Hi everyone,

The Am-EU group finishes chapters 12 & 13 of Michael Prescott's Life & Afterlife. The video and audio of the meeting is provided by Luis.

I've attached the mind map below in both PNG & PDF form. For readability, I've also printed the mind map in bulleted form:

Chapter 12: Possession
  • Obsessing spirits are those that hang around the victim as a bad influence, while possessing spirits take over the body.
  • The Watseka Wonder case involves a rather "benign" spirit called "Mary Roff" that entered fourteen year old Mary Lurancy Vennum. One peculiar detail had the possessing spirit be able to identify many of Mary's family members, neighbors, & friends, all who were unknown to Ms. Vennium. The spirit activity died down greatly after some months of her own accord & she was able to live a more-or-less normal life.
  • (Luis): The woke crowd's use of they/them pronouns make it seem like they are possessed by some spirit(s).
    • (Pecha): It's like that bible passage "we are legion".
    • (Marija): Parasites can change the genes of individuals. It hijacks body processes, similar to possession.
  • (Breo): Young folks are exposed to drugs, alcohol, & sexual content, making it easier for them to get spirit attachments.
  • The Wicklands were pioneers in performing "spirit rescues" that helped spirits pass & move on. They were able to also help folks with spirit possession & essentially cure them so they can be de-institutionalized.
    • (Marija): Spirits speaking through someone is a sort of possession itself, and that is in part why Laura chooses to use the ouija board. That way there's a discerning layer that acts as a defense against entities.
    • Some spirits don't even know that they are dead. It wasn't until one of the spirits was attracted to Wicklands' supernatural activities that the spirit knew he was dead.
      • (Bluefyre): It's like the movie Sixth Sense. The boy didn't know (& the audience) that he was dead the entire time.
    • There are some spirits that were too tough to release, particularly those who are religious fanatics.
  • Alan Sanderson, a hypnotherapist & spirit release therapy advocate, uses his skills to speak to spirit attachments directly, often giving counsel to them. Many such cases afterwards where the spirit would move on into the light.
    • (Breo): This is probably happening in a lot of hospitals. For many it's a scary & painful experience. Lots of victimization too, making it a zone for entities to hang around.
      • (Marija): Folks are drugged up there too, making them more open & suggestible.
      • (cassandra): A build up of energies in hospitals can trigger some strange things.
  • Edith Fiore (psychologist with specialization in past-life regressions & "depossessions", i.e. SRT) invokes a white light to shield herself from attachments, and also uses the technique to cleanse her home, which is done on a daily basis and/or when she feels stress.
    • She also advises to avoid recreational drugs & alcohol as a way to protect from spirit attachments. Consuming these can weaken the aura to varying degrees.
    • (Luis): On top of these things, one needs to work on oneself & change bad behaviors as a start to protect against attachments.

Chapter 13: Beginning of the Transition
  • Evidence points towards a tunnel of light that appears during the death transition. Going through this tunnel increased the intensity of light. It's very vivid, and elicits feelings of otherworldly calm, joy, & peace.
    • NDEs hear something along the lines of "not yet" while beginning to go through this tunnel. They are then pushed back.
      • (Luis): These NDEs prove helpful for many people, giving them meaning in their lives.
    • Session 12 September 1998 session speaks of the afterlife process "A: The interesting thing is the timelessness. This is why very recently "departed" souls are often "seen" by their loved ones, imparting incredible knowledge. There have even been cases where two souls were involved in 3rd density traumas together, and one instructs the other to go back, as it "is not your time yet."
  • Children make good sources of knowledge regarding the afterlife process, as in their formative years, they are more pure in their biases. They aren't subject to a lot of programming from TV & life that may color their experiences.
  • (Breo): July 19, 1995 session talking about the silver cord:
  • (Marija): Harrison's substack on demons & spirits

General Notes
  • Discussion on weird weather--flooding in Dubai, colder temperatures in spring.
  • Germany travel advisory issues by Washington due to alleged terrorist activity.
  • (Marija): Dream of cometary impact in her home town. She was pushing her father to start running, but at some point the comet landed. She turned back and saw her father pass away.
  • (Laurs): Weird experiences in a concert in Germany with an friend, who noticed trance-like states in the young folks there. Eyes were glossed over, & ritualistic chanting can be heard, which unnerved her friend.
    • (cassandra): In Eve Lorgen's The Love Bite: Alien Interference in Human Love Relationships, there are feeding grounds that siphon energy to higher entities such as casinos.
  • (cassandra): Importance in keeping vigilance with unseen dangers. While we may not be in physical danger like much in the animal kingdom, there are dangers in the psychic jungles, and it's important not to forget one's knowledge.

For Next Meeting - May 12th, 2024

Hi all,

A while ago--I think it was 2020--I was part of the reading workshops. My work/life schedule got in the way since then. I would love to participate in one of the reading groups as well as the EE program if I am not working or taking care of my daughter. I work overnight shifts 11pm-7 am EST on weekends and may be able to join in the middle of the night even. Could someone let me know when they are? Thanks so much!

Hi candasiri,

EE meetings are on a different schedule: Mondays 18:00 and Fridays 01:30 UTC (Mondays 02:00pm and Thursdays 09:30pm for you).

Feel free to join as you have time available.

Hey Am-Eu meeting folks, I've been extra busy this weekend and am not able to get the recent discussion notes on chapter 14 out before the meeting on Sunday. I'll be missing this one too..but will be there for the next one!

I'll aim to release it later in the day on Sunday or EOD Monday at the latest.

For this Sunday's meeting, the chapters we'll look to cover are 15 and 16 in Life & Afterlife.

Apologies, but I will be busy at work, so won't be able to join. Have a good meeting, everyone :flowers:

Edit: I will try to join, but it will be later. I just don't know when exactly.
