The Doctor said that they caught it early so no damage was done to my kidney and that is good news since I only have the one that works.

Two and a half hours on the operation table still seems a long time to me, but I am glad there was no damage done.

I got some great news yesterday. I won't be needing surgery!!! Yay!! I am getting my nephrostomy tube removed next friday. I had a lasix renal scan that showed everything is draining well. I guess the pain I was having was from something else, and it is gone now. Initially my creatinine was a little high, but my doctor now seems to believe that my normal level is going to be a little higher and unless it gets over 1.4 we aren't going to worry about it.

So I am going to be back to normal!! Woo Hoo!!
