Such a great initiative. I am happy that you decided to record the meetings and looking forward to listening to it. The time is not the best for me as it's family gathering time, but maybe I'll manage to be there sometimes, who knows ?
I follow along rereading the Wave ten years after opening that same book which led me here, and I have to say it's quite a profound experience.
Be the miracle.

for the sake of accuracy man was in fact 79 and riddled with all sorts of health problems.
Thinking about what Dr. Shiva said and vitamin D being essential for immune defense I could hypothesize that one of the reasons Malta is so mildly hit is because of year round exposure to sunshine.

Not sure about that, as Brazil seems to be on the road to be strongly hit and we have plenty of sunshine.

Hi Iron, have a look at the separate topic and where logos explain a bit about it.

Thanks Gawan!

I started rereading the Wave chapter one after several years of reading it initially. It is mind blowing the connections now being made in my mind after acquiring more information and knowledge.

This Reading Group is so beneficial, it highlights for me, how much information I have forgotten or didn't digest at the time.

4 chapters for the for the brave

Hi logos5x5. Not sure if it was you who muted my microphone during the meeting last night. I'm not sure how to fix the problem but if you could tell me what you thought the problem was from you end i.e. microphone or whatever maybe I could have a rummage about on my computer. Haven't a clue where microphone is even. Thank you for a great meeting.

There were a few times when someone was talking, you came up on screen because your mic was giving off some kind of noisy feedback. The discussion protocol is to keep your mic muted and then unmute when you want to say something. You can try to adjust or change your mic settings as sound issues can be pretty common problems. If you're not using an external mic, then it is probably embedded within your computer.

Hello everyone!

Here you can watch or download the video from the first workshop.

And here the audio.

You can also save this link of the folder that will contain all the audios and videos of the workshops.

And good news, the date and time of the first workshop for the members in Asia-Oceania-Africa will be on April 18 at 10:00 AM UTC. Thanks to @Aya, @Arwenn and @beetlemaniac for organizing the dates!

The link for that group will also be shared here before the meeting.

The workshop for the members in America and Europe remains the same: April 18 at 6:00 PM UTC.

And if the two dates suit you, feel free to join both ;-D

PS logos5x5 if there is anything I can do to help with getting matters prepared for the next session please just ask.

Thanks Michael! Just having a brief list of the main concepts and ideas will help a lot to keep the discussion running smoothly ;-D

Your contributions were great!

As Renaissance pointed out, you had a feedback issue. I don't know your set up but you could use headphones because if you use computer speakers the sound may come in through mic and create feedback.

Here's an useful troubleshooting guide.

And here's a brief tutorial to know what to look for in the audio settings (if you have a PC).

It can also be a bad mic cable...

Just some additional ideas.

You can do some tests during the week and if the issue persist feel free to share here to find a solution.

I'll try to unmute when I want to say something, thank you.

Thank you for the instructions. My computer is old so I'll try unmuting to say something. Trying to follow the instructions are beyond me I'm afraid, and worry I'll do more harm than good. If the lock down is lifted I could find an engineer to fix it. In the mean time could I possibly follow the meetings even if I cannot contribute. Being there helps me so much even if I can't get involved. Being able to see and hear you is very beneficial.

A thought occurred to me, I don't have a web cam at this time (waiting for it to arrive). For those that can only listen and watch, will somone be monitoring the chat section for those that want to pose a question or answer to the group, just need some reassurance, that's all.

We hope to accompany these workshops soon! For now it is in English?

It would be great to have you, Stella! And yes, it would be just in English for the the time being. As things advance we could start organizing groups by language but it may take some time.

That's good, Thuata. And don't worry about the audio, you can try unmutting when you want to talk for the next one to see if we can hear you alright.

That's a good idea, Joan. We'll keep an eye on the chat.

I'm almost 60% through the first book, but I'm reading on Kindle and the chapters aren't numbered. What is the name of the third chapter? Or second?

Anyone, thanks

Hi all.

Is this meeting still happening? I don't see anything either in the calendar or in this thread.
