Bladder Cancer

I got some great news yesterday. I won't be needing surgery!!! Yay!! I am getting my nephrostomy tube removed next friday. I had a lasix renal scan that showed everything is draining well. I guess the pain I was having was from something else, and it is gone now. Initially my creatinine was a little high, but my doctor now seems to believe that my normal level is going to be a little higher and unless it gets over 1.4 we aren't going to worry about it.

So I am going to be back to normal!! Woo Hoo!!

Whoohoo!!! This is terrific news! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Today I had my 6 month check up. It has been 3 years and 2 months since my bladder cancer surgery. I had blood work, an ultrasound, and a chest xray. Everything came back great! Since I am now over three years cancer free, I don't have to go back for a year! Woooooooo hooooooooooo!!!

I am very happy. :)
