Can we talk about Andrew Tate

Is that strange? The two links suggested by Joe in two posts above appear when the page loads and disappear straight away, leaving the two posts empty. I see some people have welcomed them. What's going on?
Just a bug with Twitter, I reckon. If you go back to Home and return to the thread, they should appear. I've had that happen a couple of times.

Haven't posted in a while. But I stumbled upon this video that, although is just Andrew Tate "adjacent", I think shows some good insight on the environment that men are currently dealing with. I think it paints a good picture of why Andrew Tate seems so attractive to men who are facing "mens issues" (loneliness, lack of connection, unable to express feelings).

Apple removes app created by Andrew Tate

Legal firm had said Real World Portal encouraged misogyny and there was evidence to suggest it is an illegal pyramid scheme

Apple has withdrawn an app created by Andrew Tate after accusations that it encouraged misogyny and could be an illegal pyramid scheme.

Tate created the app, Real World Portal, after the closure of his “Hustler’s University”, which was an online academy for his fans, promising to assist them in making thousands of pounds while helping Tate’s videos on social media, which have been described as misogynistic, to go viral.

McCue Jury & Partners, the firm representing four British women who have accused Tate of sexual and physical assault, claimed that the app deliberately targets young men and encourages misogyny, including members of the app sharing techniques on how to control and exploit women. The firm has also claimed that there is evidence to suggest that the app is an illegal pyramid scheme, with members being charged $49.99 a month to join.

Last week, the Real World Portal app was removed from Google’s Play store after claims that it was an illegal pyramid scheme and encouraged misogyny.

On Friday night Apple also said it had removed it from its app store. It followed a letter from the legal firm asking Apple to consider whether the app was in line with its policies and whether the company was exposing itself to any corporate liability in hosting it on its platform.

Part of the letter, dated 15 September, said: “We are writing because our clients are extremely concerned that you are hosting Tate’s Real World Portal (RWP) mobile application on your Apple Store … In continuing to host RWP, not only is Apple potentially indirectly financing Tate’s alleged criminal activities but is aiding the spread of his misogynistic teachings.”

The firm had claimed that Apple was directly profiting from hosting the app, with the company taking 30% in royalties from apps and in-app purchases.
Four women in their late 20s and early 30s are pursuing civil proceedings against Tate over alleged offences between 2013 and 2016 while he was still living in the UK.

Before the news that Apple had withdrawn the app, Matt Jury, the lawyer representing the women, said: “Andrew and [his brother] Tristan Tate manipulate their significant online following to promote subscriptions to Real World Portal. From there, the benefits to users are entirely reliant upon new subscribers joining the platform.

“There is also significant evidence that this scheme is directly targeting boys and teenagers and, in my view, is nothing more than an exploitative app which has no place on Apple’s platform.”

Tate is awaiting trial in Romania on charges of human trafficking. He and Tristan were charged in June, along with two Romanian female suspects, with human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women. The suspects have denied the allegations.

A spokesperson for Andrew Tate said: “We unequivocally deny the allegations that ‘The Real World’ app operates as a pyramid scheme or perpetuates harmful techniques aimed at exploiting any individuals, particularly women. The user community, which includes a significant number of women within the 200,000-strong user base, can attest to the positive impact and educational value the app provides.

“Accusations suggesting otherwise are unfounded, lacking credible evidence, and seem to be part of a targeted campaign against Andrew Tate, a known supporter and promoter of the platform. ‘The Real World’ maintains a commitment to complete transparency, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards. We invite sceptics to examine the app independently and affirm that it operates in accordance with legal and moral requirements.

“The platform is designed as an educational tool that fosters healthy habit formation, financial literacy, and self-discipline, with thousands of lives positively impacted. The decision by Google Play is being appealed.”

Jordan Peterson spoke with his daughter recently and he had some things to say about Tate. They start their discussion on Tate at around 1 hour 46 mins with Mikhaila's description of how she met Tate in Romania.

Some key points:
  • He said that if the culture kept emasculating men, men that said "to hell with that I'd rather be a monster" would become popular and Tate is emblematic of that
  • Some of the things Tate says may be of value because he's intelligent but what disturbs JP is the online porn thing. He doesn't think it's OK for people to monetize their sexual attractiveness online, it leads to a dark place for them and society
  • It's unacceptable to enter into relationships with women, tilt them to set up online following and then take a percentage of profits, it's certainly not the highest form of behavior
  • Pimps are among some of the most contemptable people- parasitic, pathetic predators
  • Tate serves his immediate self in an impulsive gratifying manner
Interestingly, Mikhaila said that when she met him she said he reminded her of a human shark.

Interestingly, Mikhaila said that when she met him she said he reminded her of a human shark.
What struck me is that she wasn't making the comparison in a negative light. The way she described it, seems like she saw that as a quality or attractive feature of his. Seems like JBP has a much better grasp of Tate's pathological nature than his daughter, who I got the sense over time finds successful, charismatic alpha males to be very attractive to her. She just doesn't have a good understanding of pathology and how it manifests in behavior.

Thanks for the podcast/interview link, in whole it gives a nice overview of personal history and what in general JP is about, especially for people who more or less know about him through other sources.

Apart from a seemingly dichotomy with his stances about "voluntary self-sacrifice" vs. "selling yourself out as high as you can", it suprised me to hear that he thinks psychopaths are unintelligent and unsuccessful people, i.e. like he's completely ignorant and blind about the real psychos who run the show/system in our reality nowadays here on Earth. Which then makes his recent (re-)connection to Israel and also even Church, as he said he spent several weeks in the monastery near Vienna if got him right, rather more understandable. Unfortunatelly, there's a program for everybody and without a right network, especially when health has been compromised, there's little to no chance of coming completely on the bright/light or truth side of the things.

What struck me is that she wasn't making the comparison in a negative light. The way she described it, seems like she saw that as a quality or attractive feature of his. She seems rather 'materialistically oriented', i.e. money/profit seems to be her main motivating power/force. Having such a mindset, it didn't come as a suprise that she would see Tate brothers with all the luxuries she was presented and surrounded by while being their guest in Romania, rather attractive male figures.

From personal experience, it appears that money as the main goal/aim has been very dominant life strategy throughout young adults part of the worldwide population at least since Western 'values' and 'globalization' have started spreading around the globe. In so much so, that as younger a generation is, it appears to be more inured in it.

Does he say that in this interview and do you have a time stamp for that segment? Curious to know the context.
Yes, it's in this X interview with his daughter, he even said it at least twice, in first and last segment of the video, that I remember. Don't know the exact time-stamps by heart, but will take another look and report back when locate them.

When he said it first time, it produced a slight disbelief, because he spiced it by concluding that psychopaths end up in prison, which was in stark opposition to what I know/see in the world/reality around me (even had an episode today at job with one of them there).

Well, JP didn't say exactly that psychopaths are unintelligent, that was my understanding/impression last night of the underlying 'message' from what he did actually say about them.

First time he mentioned psychopaths in the context of the voluntary self-sacrifice and community; i.e. living and functioning of a stable healthy communities.
"Psychopaths do that all the time. They sacrifice other people to their own whims at the drop of the hat. So what happens to psychopaths? They end up in prison, they fail to learn from the experience, they have to wander from town to town, like they end up in hell. It doesn't work, because people catch on, you know, usually. And then, then it's hell to pay. Like literally, literally. So, there isn't an alternative."
(Wider segment at 36:12-37:43, cited passage 37:02-37:28.)

Second time discussing Tate, in context of exploitation (of women in particular).
"You don't become successful by exploiting yourself. And you might think 'I can exploit myself', it's like you can't treat yourself like psychopath would treat you and get away with it even if the psychopath who's doing that is yourself. That doesn't work. That's why psychopath aren't very successful, because they exploit themselves just like other people."
(Wider segment at 1:51:29-1:53:30, cited passage 1:52:02-1:52:23.)

Then also in the continuation of that discussion when he went on about how "In actual life people are complex. No villain is simple. No villain is simple. And in great literature the great villain is a sympathetic figure. You are kind of on board with 75% of it. [...] Even when you meet someone who's dark and psychopathic to the core, you'll find... and I've had clients who were like..." (1:55:26-1:56:59).

At that point he recounted a story about one of his clients who appeared, by the sound of it, more like a highly dysfunctional paranoid disordered guy coupled with strong OCD revenge/payback tendencies (very distrustful, hyper-vigilant about it, got insulted very easily and then dedicated himself to get back to the people who he perceived insulted him). In that vignette, he mentioned "bureaucratic personality disorder" describing 'small' people in some kind of position of power that decide to make other people lives miserable just because they can ("it's their job"), who sounded more psychopathic than the actual disordered guy who, being 'molested' by this type of bureaucratic person, would decide to make the life of the bureaucrat the "living nightmare" (e.g. stalking) and actually commit himself to that. MP said "become bureaucratic nightmare", to which JP commented "Yeah, and that's the weirdly admirable part. [...] He was an honor coded guy." Then JP went back to Tate, and compared him to a villain with warped moral compass that might have some admirable virtues.

In short, JP gave me the impression that he's rather kind of clueless about the true nature of actual power structure/hierarchy in our reality, i.e. real psychopaths that constitute the PTB (like the great majority of the politicians) and their cohorts of authoritarian followers.

The X video again.

Yes good point, I may be wrong but I suspect that she sensed something predatory or dangerous about him, hence the comparison, but her reading instrument is skewed so she perceived it positively. She could've used any number of adjectives to describe him but she chose a fish renowned for it's deadliness, aggressiveness and it's ability to induce fear in humans. Creepy.

Hard to imagine anyone looking up to Tate for work out advice but just in case
LOL! That guy was funny... And while we're at it, the other day I listened to this song and thought of the Tates, though I think the person in the song is more refined that them, which is probably not hard.

So he told you that you're the dream
That he's been searching for
And he told you, he's never met
Anyone like you before
And I can hear him telling you
Your lips taste just like cherry wine
But did he tell you
That he's known as Johnny one time
Did he tell you that your heart
Would soon become another trinket
On his bracelet of broken heats
Did he tell you that the morning sun
Would find you patching up your shattered pride
And searching for the missing parts
Did he tell you that the special love you're saving
Will disappear in flames
Shaped like mine
Did he tell you
That he's known as
Johnny one time
So he told you
That he'd never lead your heart astray
And he told you that he'd love you
Forever and a day
And I can hear him telling you
That he's a shy and bashful kind
But did he tell you that he's known as
Johnny one time
Oh did he tell you that your heart
Would soon become another trinket
On his bracelet of broken heats
Did he tell you that the morning sun
Would find you patching up your shattered pride
And searching for the missing parts
Did he tell you that the special love you're saving
Will disappear in flames
Shaped like mine
Did he tell you
That he's known as
Johnny one time

Once you make your money it’s a lot easier to control your imagine AFTER…Eventually the new people that come across you do t dig 3+ levels deep and only see recent or what’s happened over a few years…

If I hear of somone doing something in teenage years or young adult hood and it’s something I couldn’t see myself doing I tend to not get too close after that knowledge.
