Hi everyone,

The Am-EU group finishes chapters 6 & 7 of Michael Prescott's Life & Afterlife. The video and audio of the meeting will be posted at a later date.

Various supernatural phenomena is detailed with science to back it, with some being so convincing that it leaves no room for chance. Materialist scientists are always reaching into their magic hats trying to disprove them in some way--even going as far as burying their head in it even if proof proves to be conclusive! There's so much to digest in just these two chapters and is so varied in its topic that I sometimes forget that this is about the afterlife at its core.

I've attached the mind map below in both PNG & PDF form. For readability, I've also printed the mind map in bulleted form:

Chapter 6: NDEs throughout History
  • Accounts far back, in various times in history, and across cultures also describe this vapor forming after a person passes away. This vapor and the physical body are connected by a vaporous cord. The vapor body gradually gets larger over time, and at some point, the cord disappears.
    • Egyptians believed that each person is born with a "ka", or a spirit double, following the individual like a shadow.
    • Death, burial, afterlife, and ghosts are well-documented in Sumerian, Babylonian, and Assyrian lore.
  • The Tibetan Book of the Dead writes about the bardo of dying transitioning to the bardo of becoming, detailing the states from life to afterlife. These experiences have many parallels to NDEs, such as tunnels and being able to see the living, but unable to communicate with them.
  • (Bluefyre): The Cs mention that the bases are 3rd, 4th, and 5th density. 5th density was surprising. Can they manipulate those in 5D? We know they can't interfere as the soul goes through the silver cord post-death.
    • (Cassandra): Could this be related to soldiers being KIA & reanimated somehow?
    • (Luis): In the Santeria religion, they practice witchcraft where they commune and ask spirits to do their work. Followers are taught after they die, they will continue to help their organization in the spirit world.
    • (Bluefyre): Need to be careful--traumatic deaths can lead to disorientation in the afterlife process.
  • An account by Kalima, a woman from 19th century Hawaii detailed her NDE where she met many deceased people she knew. She was so full of joy and didn't want to go back to her body, which was not as vivacious as the one she inhabited during her NDE. She was ordered to go back, and she has regretted going back to her physical body for the rest of her life.
  • Those who shared their NDE with others and shamans were instrumental in shaping some religious traditions.
    • Shamans have used meditation, hallucinogens, and fasting to enter vision quests where their experiences aligned very well with NDEs. Some straight up experienced NDEs while suffering from serious illnesses.
  • There could be some overlap between OBEs and historical accounts of individuals spirited away to strange realms filled with various entities such as elves, fairies, and leprechauns. These bare resemblance to UFO lore--i.e. "little green men" or grays.
    • In John Mack's book, Abduction, abductees report that their OBE begins with a humming sensation, then floating above the bed. They were able to pass through walls, go past roofs. Aliens were sometimes perceived as luminous beings with telepathy.

Chapter 7: How Is It Possible?
  • There's a marked difference between "anesthesia awareness", which is partial awareness of one's surroundings due to inadequate sedation, and NDEs.
    • A 15 year old boy experienced both. In the latter, he described his anxious ordeal being operated on, while the latter was a full-blown OBE that felt much more pleasant.
  • There's a lot of skepticism regarding Sam Parnia's study that measured brain activity of those being given CPR after heart failure. The author notes that these kinds of studies provide no definite neurological explanation for NDEs. This is partly due to a small sample size and having no clear association between the brain waves and conscious activity.
    • (Pecha): A recent article describes Jimo Borjigin study of brain activity after patients were let go of their life support. Borjigin and researchrs found huge gamma wave activity and activation of the posterior cortical hot zone, which is said to be crucial for conscious processing: The new science of death: ‘There’s something happening in the brain that makes no sense’ (The Guardian)
      • (Breo): "A new study has identified a specific brain circuit centered in the periaqueductal gray that is linked to spiritual acceptance and religiosity.": Brain Circuit for Spirituality Identified
      • (Cassandra): Studies of the limbic system point to some interface with the spiritual world in an area in the body or brain.
        • (Bluefyre): In the Cs session, they mentioned that the soul interfaces with the neural system--perhaps it is not one area, but rather a system.
  • In Ganzfield tests, subjects are relaxed into a semi-trance, with their eyes covered, and wore headphones playing "pink noise". In another room, a tester concentrates mentally on sending one of four, randomly selected images to the subject. The results were statistically significant, showing great evidence towards the existence of ESP.
    • Meta-analysis of Ganzfield test studies from 1974 to 2010 shows a whopping 13 billion trillion to 1 odds against chance.
    • The success rate increases based on one's relationship to another. 37% for those emotionally close to one another, 43.55% for parents & children, and 71.4% among siblings.
  • There is a type of remote viewing coined by Stephan A. Schwartz called "psychic archaeology" where psychics are used to find ancient sites & artifacts.
    • George McMullen found much success in finding ancient buried Ontario Indian villages with this technique. He was able to accurately direct archaeologists on where to dig.
    • Schwarz conducted a remote viewing study with 43 remote viewers in November 3, 2003 that aimed to predict where & how Saddam Hussein would be found. On December 13, he was captured and it closely matched the predictions.
      • Could project stargate still be in operation today?
  • Repeat winners of the lottery may point to evidence of ESP.
    • (Luis): PSI + lottery case in the Wave where Laura won the jackpot, which she used to build her pool. Some type of spirit guidance or precognition?
    • (Redrock12): He knew someone who won two jackpots within 6 months, but it didn't do the woman any good.
  • If there's evidence of living people able to get information outside of their physical senses, then it would make sense for the dying to be able to get information similarly. As the physical body diminishes, it gives credence to the idea that extrasensory perceptions would open up more.

General Notes
  • (Luis): There's a drought in central Mexico right now. The farmers there are having difficulty with their crops.
    • (Redrock12): There's also been no rain here in Saskatchewan.
  • (Luis): The last Cs session and remote viewers corroborate that there are good things that await in the future.
    • (Luis): WEF people are saying that they are in crisis since things are not going according to their plans regarding control of countries.
  • (Cassandra): There's an article about an ex-KGB talking about how something similar is happening in the USA: We Were Warned Decades Ago How America Would Be Overthrown via The Bezmenov Plan: The Four Stages Of Communist Subversion: 1) Demoralization, 2) Disorientation, 3) Crisis, and 4) Normalization
  • (Breo): Prayer uplifts the mental landscape in addition to physical well-being.
    • (Luis): The book, You Are the Placebo, by Joe Dispenza talks about how true belief & true prayer can change one's gene expression.
  • (Bluefyre): In an account of an NDE, the person didn't want to go back. However, they showed him that his life would be much worse if he didn't learn the lessons in the current life.
  • (Bluefyre): Life in 3D is hard oftentimes. She loves her dog very much, but sometimes humans don't get that kind of care from creation.
    • (whitecoast): "Walk in beauty". The purpose is to be in harmony with everything else. Maybe this is how we can be seen in that same way.
  • (Cassandra): Like animals moving to 3D, OPs are also moving forward at this juncture.
  • (Breo): In the hospice, there are accounts of children seeing grays.

Hi y'alls,

The Am-EU group finishes chapters 8 & 9 of Michael Prescott's Life & Afterlife. Video and audio of the meeting has been collated courtesy of Turgon.

More exposition on the spirit/etheric double that appears prominently in afterlife literature is discussed in chapter 9, exposing how it even plays an important role in a healthy physical body. Other forms of bodies of a finer vibratory rate are spoke of as well (i.e. the energy & soul body).

The chapters so far have shared positive experiences with hints of negative aspects near the tail end of the chapters. Starting at chapter 10, the author dedicates an entire section of chapters revealing that the afterlife isn't always a positive experience for some. The state of mind, and the circumstances of death play big roles in individuals' awareness and experience in the afterlife process. States of depressed confusion, sadness, and regret are marked themes.

I've attached the mind map below in both PNG & PDF form. For readability, I've also printed the mind map in bulleted form:

Chapter 8: The Double
  • The medium Geraldine Cummins produced literature detailing the spirit/etheric double as serving the role of interfacing the physical body and the mind or soul.
    • Two works are mentioned: Beyond Human Personality and Swan on a Black Sea. The latter is noted to contain one of the most evidential pieces of channeling.
    • The soul works through this double, which is active at all times. Due to its degree of separation from the physical body and other factors, the soul never directly interacts with matter.
      • At times the double acts independently from the physical body (i.e. during sleep or coma)
  • As the name implies, the body double is twin-like in its appearance to the physical body. Bodily experiences & memories imprint onto the double
    • (Pecha): Once we pass away, what happens to the memories that are imprinted onto this spirit double when incarnating into another 3D body? Does this change when reincarnating into a 4D environment?
    • (Bluefyre): During abductions, do STS abduct this etheric body?
    • While the body ages & decays physically and/or mentally, it is harder for the soul to impress upon it. Despite this, the spirit double retains the memories fully.
  • During wakefulness, the double superimposes itself on top of the physical body. When the individual is in a drowsy state, the double tilts outwards, which is perceptible to some.
  • Charles Hampton notes that the double is still matter, but is much finer than the most gaseous of substances. In that way, the double is temporal in that once abandoned, it will disintegrate. The double is merely a way to feed vitality to the nervous system of the physical form. He notes that it will immediately dissipate after transitioning to the astral world.
    • (anartist): Would doing central nervous system work, would that improve the connection between the etheric & physical body?
    • (Turgon): Is taking courses on neural re-wirement courses where the instructor (Irene Lyon) helps others release stored survival stress & trauma. People report having an easier time connecting with the divine. Link to website.
  • In I Corrinthians, the apostle Paul states: "[...] And just as we have borne the image of earthly man, so shall we bear the image of heavenly man".
  • In Robert Crookall's book, The Supreme Adventure, he notes four intertwined bodies: 1) physical body, 2) energy body, 3) soul body, and 4) spirit body.
    • Prescott aims to focus on three bodies as it relates to the dying process. Each level has a finer vibratory rate compared to the previous: 1) physical body, 2) intermediate body that detaches from the physical, and 3) soul body that sheds the last vestiges of the physical.
      • Between points 2 & 3, the individual undergoes what is called "the second death".
    • (anartist): The Cs post about growing a body in the higher densities. Are any of these bodies in a higher density than three?

Chapter 9: Death by Violence or Suicide
  • There are marked differences between peaceful deaths and violent deaths after passing.
    • The former has the awareness of a silver cord with a sense of peace in a beautiful environment. The latter is characterized by confusion and being in a misty environment.
      • (whitecoast): Drugs during the dying process seems to share similar affect on the afterlife experience with violent deaths (i.e. the confusion, etc.).
  • Soldiers who've died in war recount through mediums that they wake up in their spirit body looking at the battlefield seeing other etheric bodies of other fallen soldiers. In particularly violent deaths, there is a period where the etheric body must recollect its scattered state.
  • The depressed state of those who choose suicide carries over to the afterlife, which has negative effects later on.
    • One recounts awakening in a sort of shadowlands with a strong sense of loneliness.
  • A suicide recounts that there is no external punishment that is dealt by another in the afterlife, but there is indeed a level of regret--that he didn't have the courage to face his difficulties and learn the stuff he needed to learn.
    • (Turgon): Suicide is like breaking the contract of what the soul was meant to do on 3D Earth. It is like skipping class where the individual needed to learn these lessons.
  • (Anya112003): It is disturbing that governments are making it easier to check out in life via suicide services.
  • "[...] you're here on Earth because you have a job to do, and you're expected to do it to the best of your ability, even if it's a long, hard slog. There are no shortcuts".

Thanks for the accurate and detailed synopsis @Pecha. It really helps when I didn't make all the workshops and my bookdealer, for some reason, hasn't got back to me after two months.
Also, thanks to all who participate in the workshops. It's a fascinating subject, absolutely mind blowing, even moreso with such active partipants. :cool2:. Big hugs to all:-D:hug:
