most ridiculous part: it's easier than ever to do it today, the 'influencer' and clicks monetization culture has created these monsters: Q-anon, ex-secret intelligence youtube analysts spewing disinformation and conspiracies for pennies, closeted "insiders" and anti-establishment warriors, they all bid for fame. It's not the message, it's the noise and sulfur they generate that counts.

And then when a man who rightfully rised to power on a wave of popular support wants to hijack this power for another term, what does he do? He doesn't need to coerce generals, change constitution, liquidate his political opponents, no. He's just using his popular capital to appeal to lowest common denominator and instincts pretending that he's doing the good fight, God's work no less. The message is sent directly via social media, carried by traditional media and gets repeated ad-hypnosis and amplified freely by 'influencers' - look, he's really telling it as it is, he's really sticking it to "them" - and by the time you hit refresh every yokel with a phone and internet brings another 10 yokels and storms the Capitol screaming 'stop the steal'.

Who's the fascist now? Using the mob as tool for political leverage and terror is the lowest you can go.

Now, I'm not advocating restraining anyone's freedom and right to expression, but who's responsibility is to filter and discern information? The Ministry of Truth? No. Every individual? I betcha. The enablers (i'e. social media co's)? Who else?

Next: where does the buck stop? who's responsibility is for the terror, insecurity and damage done to other people and to the democratic institutions in a civilized society? Those who did it? It is their individual responsibility, of course. But we assume the best in people, they are driven by sincere beliefs and hopes, you and me although of different opinions and colors, have the same best intentions after all. Then who's responsible when it comes to commit crime for a belief? The only viable answer remains the instigator of this divide and actions.

On Arnold's video, regardless of his celebrity status, I am sure the man spoke from his heart, as an immigrant in this country, and he used to be friends with Trump and know him intimately as many others who left him shaking their head... I have voted for Trump myself in 2016 and recently, but what he did post-election, and especially the DC rally and what followed disqualifies him in any respect - he needs to disappear from the political scene and into oblivion.

I respect the idea of using our intellectual center and being logical but (that evil word) what if there may be more at stake than just being logical (maybe we will get "some help"). What if the rules we have been living under change?

I agree it certainly looks like we may be up sh#t's creek ("DOOM") as some say.

To me, it is like Jedi mind games. The Pure faith part is getting easier since it is just simply (IMO) having faith that whatever happens is for the best...or what is meant to be - to accept (in advance) whatever is to happen; even defeat/disaster/pain. A kind of surrender. Clearly things have not gone as I would have it happen in this life (from an STS perspective) - so why not just give up? It's weird - giving up the idea of having any power at all to do anything.

I have had a lot of practice losing...suffering...big deep emotions...seeing things not turn out and rooting for the losing team. And I tend to go for the underdog. But, Why let that ruin my life? My defense in life to protect myself from emotional pain has always been to not care...to detach. To be able to embrace all the dysfunction and keep a bright spirit. (strategic enclosure) As a youth I denied my emotions. But the last few years have been all about embracing those deep emotions I don't like to feel.

Seeing humor in all things is also a Jedi mind trick I engage in. It IS an absurd world, after all. I could see that when I was 13. But, Buffalo Guy happened for the best? I have some serious karmic spiritual work to do!

The mental exercises of denial is interesting to hear it put that way. For me this plays out as almost pretending and thinking I don't want things to go my way. Again: Detachment/I don't care. Expecting the worst. Almost not wanting to win. It's weird. Like I will feel bad if I win. A little bit that I don't deserve it, and that it isn't fair if I do win.

I know! This sounds sick and defeatist and negative! And it is!

I need to get back to projecting my dystopian nightmare before I start thinking positive thoughts!

(tongue somewhat in cheek but really; so much false hope seems to be out there; Tired of getting jacked around by loose cannons. But, the loose cannons and their nonsense have helped me to detach.)

mbww your whole post comes across as laden with paramoralisms. I just can't fathom whether they are conscious and deliberate or unconscious and delusional.

The above paragraph is of particular note in that it clearly suggests you have little to no understanding of pathology or of the true and complex nature of the human condition. Laura herself had to admit way back that she was a victim of such a self-delusional belief system which was finally removed only when she came up against the harsh and hidden reality of psychopathy. If you are in any way serious about your participation in what is first and last a research forum (not just another feral social media outlet), you need to read the following and then post about what you have learned.
